RageOn's Competitors Just Do It Better.

TL; DR: Quality is not as good as their competitors. They also do not pay artists well, if at all. They are really sketchy and have been running around telling folks Shopify shut them down over a small issue. Turns out, they were allowing inappropriate racist stuff to be sold on their site (hence the shutdown). In addition, they are flirting with bankruptcy and are not truly transparent with their customers/artists about or how their legal issues impact them.

Part 1: Quality
I ordered three products some time ago. I ordered a t-shirt for myself from an artist shop to support them. I also ordered two additional shirts as I am an artist and I wanted to test the products. At the time, I thought the products were of good quality. But I came to find that after a year of use, the shirts began to fade and flake. Now, I have ordered AOP shirts from a variety of companies around the same time of me purchasing from RageOn as I am always looking for better products. Whelp, compared to Printful/Printify, RageOn's just doesn't have that same lasting quality.

Part 2: Payment
RageOn is simply put not paying artists who create this stuff very well despite the high prices it charges customers. Customers are charged upwards to $90 for a hoodie and you would expect the artist to take at least 30-40% of that. Nope, it's roughly 10-20% and that depends on if you're verified and/or on a payment plan.
But not only are they not paying artists enough, for some, they are not getting paid at all. There are multiple artists as of late that are still waiting for payments months after they qualified to get them. Speaking of which, you cannot cash out until 60 days after you've made $50. This is highly abnormal as most POD companies allow either immediate withdrawals or payout after 30 days.

Part 3: The Lies.
RageOn is running around telling folks that Shopify shut them down without warning. This is a lie. According to court documents (RageOn tried to get an injunction against Shopify to stop the shutdown), Shopify warned them repeatedly to remove obscene materials from the site since OCTOBER of 2020. They gave a final warning in January with the shutdown occurring in February. They are also not telling the fact that the reason for the shutdown was because of a plethora of Nazi & Proud Boy gear being sold on their site. They only showcase one instance in which they claimed wasn't hate material. This one instance was the promo of "Q". However, one look at the item in question, and one can see that the shirt was from highly controversial "Qanon".

Part 4: Copyright Issues, Lawsuits, & Potential Bankruptcy.
RageOn has been sued by the Pokemon Company (2014/2015ish) an independent photographer (Feingold v RageOn 2020) and now Atari. Two of the three cases resulted in RageOn losing do to copyright infringement. The third (Atari) resulted in a $1million judgement temporarily overturned. I say temporarily because Atari will win as they have more than proven their case according to publicly available court docs. As such, RageOn is telling courts they are on the verge of bankruptcy. They are also telling artists they cannot pay them. But they are not telling that the reason is because of their legal issues. But rather because "big tech" Shopify is taking them down.

Part 5: Silencing the Critics/Conclusion
When all of this mess started, RageOn was actively been blocking/removing commentators from their FB group, IG and FB pages of those who know and shared the information above. Now, they have gone radio silent. They claim they are working on transferring the new site to Bigcommerce. However, the issue is more than just getting a new platform. Speaking of which, nobody had any idea that a POD marketplace such as this was hosted on Shopify. All other POD competitors (Teespring, Printful, Printify, Teepublic, RedBubble, Society6, Zazzle, etc.) all have their own platforms. This is by design. Marketplaces do not belong on Shopify or Bigcommerce due to user submitted material. Thus, IF RageOn recovers, the shutdown problem will also continue.

If you read all of this, THANK YOU! Please avoid RageOn at all costs. If you are a fellow artist, and has not been paid, you may want to consider a lawsuit as RageOn did not hold up their end of the contract. If you are a customer and hasn't received your item, report it to your bank.

There is so much more I could say about this situation, but I have already made a novel.

Don't order. Go elsewhere.

"Where Did You Get That Shirt?!?"

I am constantly being asked about my shirts and it is definitely a great ice breaker for a new city. I am a long time customer of 6 years. The company has definitely come a long way. The order to delivery time used to be much longer. Also over the years the shirt itself has changed materials a few times. The originals were very cottony and hot, then at one point they were a little too thin, but I think now we are at a good spot. Its hot in Florida so I need something that doesn't show sweat. There has only been ONE time I have had a shirt not print and that was because the printing companies deemed it too offensive. (belieber justin shirt)

I have another shirt that can no longer be printed because of legal reasons. But it did make a reddit front page at one point

All in all I have a fun collection of unique shirts that all have a special meaning to me now. I love the fact we can print our own easily. Obviously just make sure you read the upload guide. I will mention that the small collar of the shirt is tricky to predict. I need to look into that.

I had a customer service issue somewhat recently. I sent them a pic and a new print of the shirt was out the door within almost 2 business days if I remember correctly.

Pleasantly Surprised - Fabulous and Spectacularly Comfortable

From reading the negative reviews on this site I was admittedly reluctant to order a shirt from RAGEON as feared it would be unclearly pixilated and produced in China or somewhere from which I would receive something that would only fit my 2 year old grandson.

