Seriously, you can be as polite as possible, disagreeing with somebody, giving evidence why you disagree, if they report you there is no check, you end up being banned, it is more a playground for people who like to do high school drama, also a lot of the people selling on eBay are authenticating their own items, make of that what you will... I let them get on, the site is paid by some advertisers and has a lot of shady connections, draw your own conclusions

They Ban you and claim they warned you but didn't.
They get paid by fraudulent advertisers to put out scams( especially in the plastic surgery section) and will ban the people who challenge those who post real reviews.

Be careful. It's a platform that cannot be trusted or taken seriously. They claim they don't allow fake profiles of clinics, but will ban you if you call out the profiles- which are very obviously using the same language and fake images.

It happened not just once, but three times that I got banned for speaking the truth.

Please don't trust anything you read on there

Very pathetic of them to ban people for no reason, and the moderators clearly love to make abuse of their power. Free speech is moot, and they ban people with no warning, claiming they warned you (no you havent). You also cannot contact them whatsoever to challenge the ban. Very much gives elitist power hungry assh*oles vibes which is the only thrill they get in their pathetic life.

It is a bit absurd, people who have seriously very little clue about high end products pose as authenticators while selling items on various websites, if you point out what they missed and why the item might be real or fake, they report you as fake and you get a warning. A bit like a bullying group of mean girls, however the owners of the site get a kick back from the sites they push on you, so do not expect much realism or truth there. In case you want an infomercial pushing sites at you where the owners earn, great, otherwise, give it a miss

Tip for consumers:
Don't bother

I would actually give this nest of vipers a negative star rating if possible. It's basically a place to gossip and talk nonsense. Very unprofessional.

Tip for consumers:
Yes, a good tip, don't use this site.

I have been banned TWICE for defending people who were opposed by systems which were obviously paid and constructed (as mentioned by someone before here).
Very shady Artificial Intelligence is managing this forum, deleting comments of those who don't support their (paid) agenda etc. For example, you just cannot under any circumstance side with Meghan Markle or show prove against Lady Gaga (who is a plagiarizing fraud to authentic artists and business owners). The second time I only sided with Meghan Markle and most of my comments disappeared, when I pointed out the AI system they banned me for DRAMA LOOLLL - while they are posting only drama against Meghan Markle...but you just can't oppose whatever the royals paid to do online.
Awful and shows you that free speech is 99% dead now

Tip for consumers:
be aware that there is no free opinion here

Forum is filled with women who have no expertise and are not professional authenticators trying to one up each other on who's the most 'knowledgeable' about handbags. Disgusting, abhorrent behavior. All the women in the past who fought for women's right and equality would be rolling in their graves. They're the reason why society still don't treat women seriously and pay us less. Why treat us equally when we ourselves can't treat each other fairly and equally cat fight amongst ourselves? They do everything to backstab, cheat, and bully other women. You could post one simple, innocuous comment, and they'll tear you to shreds.

Also there are fake sellers on there who make several accounts pretending to be professional, licensed authenticators, authenticating their own fake mirror goods while making false reports of actual legitimate businesses like Fashionphile, Christie's, and Sothebys. If you believe these 'professional authenticators' over a team of vetted professionals who hand checks luxury items in publicly traded companies, you are a massive fool.

Seriously why are the purseblog founders still free, and the scammers too? I see multiple class action lawsuits brewing in the future.

I'm looking at you bababebi, Meaghan and Vlad Dusil.

Tip for consumers:
Don't trust anything they say on the purseforum. Full of fake sellers, grifters, and fake authenticators looking to make a quick buck.

A scamming buyer posted false accusations about me on this website after being exposed for being a scammer, Also this user created fake accounts posing as me to "ruin" my reputation and then I started getting harassed by several members of that forum on purely false accusations with no tangible proof.

This forum is full of pretentious ladies who will believe anything someone says with no real proof.

PS that scammer is being sued in small claims court ;)

There are probably some decent members on the forum and there is good information. However, it is controlled by a few very vindictive people who collude with the TPF owners Meg and Vlad so that if anyone questions their so-called expertise, they are banned for life. Try it and you'll see. It's all about greed and money. They have multiple identities they hide behind and have no scruples about logging in under one identity to tell you a bag is fake (with no actual credentials and no actual review explaining why), then as another bogus member you'll be directed to a legitimate seller who is selling the same "authentic" bag or coincidentally they will have one for sale. I am strictly a buyer but I've been appalled at how they viciously attack anyone who questions their so-called authority. They will bad mouth a completely innocent seller and harm their business simply because they can and to profit financially. I don't even go there anymore for basic information. Quite simply, the people in control of that forum are just a bunch of mean-spirited crooks. Google purse forum complaints and you'll see what I mean.

Don't waste your time unless you want to be abused by the authenticators. Wouldn't trust their credentials as they obviously don't have experience in customer facing roles. Don't understand why they contribute if they just want to be rude and elitist. Also no response from moderation or whoever is running the site.

