Simply put, I always buy my outdoor gear from REI because I know I can buy expensive gear with confidence. Confidence that the gear will be worth the price and if for some reason the gear just isn't right for me after I purchase then REI's return policy makes it a non-hassle.
Transactional capabilities are borderline fraudulent. Store pick-up items: delayed 20 min at the counter where I'm told my amex card has canceled half my order. I had to call AmEx on the spot to discover that some bizarre intermediary that REI uses had refunded half of it! And now, in the store, they wanted it back. The clerk told me this happens all the time 😜 Delivery items: 2 days later they email and cancel my other 2 delivery items due to " nventory changes"
I bought Rei Outlet Odlo seamless meduim sports bra. It is very comfortable and nice to the body. Now the price is discounted to about $27 and it's great. Because teh initial price is rather high for me.
I recently ordered a bike from REI's web site and had it shipped and assembled at my local REI store. I was concerned because you can not track the shipping, but the bike arrived earlier than the estimation that was provided at checkout. Arrived within one week.
The sales guy that went over the bike with me at pick up was not so knowledgable about the bike and set up.
I checked the bike over when I got it home. Everything was properly torqued and brakes and gears all functioned well. Overall good experience.
I've always wanted to be a sporty girl, and one year, I decided I would start hiking. That lasted for a month. In the meantime, though, I got some sweet gear from REI.com, including the cutest ski pants with suspenders (when I decided I would be a skier, and that lasted for 1 day). Though I only run now, I still feel nostalgic for the days of hiking and skiing when I hear those three letters R-E-I.
This album contains one of pop music's most double-take inducing opening lines (find out for yourself). Soon, though, the lyrics blend amazingly with the rich latin-hued music that dominates the entire album. The fun never lets up until the meditative and insect-accompanied 'I Know Sometimes A Man is Wrong' closes the party.
Cool site. Easy to use, easy to select item then purchase it and fast shipment.
