The company photographs great and shows clothing to look better than it does in real life. It's poorly made and looks cheap. Sizing is inconsistent. If you want to return the company is firm on only 14 days. Terrible quality. Terrible service. DO NOT trust or purchase from Retrofete

Poor customer service on a 1st time purchase. Item had irregularities in the fit on the right sleeve and was misrepresented in photos in terms of color. Would not refund or store credit on 1st time purchase. I would not shop with them or recommend them to anyone. I'm a size small for reference. No return and no credit to the website

Not the best quality and absolutely unbearable customer service. I purchased a white sequin wrap dress and wore it for 1 hour at the end of my wedding reception. 10 minutes after changing into it the inside tie broke off causing me to have to hold the dress closed for the remainder of my wedding so I didn't flash everyone. Annoying in the moment, but not a big deal to repair. I should have taken it as a sign of what was to come. I didn't have it dry cleaned since it was barely worn and I stored it away in the provided garment bag out of direct sunlight. I took it out a year later to wear again and noticed certain rows of sequins had turned yellow, like 40% of the dress. I have a degree in textile science and have owned a bridal store, and it was very clear to me that some of the sequins used were from an old batch. Sequins don't just turn yellow in a year. So I reached out to them regarding the defect and they told me this was uncommon and I should have the dress dry cleaned. Well sequins are plastic and once plastic turns yellow there is no way to reverse it. I told them this and then their reply was that this was not an uncommon issue… ok so which is it? It was very obvious they were just giving me the runaround. I went back and forth with them a few times until finally a manager reached out and told me sorry we can't help you any further. They didn't even attempt to make amends or offer anything, they basically said too bad so sad, it's outside their return window (obviously!). Apparently they don't care about losing customers. Not only would I never buy from them again, I can no longer recommend them to my brides or anyone else ever again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They Shipped my order to the wrong address. And when I inquired about a refund or reshipping the item to the correct address, they told me I could not get a refund and I have to just order a new one like people are made of money and it's no big deal that I lost the money already spent. This is a scam. No company on the face of the planet does customer service like this. They want to be luxury but won't play the part

Poor quality garment and worse customer service. This garment came out of the box damaged. Fabrication was nothing as described on the website and unfortunately item was non-returnable. They did grant me an exception to return the piece for in store credit but I do not trust this brand to uphold the quality for what they are asking it's consumers to pay. As a apparel buyer myself this was a very disappointing experience all around. I would suggest if you want to try anything from this brand, purchase from a third party sight with better customer service and quality control like revolve to name 1. Do not shop direct from sight and do not purchase if you care at all about getting something worth the amount you will pay. If I could give negative reviews I would.

I ordered the Electra Dress for my wedding reception, and upon trying it on, realized that the dress was defective. You can clearly see the slip lining seam in the chest area. I reached out to Retrofete customer service to see about a return and was told no because I was outside of the 14 day return window. Okay. Understand. So I requested an exchange for a different dress of equal or lesser value. NO. They told me there is NOTHING that they can do to help me because again, I am outside of the 14 day window. I can understand not simply returning. But I can NOT UNDERSTAND sending out a DEFECTIVE dress and doing absolutely NOTHING to reconcile. They would not even send me the same dress again. Terrible customer service. No way this company is successful with that type of customer service. Highly disappointed.

My wife was down with Covid so after she felt better got out of bed, she tried on the jeans the sizing is wrong she went to return them to find out there's only 72 hour return policy after delivery

Tip for consumers:
Make sure it's what you want because the return policy is 72 hours after you receive the package

I ordered 3 items for $300 during the Archive Sale. I did not pay for travel insurance ($15). The packages did not arrive. I send back and forth emails with customer service 16 times and called multiple times. They said because I did not purchase travel insurance, they were not responsible if the package went missing. They said if I did not receive the packages ever then they would not be giving me a refund nor would they ship out replacement items. I told them this was not acceptable as I should not have to pay an extra $15 just to make sure I got what I originally paid for, but they said that was their policy.

I filed a dispute with my credit card and my credit card returned the money to me. I asked them if I could repurchase the items at the same price because I really wanted them and the archive sale had ended, so the items were once again double the price. They said no, they would not be honoring that price for me.
