I had problem and Raise representative absolutely solve it. I ordered many gift cards from Raise, satisfied at all. Recommend! Great service! Thanks
Had to call in because an order took longer to process. Bryce, the rep that returned my call, was extremely helpful and friendly!
They were able to help me out with kindness & patience. They helped me solve an issue using their creativity. It's much appreciated.
Every time I call customer service they are very friendly. My refunds are always put back on my account. I tell everybody about Raise
The service was top shelf! Finer than the best Cali Kush you could imagine. Shout out to Michiko! Keep up the great work
I have bought eGift from Raise about 5 times. It always delivers my eGift to my wallet in seconds.
And the customer service is very helpful.
I've been to this site before to purchase discounted gift cards. They have electronic gift cards that give you the value of the card immediately, or physical gift cards that are great for giving away for special occasions. Either way it's the BEST way to get a deal on GIFT CARDS.
The thing is... if you have a gift card that has a remaining balance that you never seem to get used up, this is the BEST place to use it. I had a store credit and I never used it. So I went online, posted the listing, selected my sale price (I usually sell for 10% off the card balance. Example $20 gift card at 10% off would save $2 off the $20), then waited for it to sale.
MOST OF MY CARDS SOLD WITHIN 15 MINUTES. Some of them sold immediately and I transferred the funds into my PayPal account or Bank account. There is an option for you to be sent a check. Whatever you want.
Probably the best site to change your gift cards into AWESOME CASH or GIFT CARDS YOU WANT!
I strongly recommend this website to everyone. Quick, easy, great support, and great results. You can't go wrong with RAISE.COM!
I had a question about one of my cards. They warned me I was selling to low and fixed it right away. I sold my card at a higher price minutes latter.
Gave 2 vouchers to Ruth Christs for xmas. They used the first one on Superbiwl Sunday and everything went fine. A couple months later they tried to use the second one and was told it had already been used. After several calls to Ruth Christs, no history pertaining to the usage of that card could be found. My parents, embarrassed to have to call me, told me what had happened.
I called customer support who were great. She confirmed there was no info on that voucher and immediately refunded my money.
Unfortunately, a couple things are 'sticking' with me;
1) I wouldn't feel comfortable buying a gift from the site again although I would consider buying for myself; and
2) it bothered me that this "100 day guarantee", wasn't emphasized upon sale... if the guarantee they offer only goes out 100 days then wouldn't it follow that all gift cards should be used within 100 days? Furthermore,
3) Although they say 100 day guarantee, in reality if you bought your gift card using a credit card, this is an immediate chargeback, for a period more than 100 days, under the chargeback reason: NON RECEIPT OF GOODS OR SERVICES
"I purchased a Lowes gift card from Raise last November. It was an electronic credit.
The Good: I used it some of it right away to make sure it worked and the balance was accurate, and it was.
The Bad: Apparently, the credit was based on a Lowes merchandise credit. In December, Raise learned that Lowes was changing their policy and would no longer accept merchandise credit without the physical card. Raise decided to contact previous SELLERS of the credit to ask them to send in their physical card. But they chose not to notify BUYERS that their card was not going to be valid in January. Some sellers never shipped the card and Raise never notified me of any of this. When I tried to use it in the spring and found out it could not be used, I contacted Raise about the problem and that was when they told me they already knew about it. They also said I was out of luck because while their records showed the seller used the shipping label to send in the card, they could not find it in their warehouse. When I asked for a refund of my remaining balance, Raise would only refund me a max $50 credit instead of my actual balance and said they were doing me a favor because technically, it was outside of their 100 day policy.
So help me understand the logic... Raise found out that my Lowes card would be invalid within the 100 days of my purchase but chose not to tell me about it, and now they can't refund me the amount because I didn't tell them (what they already knew) until after my 100 day window. Total ridiculous.
The least they could have done is notify the buyers when they found out from Lowes. That's what an ethical company would do. I spoke with customer service and their supervisor, and while they seemed nice and reasonable, they apparently are not empowered to do the right thing. They also said that their products are meant to be fully used in 100 days. Not true. If it were, then there would be far fewer buyers. Anyways, I will definitely take my business elsewhere. "
Everyone I talked to in customer service was excellent! I am very impressed and will buy from them again. My refund was issued in a timely manner.
She was very accommodating and nice. My issue with the order not processing was resolved immediately and in a pleasant manner. Kudos!
Didn't make me feel foolish when I thought the card didn't work... I'm the one that made an error, very polite, courteous
Purchased $300 of PetSmart gift cards, all were invalid and I even checked the petsmart gift card balance checker. Customer support does not exist. DON'T DO IT, IT'S NOT WORTH IT.
When I did not receive my purchased card after 2 weeks, I followed up with Raise.com and was told that based on last tracking information (which is 7 days ago), the package has arrived at the post office hub (about 20 miles to my post office) and I should receive it any day now.
3 weeks later I followed up with Raise again on my purchase, I was told that there has been no change since last tracking. At this point, both Raise rep and I knew that the package was lost.
