Any discussion that's critical of union slackers and its dishonest members gets flagged deleted and eventually the poster gets banned for telling the truth. This site is moderated by crooked people.

Comes across as a deal site but it's embedded with pro Liberal and DEI propaganda. You have this one person called Chimaican. He is anti white and anti Canada in its current form. You question mass immigration or anything remotely critical and he cries racism. Mods protect him.

While you can find deals in the "hot deals" forum, interactions with the forum itself is a very negative experience. For whatever reason they use manual approvals for each individual post and comments made on the forum, this basically allow the admins and moderators to freely abuse their power. That is not how a public forum should function. I was viewing a food deal where half the users seem to love it and the other half hates it, but what does personal taste have to do with how good the deal is? So I made a comment questioning the objectiveness of these users, yet my comment was "disapproved" by a moderator with a simple "please follow rules" message. This basically feels like a dictatorship in disguise.

Be very careful what you post on the Political Thread. The Admins like Mars, Mr. Disco and good ole Tom are ultra pro Liberal and NDP. They ban anyone with centre views like questioning the Carbon Tax.

My review is about my time as a member in 2023, why I left and what I see as a guest today.

My time on the site was not enjoyable. The modz didn't do anything about the constant abuse of forum members by a small group of disturded individuals who frequently lied, mislead public for their own gain and gang attacked anyone who stood up to them. The likes system is broken. People will dislike a post just because they hate the store or product which gives the impression the deal is worthless but that would be a false view.

The modz would always say you have thin skin but it was modz and trolls whom had thin skin as they would cry victimization the minute you fought back, makes no sense right.

I left with a 7,451 thumbs up on my posts, helping thousands of strangers everyday but would be the target of vile abusive responses referring to my religion and gender. The modz did nothing.

I left in December 2023. You can view the site in guest mode and see the toxic environment for yourselves. Please do not visit or support this site as they allow lots of vile, ignorant posters free reign on their site.

Very biased site. Be careful what product you critique because if its one of their sponsors you will be banned or suspended with no explanation. Careful what you say in the political off topic board as the moderators like Mars are pro NDP.

I would just like to confirm all the below negative reviews of how biased the moderators are. Delete comments when you are simply defending yourself. Yet those comments aren't deleted.

The site is not well moderated. They mainly react to peoples reports and all they do is clean the place or lock the thread without discrimination. Sometimes they cleanup a thread for little to no reasons just because some members reported it. Also, as a down side, their search engine is average at best.

Mildly useful, but nowhere near US SlickDeals. People with tens of thousands posts troll and ridicule new posters and if you post a deal, it better be 90% off or free otherwise local trolls will bash you to oblivion with their snobby entitled rudeness. Also quite politicized and gives space to hate comments on its forums.

Their forums are cheer leading clubs, not a place for debate or discussion. Bring up anything even slightly controversial and you're deleted, your post or your membership. Got booted after twenty years as a member. Don't enrich them, use an app like 'RedFlagDeals Link Fixer' and ad blockers.

I got one of those "you were selected" pick your item just pay shipping. I went to order as shipping was $7.95 but once you go to order shipping is $9.95 so I will skip this. Yes its only $2, but its the principle of it.

Your not allowed to express an answer to a question, or concern posted there.
I was completely removed by a moderator expressing, I had a suspicious IP address,,? That I felt was offensive and I expressed that to them in an email, not very good customer service.

So I wrote about an honest issue that happens to me and I wanted to tell others about it boy was that a big mistake in doing so on this forum website. Not only did they attack my post but on top of it all, they have no clue as to what they were talking about. It seems this place has its groupies and if one of them says something whether it is good or bad the rest follow. I will never write or even view this site again. I'm not giving my time to hateful people

Moderators that seem to own the forums and edit or delete according to their personal feelings and hiding behind ambiguous rules. Seems to be groups of like minded posters that gang up on posts they don't like... without moderator interference. Autocratic administration. Moderators that have been there for years and think the forums are theirs and their "friends". Used to be a very good site with objective and thoughtful posts/discussions/arguments but now is steered to moderator direction.

Deals are very much YMMV here and hoarders, those who make rude, demeaning and condescending comments are condoned should these posters be on great terms with moderators like MrDisco.

There's an inordinate amount of MEGA threads with more than thousand of posts dating back many years making it very frustrating and not useful. Moderators will quickly stick your post into these MEGA threads should you create a separate post, effectively burying your post making it obscure.
