“Ipad mini 2”

Robert D.
11/15/20

Ordered new glass and digitizer for my older Ipad mini 2. Parts came super fast and were complete with the tool kit to include everything needed for the job. The total repair took about two hours to complete. The only additional tool needed was a heat gun but I believe a good hair dryer would suffice. Very satisfied with the purchase and saved myself approximately $130.00.

“Durability and warranty issues”

Karl J.
7/24/20

I bought a screen replacement from repairpartsplus.com. It seemed great, and I installed the new screen. Within about a month, an entire band of the new digitizer stopped working. We were traveling and did not get a chance to contact them until 6 weeks from time of ordering. I contacted them about it and they would not replace it under their warranty because I did not know whether it happened exactly within 30 days or not. EDIT 9/28/2020. The battery that I bought from RepairPartsPlus was also defective. It started bulging about 3 months after purchase. I first noticed because I had to open the phone to replace a shattered screen (not the one from RPP), and then realized that the phone wouldn't close completely. But I thought it was my fault somehow, because it was not too far off of normal. It just wouldn't fully click back together on one side. Anyway, we kept using it but kept an eye on it. Within a week it was bulging so much that it caused a slight crack in the new screen. It was clear something was really wrong inside. I opened it up again, and saw that the battery was bulging way out. It was clear that it could even be dangerous at that point. So we stopped using it immediately and ordered a battery from another seller. Defective screen, I get that. It happens. But then the company needs to send a replacement. They son't stand behind the product, so I can't stand behind the brand and you get a bad review. But BOTH items I ordered from them were defective? That is inexcusable. There are lots of websites selling stuff. I do a lot of repairs, and I get batteries and screens from lots of sellers for lots of electronics. But I have NEVER had such a bad experience with a seller.

I received a damaged battery replacement due to being bent out of the box. Customer service asked for an picture which I sent, they said it looks fine to them. This battery is not going into my phone too dangerous.
They didn't pack with any bubble wrap etc. just in the envelope.

The iPad replacement screen I ordered has bad adhesive. It ruined my iPad. Before my iPad was still functional, the screen was only cracked. This defective replacement screen made my iPad useless. After returning it I didn't hear back from them for a month. They said they didn't have the return in their records. Finally they "found it" after I emailed repeatedly. They said they wouldn't issue a refund because the product I returned wasn't in new condition. OF COURSE IT WASN'T! How would I know if it was defective without trying to install it!? Ridiculous! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They don't even allow reviews on their Facebook or website page because they know it would be mostly negative!

Tip for consumers:
Do not buy from them!

None, they are awful

I brought my son's computer for the screen to get replace and when I picked up they never show us that is was working or in other words never turned on the computer that it was working correctly, so when I got home it was not properly fixed I brought the computer back to get it fix correctly and the manager said that we have to paid all over again to get it fix? $469 all over! Excuse was that it was working correctly when it leaved the store but they never turned on to showed us? I asked the manager to let me speak with the owner and I called a few times but he never called back? Never bring anything to get fix in this place ever again! I am Summit business owner and will never treat any of my customer like this! Extremely disappointed!

I bought a pc screen, everything went fine with the shipping and installing it, nonetheless after around 3 weeks of use it started with a flickering, I googled it and it is a common hardware issue in the surface pro 4 - Samsung V1 screen. I wrote 3 e-mails to support and they just never answered.

This company advertises on Amazon, but when you go to buy the product from Amazon they say that it's not available. When you magically go to their website it's available at twice the price plus shipping. I looked at their professional looking website fell for it purchase the battery in a much higher price than advertised on Amazon. It took an extremely long time to get here, and once installed it only lasted three months then died completely under normal use. I've contacted Amazon to let them know what this company is up to I think it's called Clickbait! Advertise on Amazon for a much lower more reasonable price, then say it's not available on Amazon then sell it directly through their store at a highly inflated rate! And then it's not even a decent product! It is a pain in the $#*! to change an iPad battery! I don't like doing it unless I have to! Having to pay another $80 for another battery for months later because the first one is defective it's not cool

Tip for consumers:
Never ever buy products directly from this company store, they advertise on Amazon, if they tell you the product is not available that’s a lie but do not purchase it from the actual company because you’ll get double charged

I took the time to speak with the customer service to ensure I was getting the correct part and it was everything I needed. That did not turn out to be the case, so I had to return it. My refund from RepairPartsPlus was minus a 20% restocking fee, a $4.00 repair part plus prepaid fee and additional $3.99 "free shipping fee". Wasted my money, for all I know the repair parts plus customer service person I spoke with knew it wasn't the correct part and I would have to return it, they make money either way. If you are absolutely, 100% sure the product you are purchasing won't have to be returned then perhaps Repair Parts Plus is okay.

I ordered an iPhone screen and toolsets, then I found the tools were not standard which doesn't fit the screw and I contact their customer service got 20% re-stock fee waived. When I checked my refund still lost $8 dollars for both sides shipping fee according to their policy. I just kind of don't understand why I have to pay for defects of the product.

My order was $44,20% re-stock fee will be $8 and plus shipping fee $8, you will lose $16 of $44 if anything wrong with.

Recommendation: highly recommend who is trying to buy stuff from these company with the re-stock fee policy check bigger company's offer like Walmart, Amazon etc because their policy protects customers, anything wrong with you can free return item.

I purchased an LCD from them that would not power on. I contacted them immediately for a return. They provided a shipping label and when I returned it, said it was out of the return period by the time they received it so they would not warranty it, despite my getting a no working display from them. I emailed them to ask for assistance and they ignored my correspondence after that. I will not purchase from this company again. Beware!

They do not back up their products. My purchase came with random tools and no instructions all loose in a box. It did not even come with all the tools needed for installation. Upon removing the screen cover we realized the screen was cracked. I immediately called and emailed RepairPartsPlus. They told me they could not help and that my warranty was void, and then i was hung up on.The products on their site "look" like a good purchase, but do not be fooled. They are selling you a second hand product for upper prices but they do not back the product.

Tip for consumers:
Keep looking for other sites. Do not be deceived by this RepairPartsPlus.

i ordered a new screen with digitizer and tools for my IPhone 6 and payed for quicker shipping which i did not receive. When i finally received my package, days after the standard shipping range it only consisted of the screen and no tools. when i called they said they would send more tools out which never came so i took it upon myself and got them somewhere else. After finally putting the new screen on it has had glitches and freezes on a pretty regular basis. In the future i will be using and recommending other websites for phone repairs.

I returned a Glass repair kit for a Samsung product because it does not have the manufacturer logo and they do not state that. Kit worth $30, credit given $20. Lost $10 just like that! DO NOT BUY unless really sure you are not returning FOR ANY REASON