If you make any small error in your post on there, or post your question in 2 different threads (since you got no response in the first thread) the authentcators will take time to be a rude power tripping troll. They will tell you that if you mess up your post again, you will be ghosted. But they don't take the time to authenticate any purses requested by people. It's a joke of a site. Don't waste your time signing up and posting on there, it will fall on rude deaf ears.

The authenticators have no experience, if you challenge the advertisers you get a ban, as fake as it can be, however I guess the owners make a ton of money from advertising and protecting shills who have been called out repeatedly. Money talks, greased wheels

It's a good resource for getting info on bags, but other than that, I would stay away from there. I've been a long-time member of tPF and go through phases where I'll actively post for a month or two, then take a year hiatus. This is mainly due to the sophomoric attitudes and bullying I have witnessed there, not to mention the incessant bickering and arguing that goes on. I swear to God these people have nothing better to do than pick fights - for instance, you'll be reading a "which bag should I get" thread... and about a page into it, they will start fighting about something completely random. I also have to say that I TOTALLY agree with the other poster here who called out members fabuleux and jellyv... they are vicious, and somehow seem to be revered for it by other members who like to hop on the a**hole bandwagon. They will receive tons of likes for rude comments. It's pretty sad. And then you also have hypocritical members on there - there seems to be a plethora of them. For instance, one member was saying how she was upset about not receiving the full packaging when she bought a purse... and another member chimes in saying "I would get over it." Welllll... it just so happens that the member who said to get over it also once complained about not getting the full packaging and actually reached out to the brand to have them mail it to her. Just super petty BS...

Purse Form members collude with certain sellers to strategically give a bad name to some online sellers while praising others. In particular, a Purse Forum self-proclaimed authenticator under the screen name Vesna has done a lot of damage to a lot of online sellers. Everyone BEWARE! A lawsuit is imminent if this continues. It will probably be a class action.

My mom was almost scammed through PurseForum after I posted pictures of a Hermes bag that the usual gaggle of "paid influencers" including Mistikat, all chimed in and confirmed that the bag was authentic. We sought a 2nd opinion that said otherwise and later the seller was banned from eBay because others reported the counterfeit bag.

Fast forward to my feedback to PurseForum. Mistikat the fraudulent and clueless authenticator deleted all my posts and reference to their mistake misauthenticating the bag. Buyers and Forum members beware that when you ask for opinion on that board, Mistikat only allows comments that pretty much promotes Hermes. The tyrant only wants comments praising and idolizing a brand even clearly when the bag in question is fake or a buyer has been deceived or ripped off.

There's that saying that goes "I learned long ago never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty and besides the pig likes it." So true on this forum. Bunch of mean girls hiding behind computer screens acting like 13 year old bullies dying to give someone a wedgie. Seriously. They have no life. And their "authenticators" are complete jokes. Please, go pay a professional. I'd be careful with Authenticate4U, they are affiliated with PurseForum (I heard that some of their so-called professionals authenticate on the forum) and they are a scam as well. They lied and told me a purse was real, when many others said fake. I found out from the actual store that it was indeed fake. They will also tell you a bag is fake when it is real. BE CAREFUL. They suck as a company and take weeks to respond to you even though paid them promptly. Very unprofessional as well. PurseForum, Authenticate4U, you'd be better off to stay away from the both of them for your insanity!

Sent in requested photos for two Louis, one has a receipt from the store in Paris, anyhow I sent photos, for separate orders. Sent me an email saying the photos were confused? HUH? Besides everyone knows Speedy Damiers come with RED LINING, Monogram Carryall brown lining, how is this confusing? If you are confused I told them I am in trouble! I give up

If people get scammed on eBay, apparently it is the buyer's fault, apparently as a buyer you have to make sure that the item somebody sells you is as described, I was totally puzzled by this until I googled and found out that a lot of the so called experts on this forum are sellers on eBay who try to protect their turf and sales. So asking a question on TPF is like asking a shop if they recommend their own goods.

I looked a bit further, apparently they also hunt sellers they see as competition and get others to report the items as fake in great numbers, and they are affiliated with several luxury resale sites, so no wonder that those sites get glowing reviews.

I treat the site with great caution

Whatever you do, do NOT go to authenticatefirst! They are a scam! 2 women from Indiana who threw together the website last year and made $69,000 for reviews that they had no clue about! They said my Louis Vuitton was fake when I bought it at LV! They are just scam artists who authentications mean nothing!

This merchant "authenticated" a pre-owned Prada bag I purchased and sent me a letter stating it was real when I knew it was a knock-off. After submitting MULTIPLE emails and additional photos, they finally agreed it was a fake handbag.

When Authenticate First found out the item was purchased from FashionPhile.com, they informed me that they could not send me a revised letter indicating that the item was counterfeit due to a "conflict of interest."

Isn't an authenticating service in business to call out merchants on the counterfeit items that they sell?

Avoid these people!

Scolded me because i asked them to authenticate a vintage Louis Vuitton wallet. I had participated in posts but apparently not enough. The authenticator took the time to write a personal scolding to me like i was a 5 year old.
