“Sold corked champagne and refused to refund or exchange”

Stephanie C.
6/27/20

I bought a case of 6 bottles of Chandon costing $199. These were for a special occasion. I opened the first bottle and it was corked and therefore not drinkable. I opened a second bottle straight away and also undrinkable. I contacted redmart the next day when customer services was open and they have refused to give me a refund or exchange because I ordered more than 7 days ago (it's still only 10 days ago). Champagne is not something you just drink straight away! This is unacceptable. I sent pictures of the opened but not consumed bottles and said they could collect all 6 bottles if needed. If this is not resolved I will have to go to small claims court.

Johnson & Johnson's supermarket product: 'Radiant Skin Facial Scrub' gave me Rosacea, which I discovered soon after, is a lifetime sentence. What price do you place on skin damage to your face, you now, have to permanently manage?

When my sister heard their product had given me Rosacea, she added that her daughter,
Friend and herself had had a negative reaction to the Aveeno moisturizer; among four people four negative reactions?

I persisted against Johnson and Johnson's Australia (contact number on container) fob-offs for a long time until I finally gave up. During this time I discovered they really are a dark company with many, many law suits against them world-wide, and completely at ease to have cancerous toxins in their products, including in baby products until late 2013 they finally, under pressure, fazed out some of the most toxic chemicals in some of their formula's. No wonder they were so reluctant and disinterested in me. They bullied, ignored the doctors report they'd asked for, then sent me on a wild goose chase.

Excerpts taken from former J&J's marketer article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidvinjamuri/2012/02/16/why-i-wont-invest-in-jj-and-dont-trust-tylenol/#*******ff7f39
"Four years ago, I would have said that Johnson & Johnson was one of the best companies in the world. As a former J&J marketer (for almost half of the 90's) and a second generation J&J alum (my dad worked in finance for J&J in the 60's), I was proud of the ethical standards of the company. No longer".
"JNJ used to be a great place to work. Now, the higher level management is full of mediocre, self-serving yes-men. It's really sad how the company has changed". One thing kept resurfacing, a theme which I also heard from friends still at Johnson & Johnson: the company culture has changed. "The Credo is Dead":
"So I am sad to say that as a parent and an ex-employee, I no longer trust the company or its brands. And as an investor, I won't be putting my money in Johnson & Johnson".

It was around this time that I had my first encounter with Johnson & Johnson and fully experienced it's 'culture' first hand. I have since read they are now living on the Legacy of their name.

In a baby product reviews, one mother lives with the on going dilemma, was it the Johnson & Johnson "No More Tears baby shampoo", that had in time, caused her young child's death, due to cancer.

When they reply to negative website reviews with: 'We're sorry you've experienced this, please contact us', what they mean is: We've got heaps of forms for you to fill out, information for our benefit and purposes only and thank you.

I also discovered a far darker side to Johnson & Johnson that goes way beyond their toxic products and money hungry, lack of care. But when we had corporate take over of the internet this information was taken down. (As was a lot of other valuable information spanning the internet, but unless you'd already seen it, you don't know it's know it's gone).

To those unaffected by and oblivious to Johnson & Johnson's shady empire, you're straight out lucky.

I'm updating this review tonight as I'm adding it to https://www.sitejabber.com/online-business-review and I see a lady is awarded $160 million damages in 2017 due to Johnson & Johnson talcum powder/cancer and has since died. I see it says on the label: SLEEP BETTER, MILDNESS CLINICALLY PROVEN. She's more than sleeping, I wonder which clinic proved the mildness? https://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=*******

I also discovered tonight, there is an Auckland based NZ Johnson & Johnson Ltd. I may again pursue them on home ground, I really need the help of media who cannot so easily be dismissed. People would also be given the truth of who they are dealing with when buying from Johnson & Johnson.

This is what Johnson & Johnson have to say LOL:

US pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson was Thursday ordered to pay out $4.69 billion in damages in a lawsuit representing 22 women and their families who alleged a talc sold by the company contained asbestos and caused them to suffer cancer... J&J said it was "deeply disappointed in the verdict."Jul 13,2018
