Outstanding customer service period with you every step of the way. I would recommend this product to a friend
This company advertises a software to get lost or corrupted passwords. Their program does simulates some sort of window, but in fact it does absolutely nothing. The company was supposed to refund my credit card but I have been after them for 1 month now and nothing happens. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. As an additional note: after posting this review the company suddenly woke up and replied to me and have finally refunded my money. Their excuse is that they had lost my email... ;)
Good product. Customer service can be improved. I sent an e-mail, and did not receive a response back for 6 hours, during business hours. I normally get answers within an hour, if not 30-40 minutes, from most companies.
I wanted to try out their password 5.0 software to see if it worked. It was listed at $9.95 on their website and had a 30 day 100% guarantee. It said If I was unsatisfied I would be refunded my money. I figured what the heck I have nothing to lose.
Well first of all I tried to buy it for $9.95 but pop up windows kept asking me if I wanted to upgrade for $20 more. I declined and clicked download. But when I looked on my credit card statement they still charged me $29.95. That ticked me off on top of the fact the software did absolutely nothing when I downloaded it.
So I sent an email asking for a refund. They kept sending emails saying the refund was in progress. Still no refund. I sent more emails. They sent more emails. Still no refund. Then after several emails from their office person "Mandy" and over 2 weeks later I finally got my money back on my credit card. That was after contacting the BBB and filing a complaint. I am also contacting the FTC and filing a complaint. I actually don't know if they are crooks or just a quirky type of internet business. I have read a lot of bad reviews about them. Next time I'll be more careful. Life's like a box of chocolates you never know what you're going to get. Especially online!
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy anything from them. You will be waiting a long time to get your money back. If at all.
The product works well and they provide e-mail support, prefer phone customer service, but they did respond quickly to my e-mails.
I was able to open my main user account with the program. It took a few days to install it correctly, but once I got it running, it worked as described.
I followed the instructions and I was able to find my old Vista login. I really appreciate the time they spent with me on the telephone. I needed help, as it was not as easy to use as I had hoped.
Everything worked well, but took a while to download. I needed some help and appreciate that they got back to me quite quickly. The program worked as expected and it's good to have on hand in case I ever need it again.
Tried signing in as administrator and it worked. I was using latest version of windows and the program installed easily, but I needed to re-download it a few times which took extra time.

Down loaded (for 39.99) software as I forgot my log in windows 7 (Administrator) password that I changed a few hours ago. Does not work. No help over week ends

The program was pretty easy to use, although I also wanted to run it on my Mac and it only runs on windows. I was hoping I would be able to run it on both my computers. I will have to find another program for Mac, but for Windows it worked well.
The program was functional and worked well. Installation took some time and I had to restart my computer before being able to run the program, but once it started, I was able to get it working.
When I tried to access the software, the computer required my login to install. I had to copy the program to a USB drive and restart, and then I was able to get everything to work.
The program worked, I found the login. I had to restart my computer before I could run the program, not a big deal, as long as I got it to work.
I am still awaiting a firm response to my troulble report. I; have received three automated responses but no resolve. It also appears that I may have double paid for the recovery software.
Follow up to my reveiw of Prosoft Password Recovery Software. I reported earlier this week that it does not work. And it doesn't.
But, their customer service department did respond promptly and processed a refund.
Like to be fair, give thumbs down to the product but thumbs up to service.