I asked for a replacement card and was told that company can't do that. All they can is refund the purchase. However, even the package was lost, they can't refund until 30 days after purchase date. So I told the rep that I will dispute the charge with my credit card company first to avoid further delay.
30 days later, I contacted Raise to close this matter, and was told that the transaction has been under dispute, so there is nothing need to be done. However, Raise advised me that it would be better if I could cancelled the dispute and have Raise directly issue the refund, that way it won't impact my account status. I don't think it is necessary to do so, since I have disputed the charge and received my credit, I don't think we need to create more works for this matter.
However, 60 days later, I received a phone call from my credit card company's dispute center and was told that they received a reply from Raise.com. Raise indicated that they have a tracking number for the shipment, so there should be no dispute on the purchase. Raise did not mention that the package never delivered. My credit card company used the information that I received from Raise and disqualified their reply.
It's a bad taste for the the purchase. Raise, in one way asked me to cancel the dispute so they can issue the credit to my account, and turned around reply to the credit card company that my dispute is il-legit. I am glad I did the right thing by disputed the charge with my credit card company.
Lola was EXTREMELY helpful and pleasant to work with. I wish all customer service was like this! Thank you :)
Decided to try Raise after reading a good review. I purchased 3 gift cards. One card was a printable card for Victoria Secret that could be used in the store - value $150. I spent the entire amount in one visit.
Since I was now confident the cards were safe to purchase, I ordered a $300 Victoria Secret card. I shopped immediately & spent about $70 of the $300. My receipt reflected the correct balance remaining - approx $230. The very next evening, I returned to Victoria Secret to shop again. I spent hours shopping, went to the register & my transaction was declined. Cashier said my card had a zero balance.
Very bad experience! The cashier called Raise & I spoke with them while standing there panicking in the store. I have 3 other cards that should have balances remaining as well. Now I'm worried about those cards as well.
Raise was apologetic & said they will refund the amount I paid to them minus what I already spent on the Victoria Secret card because I'm in the first 100 days. Hopefully, that will happen.
My advice, if you plan to buy gift cards, is to buy small amounts $100 or $150, check the balance before you start shopping, AND SPEND EVERY PENNY THE FIRST TIME YOU SHOP! Or, your remaining balance may vanish into thin air.
Update 3/19... Raise honored their 100 day guarantee and refunded me for the bad card. My other cards with Raise have so far been fine. I remember reading somewhere that buying discounted gift cards is not for the faint of heart. If you're buying these cards, there is some risk involved no matter what company you choose to purchase from. Unfortunately, no company can completely stop dishonest people from attempting to commit fraud. SO. It is extremely important that you purchase from a company like Raise that will honor their 100 day guarantee. I will purchase from Raise again because they made good on their guarantee: 0)
However, after this experience, I will purchase smaller amounts and always make sure I am spending within the first one to two weeks of my purchase.
I first wrote to Raise on 10/12 - and didn't hear back until 10/21... but they did resolve my issue favorably once they did respond.
I feel really happy with Raise customer service. Very fast reply, fast refund if there is any problem with gift card.
Tks a lot!
Answer: I had a problem with the lowes gift cards i purchased from Raise as they did not work at lowes. It took upwards of 10 calls and over 3 months before I received my over $700 back. I will never buy anything on Raise again
Answer: People should unite and file a class action lawsuit against these guys, any attorneys reading this?
Answer: You check the balance on the business' website. For instance, if you have a McDonald's gift card, go to McDonald's website to check the card balance.
Answer: The usual issue is that someone will buy a gift card with a stolen credit card and then sell it to Raise (or others) for cash. Usually within 100 days the gift card issuer will find out when they have been charged back for the stolen card purchase, at which point they invalidate the card and zero the balance. Raise.com will refund you the unused balance on the card prior to it being zeroed out, but only within 60 days of your order. Their short protection policy limits their exposure if a high value card is invalidated and you come looking for a refund three months after you bought it. Every gift card reseller has a different policy for refunds. Some are as short as a few weeks, others last 100 days or more. Raise.com's 60 day policy is shorter than many of their competitors, which is why I don't use them much anymore. The lessons I have learned is only order cards you will use entirely within the next month, never gift them to others, and keep a spreadsheet if you order a lot of cards so you can keep track of balances. In all, I've had about 3% of the 200 cards I've ordered suddenly zeroed out. The majority were for improbably large amounts, which is why I now try and order lower value cards. One site suddenly listed 10 $100 gift cards for Jimmy Johns, a sub shop. One has to wonder who would order gift cards like this in the first place, only to put up for resale. It turned out the original buyer used a stolen credit card to buy them all and turned the proceeds into cash. The cards were all zeroed out. I have learned to be suspicious when a large number of high $ value cards in the same amount suddenly go up for sale. So while it may make sense to buy a $100 gift card for Sears, it usually isn't to buy a $100 gift card for Dunkin Donuts.