The result was quite the opposite. The shirt looks fantastic from numerous comments I received at a party last week and is spectacularly comfortable. The shirt was produced by UltraBounceClothing in conjunction with RAGEON so thanks to you both.

I have ordered other cotton T-shirts online in the past from other vendors such as Creepy Tees etc and would generally pay from my recollection about $15 to $25 dollars for a plain black cotton shirt with a square box logo plastered only on the front of the shirt. The problem I had with these shirts is not that they don't have the all over front/back design I prefer but rather that the shirts themselves are highly course, rough and uncomfortable to wear. They simply sit in the closet so they may as well be used for dish rags.

I took a chance and ordered the ultra premium (with a 30% discount promo), one size larger and was rewarded with a great shirt. I prefer either long sleeve t-shirts where the sleeves can be rolled up or cutoffs. In the pics provided you can see the entire shirt and cutoff version I prefer after removing the top sleeves. RAGEON sells tanks but for some reason they are $11 more than the regular t-shirt and their long sleeve shirts are cost prohibitive for me.

I just ordered 2 more shirts (Night King ICE from GOT and what looks like something from the American Horror Show series again with a 30% discount promo) and will follow up with a post result. I was not charged for double shipping.

I cannot comment on the quality of the 2 other types (standard and premium) of shirts RAGEON offers but can only emphasize how comfortable the ultra premium version is.

I cannot comment on the customer service other than the following positive comment regarding expediency. At least the customer service has responded to the negative comments on this site instead of simply ignoring them as happens all over the web.

I ordered the shirt on 3/20/19 and received it on 3/30/19. I believe the website indicates 10 days for production and potentially another 10 days for shipping and from the complaints I read on this site I was giving it 30 days to receive the shirt so I was pleasantly surprised when I received it within 10 days of my order.

Suggestions if you decide to order are:

Look for the 30% or 25% discount as they are out there and work
Order 1 size larger than you normally take
If thinking of purchasing 2 shirts order together so you can save the duplicate shipping cost
Highly recommend the producer UltraBounceClothing
Unless you have confirmation that the other 2 types of material are similar, order the ultra premium as you will not want to take the shirt off
If you interested in the tank top version I would simply order the regular T shirt and cut off the sleeves as cheaper and I believe looks better

If only I knew then what I know now

My experience was initially great at first around purchase time, customer service was a knight in shining armor.

After being told it would take up to 10 business days for production/shipping and patiently/excitedly anticipating, it is now PAST LATE. It has now been going on TWO BUSINESS WEEKS and counting, and out of my HUGE order of over about 14-15 items, ONLY ONE ITEM (a dress) IS DONE and "in transit", where according to the tracking page is STILL IN THE SHIPPING FACILITY! Everything else I'm waiting on, according to the order update page, is still "being prepared for shipment". Some of these items are gifts... that at this rate look like they'll have to be for NEW YEARS

Customer service who was once prompt and caring in their reply, is now largely a no-show to my concerns when they're not being late in returning a response. Gee, funny thing that happens in this situation: the longer time passes and the less answers provided, the angrier a typical customer gets. I feel like a fool for having ordered now. If their things are really as good looking and as good a quality as it seems, I guess I may order again, it will really have to be THAT cute and I'd really have to want it THAT bad. If you still decide to order from here, know you'd just be better off to PLAN FOR MONTHS IN ADVANCE and know you're SOL for answers if they are late.

If I don't get any answers soon, im going to ask for a refund and if they won't help, I'm asking my cc company to help.

Am I even getting anything in the mail or did I just get several hundred dollars stolen from me? Communicate goddammit!

Update: A few of the items finally arrived (3 pairs of shoes) in the beginning of December. Then, more waiting. The bulk of my order didn't arrive UNTIL the beginning OF JANUARY. Some of these items were meant to be holiday gifts! JANUARY! I ordered in late NOVEMBER! 10 business days my $#*!! Oh, and even then the dress didn't arrive UNTIL NOW, MID-JANUARY! What's more is, the quality of image on the printed items is really hit or miss: a few of them were really great, looked just as sharp, clear and vivid as pictured on the website. But a few of them have very poor quality and/or blurred images and was not fit for gift giving, so I don't know what to do with these items now. Donate them to Goodwill? It's well past the return date, is that why they took so long to send it so that I couldn't return it? I don't know why they seem to hide the fact that they're from Poland.

Beware: their guarantees are worthless and their time estimates are absolutely meaningless. Customer service ought to change their name to "LIP SERVICE". And what you see pictured on the website DOES NOT MEAN that's what you'll get, there is a chance that the quality of image could be far less. There was a lot of stress in waiting and having to deal with lateness, but I am happy with enough of my purchase that I may come back. I'll just know from now on to not count on it to arrive anytime soon, it'll show up when it does. If you are willing to brave those same risks, good luck with your next purchase.
