Very bad customer service they did not care! - in may of 2008 i had my optoma HD70's original lamp shipped to PLS "projector lamp services. There website: www.relampit.com says that they give a 90day warranty incase that there is a defect on the lamp caused by their end. Well i got my lamp back from them and yes it was relamped but when i re installed it to my optoma HD70 it did not work! My projector had a orange light on and i looked at the owners manual and found out that that orange light mean't that the lamp was defected. I called "PLS" the same day i received my amp and i just keeped on getting the run around the person that i needed to speak to was always too busy with other customers. Well i didnt know what to do since all i seen in their website was good reviews but for some reason i couldnt find the link to give them my feedback on their services, now i know that those reviews were fake. I bought another lamp from the manufacturer for about $ 500.00 dollars with shipping and i installed that one and it worked! Till this day i was unable to get my money back and i was unable to speak with the person incharge of the complaints department. How funny to know that person has had no time to speak to me in 4 months and still counting. I paid $255 dollars to relamp my projector's original lamp at relampit.com now im out $255 dollars i will never do business with them again. Just incase you wanted to know what i did with that lamp that did not work, i started messing with it and got it to work but it still show's a defect in the lamp. Well bottom line save your self a headache and don't waste your time with this company just get the lamp from the manufacturer. Even if it cost a little more. By the way the 1 star i gave was only because they packed it very neatly.
