So we're do I start after being on here years ago and it being full of nonsense leads I thought I'd give it a go years later see if it has got any better it has actually got worse way way worse I bought 14 leads out of the 14 11 were bogus absolute nonsense waste of time and effort no answer or changed mind another posted 11:33 bought it at 11:35 called 11:36 no answer text me at 11:45 please offer turned up what is he driving a jet nonsense. Rated people have gave me back credit of £104 so another month goes by I am monitoring leads closely e. G spelling or 1 liners being ignored. I only spent 14.99 of my 104 as all the rest were $#*! and guess what no answer from deter bates from northberwick. Yeah okay then that's a believable name mate. Only 1 in 10 seem okay. You have to be a $#*!ing magician to find them. All the rest have spelling mistakes or are 1 liners. Example: Clean guter inside out and replace. Why have a to clean the gutter if it's to be replaced you fool. Most lead posters Can't spell telling me eighter there getting the local junkies to post the leads or 60% of the leads are the same guy/woman who can't spell as there can't be that many people who can't spell on the same site looking for tradesmen. So finally had enough today called them told them cancel the account. " sorry sir your in contract" oh and what going to happen now. " you will need to pay the remaining months or go to debt collector" yeah watch me pay for bull $#*! leads £70 per month. They also lied and told me they vet tradesmen and there leads. Another lie they did not vet me not once did not give a hoot about me or who a was or what they were interested in signing me up. Guy kept trying to get me for the £2000 month yeah right mate if a had 2000 a month for leads I would not be on rated people use google ads there better return. They also lie about jobs being vetted as I done a test. Posted a job and seen how long it took to go live on there system from when a posted to seeing it on my tradesmen app. It took 3:30-4:00 hours they then said it had just been posted a 1 liner (so no one would buy it) Chimney take down that is it one line they put it up for 25.99 plus vat and someone bought it well here the laugh really begins. The name (Bert's gutters) bought a job lead to take down a $#*!ing chimney. Now I am no expert but Bert the gutter man is no taking down my non existent chimney as he does gutters so they clearly also let tradesmen buy what ever leads they like with 0 qualification's for the work. (Submising Bert doesn't have qualification as he only cleans gutters) THE WHOLE RATED PEOPLE IS ALOT OF $#*! I ALSO NOTICED RIGHT AT THE BOTTOM OF THERE SITE THEY HAVE AFFILIATES WHIXH MEANS THEY ARE PAYING PEOPLE FOR LEAD GENERATION NOW I AM NO ELON MUSK HERE BUT TELL ME IF YOUR PAYING FOR YOUR LEADS THROUGH AFFILIATES DOES THAT NOT GIVE RESON FOR PEOPLE TO MAKE FAKE ONES AND SELL U THEM AFTER ALL U DONT CHECK THEM NOR VET THEM SO NOT ONLY DONT U CARE ABOUT TRADESMEN U ALSO DONT CARE ABOUT HOME OWNERS AS YOU LET UNQUALIFIED TRADESMEN BUY LEADS FOR PLUMBING, electrical, roofing and don't try pass the buck say u should vet the tradesmen yourself as a home owner as that's bull $#*! your posting the job to your tradesmen paying you you should get them. I HOPE THE MAN THAT STARTED THIS COMPANY WHEN HE HAD PROBLEMS FINDING TRADESMEN WHEN DOING HIS EXTENSION READS THIS AND IS ASHAMED OF WHAT IT HAS BECOME. ($#*! me that was long)

I obtained a company to Erect my garden fence through Rated People. This was Evergreen Tree Solutions, Sawtry, Huntingdon. Their price was similar to other quotes, but they could start fairly quickly. They asked for a deposit to secure a date in the diary which I duly paid. Unfortunately, they did not make that appointment as they had double booked the day, they agreed to come the following week. The next excuse was Covid-19 and they had to isolate. The next excuse was that no concrete posts or gravel boards were available. I sourced these for them and they then ordered them from my source to be delivered to my house on the agreed date. The team from Evergreen arrived on the day. However, they had significant problems digging holes for the concrete posts and all the posts were not in at the end of day one. In one place the had to shorten the distance between the panels as they hit something solid underground? On the second day they dug the rest of the holes and put the panels in the slots of the posts. The job looked OK.

I paid them the rest of the balance the following day; that was a mistake. Later that day I started to paint the panels and you have to look fairly closely at them at this point. There were quite a few problems where the had to cut the panels to make them fit. There were 4 places in all, this was not done very well at all. At one end of the fence, where it was secured to an outbuilding, the top of the fence was not secured at all and was free to blow in the wind. They had done a bodge job repair, but the wood had split where they had put in screws. I managed to secure that with a small piece of wood and 2 screws. On the other end of the fence where the panel again was not full length they had cut the panel to fit the gap, but had not provided any reinforcing wood down the sides of the feather board panel. I was then a little concerned as to how this could be repaired. I contacted Evergreen, but I have not had a reply. When I had a closer look at this panel I found that it had not been secured in place at all apart from jamming it in the gap between the old wooden post and the new concrete post. A strong wind could have blown the panel out. Fortunately, this will make it easier for me to fix, bit also shows the slap dash approach of Evergreen. I will never employ them again or recommend them to friends or relations. I will not use rated people again either.

So the what sort of rating does Rated People give this firm? How are the rated? Is it just the fact that they send a fee to Rated People for the jobs they are given by Rated People?
