I actually had purchased a disc from kiosk. My son inadvertently rents the same discs not knowing I had bought it. No worries tho, until I go to return it, that is. I accidentally returned the purchased disc but was told I couldn't keep the rented disc in its place because I'd get charged the $45 and their tech or staff aren't sophisticated enough to pull off this MASSIVE task of exchanging discs. Still, no worries tho, I would just return the rented disc and contact them
For a refund I thought, which was fine because neither of the discs played very well anyway and they now have them back even to rob some other poor innocents just wanting to watch a movie, but... WRONG! I went through three different representatives, all of which couldn't care less about helping me resolve this issue and getting me reimbursed. Instead, they were more focused on how they could actually avoid offering any type of assistance and seemingly planned to work as a useless and pusillanimous team causing intentional frustration and exercising their absolute idiocy, all the way to the point of the last sorry and pathetic rep. Actually hitting me square between the eyes with her bullcrap of how they can't issue a refund after 90 days all of a sudden. First I had heard of that. Hell, that could've saved everybody a world of frustration if they would've led with that, which is why it's hard to believe that is actually the truth. Sounds like a cop out, which is not a stretch to consider for their tactics to remain as slothful and pathetic as they possibly can. However, ultimately, the outcome was that they now have my money that I paid for the movie, they have my movie that I paid for, offered no resolution and were quite arrogant about how they had tried to help me and there was just nothing that could be done for me. Then tried to convince me that I should be happy because I had gotten to keep the movie for 7months and only paid $9.64. That's right! Screw principle and any decent moral and considerate customer service reps, right? I mean, why in the world would we expect such a thing as honesty and a company that is going to blatantly steal your money and the product you are trying to purchase from you and then try and make you feel like you are just a bad customer and are of no importance because they can rationalize, in their eyes, why it's somehow ok to steal from you. It's companies like this that I would love to see just collapse, because based on experiences with more than one or more of the staff members, they have obviously indoctrinated the employees into being horrible, pathetic excuses of human life and are nothing but a plague on the economy because of how they handle themselves and how they treat their customer base, even their loyal customer base, which I had been a part of for the life of their existence. Screw Redbox man. I am shifting all of my movie money over to Netflix now as a result and will encourage every individual movie lover I know to do the same and will be sharing my experience as much as I can so that hopefully, they won't get to rob too many more of us before they ultimately go under. It's unbelievable, that in a world of twits and tweets, u would think these clowns would have at least a little shame, when it came to being just pathetic losers and thieves and justifying that it's ok, knowing that it's ginna get posted and broadcasted how much they just suck. {Super high hopes that they will $#*! their doors or at least sell the company to someone that knows how to treat their customers with respect and loyalty and not steal from them}
