I went to Red Robin in Queen Creek Arizona to get a mad love burger. I got it with whole avocado slices instead of the avocado spread, and a side of garlic aioli. I had a family member pick it up and bring it back to the house. When I unwrap the burger these bits of black and something fell out. I didn't know what it was because it was so dark. I thought maybe it was a burnt pepper. Turns out it was bacon. Bits of burnt bacon. I tried to put it to the side and Salvage some of the bacon, I continue to eat and then another nasty flavor hits my mouth. I open the burger to see what it was and the bottom of the Patty was completely burnt. I asked for well done but I didn't ask for burnt. I'm talking about solid color with a rim of extra extra crispy. I thought maybe I can just pick around that part and remove it put the side and continue eating my burger. And then the taste of the overcooked burnt cheese hit my mouth. I thought it was the brown of the Patty but it was the cheese. The white cheese that they fry up was brown orange and black. You can see it on the top of the burger. Only thing that wasn't messed up was the center of some of the pieces of bacon, the vegetables and the bun. When I called the store six different times to solve the issue they kept sending me to a different extension. I told them I just want my burger to be replaced and I'll come and get it. I was told I had to talk to a certain department. I was sent to that department six different times. And the phone was never answered. Not even once. It just disconnected after a while. I saved the burger because I was going back to the store to get a replacement. I never got a hold of a manager, I never got a hold of anybody that could help. I called customer service for Red Robin and was told I couldn't get my burger remade but they can file a claim and eventually get me a refund but it's a very slow process and it might take months. I just wanted what I paid for which was $22 for a burger and a side of garlic aioli. It used to cost $13. And was made correctly. You can see the burnt pieces of bacon I didn't spit in the trash. And you can see the burnt cheese, I didn't show the bottom of the Patty. But the whole thing was messed up and wasn't even edible. I ripped the edges off and tried to eat the middle and still wasn't able to get passed all the burntness. I don't plan on going back to Red Robin. The burger is too expensive for such a mistake that couldn't even be resolved over the phone. This was the Queen Creek Arizona location by the way
Re: the RR in Victorville Mall... I always have a great experience at RR, especially w/ bartenders but because this one rookie mgr got our order WRONG three x's we were "TOLD" to LEAVE! She came out like a BULL and confronted us! Never have I been confronted like that, she should be FIRED!
She actually ADMITTED she got the order WRONG according to the bartender and yet, she, not wanting to lose face said, "I'll do this one more time".
It was NOT my fault YOU couldn't get the order RIGHT... so my son wrote a BAD review upon chk out. I feel a Mgr shouldn't come out like a BULL confronting a customer over a wrong order ESPECIALLY if it wz THEIR fault! The second time the order wz sent bk the bartender said she marked the ticket precisely the way we ordered it and the "Mgr rookie" STILL got it wrong and insulted us in front of all the other guests. WE DID NOTHING WRONG... "SHE" MISREAD THE TICKET... AND ADMITTED IT, WHY WERE WE TOLD TO LEAVE?!
So, today went to another RR (In Jess Ranch) ironically, were quickly met by the head Mgr. He escorted us out and when I asked why... he sd I made a Bartender "HYSTERICALLY" cry... WHAT!
All the Bartenders love me because we laugh and talk and I leave substantial tips! Under what circumstances could I possibly make her CRY HYSTERICALLY? (LIES to justify their position!)
Then, we were told we sent our orders bk too often... Hmmmmm, sounds like the other RR we were at, not this one!
Apparently, they got the review my son wrote (I don't know what he sd but...), and promptly before we even got a chance to sit down we were escorted OUT, like CRIMINALS by a Mgr I've never even seen or met before!
I RESPECT the fact your workers work HARD and are UNDERPAID... I tip VERY WELL!
All this because THEY can't get the orders RIGHT!
I spend a LOT of money there...
Pfffffff there are other restaurants your menu stinks anyways! No happy hour menu... oh wait, they just made one with pretzels and pickles (lol)!
If I could give you a ZERO I would. How dare you blame me for your inability to serve your customers with respect and get the orders right!
