So far I have had a great experience with Referral Cars. Its quick, easy. Great agent. The shipping fee is reasonable otherwise its totally free. The only negative things I can say is the 24 hour wait after activation and, at least for me I got an add campaign that probably wont make me anything at all. We will see.
Informed a sticker for my car would only be $12 but then a bunch of add ons that I had to get which ended up costing me $40. I drive 110 miles everyday through 3 major cities I've found it strange that no one was calling the number on the back of my wind shield. Had a few friends and family call the number to get some credit yet whenever I checked my clicks I was informed that I got 0. H time I filed a complaint with customer service the only response I ever got was after 7 days explaining that if I had no more complaints they would close the file.
My card was charged before I had even finished signing up for the program. The person doing the videos speaks with a very strong foreign accent and this makes me nervous
I basically paid to advertise a company, instead of it being the other way around. I paid for the sticker and the extra commission fee. No one has tried it and I'm at least in traffic for 10 hours a week. The texting code is so long that I wouldn't even try to text it myself. However, their customer service is great, people are nice.
Been on the car for 6weeks even drove through nyc not one call so far. Got the sticker was easy to put on but seams hard to read from more than a few feet hard while driving only saw one othe car with the sign since i put mine on..
I can't login anymore. I haven't made any money off of it. I really think it's a waste of my time. I didn't know I was going to have to pay money upfront to get started
After using Referralcars for a year or more, I have not gotten any results for it. I wish I could say different.
PROS: Qualifying online to receive your sticker and the potential to earn money while driving is easy. The shipping is fast and the physical process of placing your decal on your car couldn't be faster or simpler.
CONS: The phone number to text and the specific code that applies to your account is too long and difficult. It should be shorter so people can be more inclined to use them.
After one solid month of participating in this program driving a daily round trip commute of 45 min. Per day for 6 days a week. I've turned up ZERO leads or revenue. The consolation compensation claims to be a $100 gift card voucher to Restaurants.com (which sucks because the list of participating restaurants is short and bland and require purchases to be effective). But what would be better is if we were compensated with a $100 Visa Gift card instead. This truly is a waste of time and could've been done better.
I never know that on till when my code is used I get paid. But I will still continue my advertisement on my car
So i have had the decal for going on 3 months and I drive to different States weekly kind of odd that driving 1500 miles in 2 week time period for the last 3 months and not even one...
I still wait for a sticker, I dont get any information and any result, I was think is a good option for i saw is a mistake
Nothing to say! I have received Nothing! I drive I here nothing. Still waiting. I, ll wait some more.
As others have stated, I don't appreciate having to pay anything before I even begin to work. The shipping costs should have been paid for at least until I received my first 2 or 3 commissions. I would advise others to think long & hard before participating. I can't tell right now if this will pay off for me. If I actually receive a restuarant.com card, that will be the only saving grace. Then I will recoop the money that they got from me. The assistance that I received in helping me get setup & started was great but, again this was supposed to be a job. A job is where you go to earn money, not pay for things before you ever see a paycheck. That IS REALLY WHERE I HAVE A HUGH CONCERN ABOUT. I was asked to provide proof of purchase when I wrote this review to prove what I am saying is true. Well, all I had at the time would have been my bank statement & I was not providing a copy of that. Believe me, I would not waste my time to review Referrals.com if I had not done anything that I said I did in this review. I DO VALUE MY TIME.
I am surprised they're a lot of five stars for this company. I too love the idea for this company, but I have had a very disappointing journey with this company. When I signed up, I was guaranteed a 100-gift card if I did not receive commission within 90 days. I finally got that gift card on December 12th when I signed up in July. The gift card is not a gas or visa gift card. It is to resturants.com. I understand that some do not read the following print, but I did and the resturants.com gift card was not there nor in bold. I feel like I was scammed a bit by referrals.com and wanted to share my experience, so that people can save their money.
