I bought a dress for a ball and it was promptly shipped also the dress arrived in a box and they carefully package my dress. I have no complaints whatsoever, I'm very satisfied with my order. I buy formal dresses all the time and this is buy far the best shipping/packing experience I have ever had. Henris formal dresses company, shipped my $400 dress in a bag, so I'm definitely buying from this company again.
Return policy is not clearly expressed prior to ordering. Refunds are not accepted and you are held captive to return business via store credit or lose your money outright. Shame on you Promgirl for taking advantage of the online buyer How is one supposed to know what an online dress will look like in person, but it doesn't matter because you already have my money. In this new world of online shopping, this practice is Absolutely wrong and deceitful.

I paid for two day shipping as my daughter would need the dress altered to a much smaller size. The customer service agent was snarky, non helpful and rude.
She offered NO solutions and I felt that she took pleasure in cutting the conversation to a halt.
All of the positives of this company and experience are countered when the dress doesnt arrive when expected and customer service is rude and non-helpful.
I hope that this was a one time experience that ended with me.
I was very happy with the dress I ordered for my daughter. It fit well and looked nice. When I placed the order, I just wanted regular mail and instead after the order had been processed, it said the dress was being shipped priory and charged me $15! That was a third of what the dress cost and I was very disappointed because I didn't select that shipping. The dance was a month away so we didn't need to have priority shipping. I used your company so I could save money and ended up spending what it would have cost at a store! I would like my shipping money back or at least a credit to use in the future. I would like to use your company again but not if I can't get the shipping how I want it and compensated for the company's mistake!
Unfortunately the only method available for shipping to a PO box location is the Priority Mail option for $15. This amount is displayed during the checkout and the total cost of the order can be viewed before it is submitted. The money from the shipping cannot be refunded because it is provided to USPS for the shipment of the dress. We apologize for any misunderstanding!
The dress is lovely and fits my daughter perfect. Just wish the beading would stop falling off. She loves the dress so we will keep it.

The dress fits my 511 daughter perfectly in both the body and the length. It is very flattering and very pretty. I could not, however, get the zipper open to take the dress off of the hanger for her to try it on. After struggling to open the zipper while the dress was on the hanger, I have yet to get it completely zipped while she has it on as I am afraid the zipper will break before she even wears it for the first time.
The dress we received came in a damaged box covered in dust. When we took the dress out there were loose beads in the box, as well as falling off as my daughter tried it on. When I talked with customers service they were fast to refund without letting me explain. My daughter loved the dress despite my dislike. We wanted to exchange for another but they wouldn't because the refund was already entered. As long as they refund me my money minus their fee all will be okay and I will order a new dress. But if I get met with issues I will be filing a bigger complaint. Customer Service needs to be more accommodating to the customers complaint. And not fast to put in for a refund. Thank you Tammie

My dress is gorgeous and looks amazing. But they definitely could've done better. The lace on the dress is the worst material I've ever seen, it's so cheap and tacky. Same with the zipper. Like I get so much anxiety zipping it up and down because I'm scared it'll rip. Also the sizes need to be fixed. Someone who is extra small & has a 24" waist will most likely not be blessed with a 33" bust and 37" hips? Like it's pretty idealistic. The top of my dress is completely covered in lace detailing so I cannot properly get it tightened because it will ruin the design. Either they should have more realistic sizes or let you put in Your measurements.
Some of the jewels were off and need to be sewn back on. Not something I wanted to pay extra for. Should have been sewn on much better.

Ordered a dress, did not fit, was able to send back but thought the 10% restock fee and $8 to print the label was kind of deceiving since they play up their return policy. I don't think there should be a restock fee if it is clear it wasn't worn and just did not fit. So I lost $30 on the transaction. I think we are DONE shopping for dresses online. My daughter used their chart, but the dress was way too big.
My daughter has Down Syndrome and she is going to prom. I am going to take my chance and order the dress she wants from here. Why? Thlnk about it, if this is such a bad store then why does the lady the represents them answer issues that customers are having? Compared to other prom dress sites we found the best prices here at this site. Was very excited we received the dress really fast. The only complaint I have is the dress jewels on top are plastic and they look cheap I was thinking it was going to be a little bit better quality
Brought for daughter's prom. Arrived in good time but now I have to sew poppers, hooks and eyes back on. They were there but have come off already when trying dress on. I know these are minor but when you have spent a considerable amount of money and then import tax in U. K. You would hope it was perfect.
I originally wrote a raving review about the price and how quickly I received the dress. It wasn't until last night when I actually had to wear the dress that I discovered that this was a poorly made dress. First, the zipper got stuck in the material and it was extremely hard to get it out. However, after getting the zipper up, when I pulled the dress up under each arm, the right side ripped. This was a destination wedding and it happened 5 minutes before the shuttle arrived at our hotel to pick us up. I tried to make due with the dress for the rest of the night--however, I was extremely disappointed.
Halfway through the night my strap completely ripped off and I was half naked for the rest of the night. Loved it otherwise though!
I have a military ball to go to on the 26th of this month & was going to buy from here but after reading the reviews i will pass. Its to short of a time to have mistakes that i read just can't chance it but the dresses are really pretty on the site.

The dress is beautiful, and the quality is pretty great. I'm usually a size 14 and I entered in my measurements and it advised me to get a size 20. I decided that was a little ridiculous, and I got an 18. It was still huge, but there isn't enough time to send it back, so I'll just have to get it altered. Again, nothing wrong with the dress, just the sizing guide!
I ordered my prom dress from promgirl 2 months ago and received it only yesterday, the expected shipping date went from the next day (when I first ordered it) to being delayed 5 times with no explain action. Other than that no issues, the dress came in perfect. It was exactly like I tried it on in a different dress store, and was a real jovani dress.

The sizing was super off, i went to other stores and i know im a size 6. When i got the dress, it was super small on the top. I have to send it back and get a bigger size.
In regards to size, you will need to compare your measurements to the size chart provided from the designer for each dress as the sizing can vary. You must consider your body type and the style of the dress. The size chart will highlight where each measurement falls on the chart but it is merely a guide to assist you in selecting the size that is best. Sometimes a dress might need alterations for the perfect fit!
First of all, I love the dress. I had to get it taken in, but the material is really nice and it looks reasonably expensive. I bought it in burgundy, and unfortunately there was no colour option of it in burgundy, but it was pretty similar to what I thought it would be. However, I'm from NZ and didn't realise the price wasn't in NZD, (as it doesn't say USD next to the price). Therefore, I ended up paying way more than I anticipated, and also an extra $200 in customs as it was international and had a price over $400. Moral of the story, triple check the price, and know exactly what you're paying before you click order.
Note to potential buyers: You are taking a HUGE risk when you buy a dress from this website. I bought the Strapless Short Multi-Color Animal Print Dress for $34. I didn't buy it for any specific event; I stumbled upon it online and fell in love with the design. After reading all the negative reviews, I was very hesitant to make a purchase. However at that price, I figured I might as well take the risk. I bought it on a Tuesday and it shipped out ground on Wednesday. I didn't receive an email informing me it was shipped, so I would advise you to check the order status page periodically. Furthermore, their system only updates tracking information in the evening so if you don't see it right away then fear not. The item shipped from their warehouse in NJ to my house a three hour drive away and arrived the next day. I was pleased at how fast it arrived and that the dress was beautiful and in great shape (looked exactly like the photo). I would recommend ordering larger than you think you need, as I'm very petite (size 0) and the size 3 fit like a glove. From what other reviewers have been saying, I would not recommend ordering an expensive dress from this site as if they mess up, the loss is much higher. If you have to make a return, buyer beware, they charge a restocking fee and you pay for shipping. And there are no guarantees you will receive a credit (their customer service doesn't sound very bright). So you might as well resell the dress or find another use for it. This might sound a little silly considering the name of the website, but I would highly suggest not ordering a dress you will need for a time sensitive event such as prom. From personal experience, it is much better to go to your local dress boutique where your exact measurements will be taken and you get to see the quality of the dress ahead of time. Plus they truly value your business and want to make you happy. I gave them three stars because although the dress is fantastic, I stressed over whether they would actually ship it in the time they promised (or even altogether) and I don't agree with their business practices, notably their treatment of returns (have never heard of charging your customers for returning a product they may not have worked for various factors out of customer control).
