I bought a dress for a ball and it was promptly shipped also the dress arrived in a box and they carefully package my dress. I have no complaints whatsoever, I'm very satisfied with my order. I buy formal dresses all the time and this is buy far the best shipping/packing experience I have ever had. Henris formal dresses company, shipped my $400 dress in a bag, so I'm definitely buying from this company again.
Return policy is not clearly expressed prior to ordering. Refunds are not accepted and you are held captive to return business via store credit or lose your money outright. Shame on you Promgirl for taking advantage of the online buyer How is one supposed to know what an online dress will look like in person, but it doesn't matter because you already have my money. In this new world of online shopping, this practice is Absolutely wrong and deceitful.
I just recieved my daughters prom dress. Delivery was fast but shipping was $70. The dress was $299 but because of exchange (I live in Canada) it ended up costing $534. The dress sizing was way off. Ordered a medium and it fit like a xs. We followd all size guides and suggestions. When taking a look over it I found a rip. Now to return it for refund o have to pay shipping AGAIN. Otherwise the dress is very heavy and gorgeous
Disappointed I sent one dress back because it was too small and ordered a larger size.
I got store credit instead of even exchange. Feel I should have gotten my money back and not store credit. Sizes definitely run small.

My dress got there, after three weeks.(Norway) It was beautiful but the quality was bad. But the biggest problem was that they made my dress cost 80$ more than the actual price(!), because they ordered a private shipping car to my town. And my dad e-mailed them and in the start they would not admit they did anything wrong. Later they admited it after some couple of e-mails.
I do not recommend this page at all. Well at least I'm not gonna buy from Promgirl again!
I'm disappointed in my experience with PromGirl.com. We ordered a dress, and it arrived early. It fit, but it was not well made. We returned it, aware of the restocking fee, but I was charged more than a restocking fee with no explanation. I suspect it was for shipping, but I don't recall seeing that I was responsible for that fee either. All in all, it was an expensive way to try on a dress. We ultimately ended up at Nordstrom's Rack for a significantly cheaper and better made dress.

Before buying the dress I looked at the return policy on the website. On the home page there is a section at the top called "We accept return" and when you click on this section a small pop up window appears. The window provides all the information about the return policy EXCPET THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT WHICH IS THE 7 DAY RMA REQUEST! I'll admit I should have researched this further, but I'm very disappointed as it seems deceptive on the company's part to not link you directly to the returns policy website from the home page.

I am very disappointed with Prom Girl and the lack of leniency they have shown during these difficult times! We ordered two dresses in March that we needed for a wedding next month (June). We get told this month that the wedding has now been cancelled so I email CS to see if there is any way we can return the dresses for store credit as they have been sitting in the closet untouched and unworn. I explained how we didn't see the wedding cancellation coming from back in March or April and if there was any mercy on their part with their return policy during these difficult times. They were not helpful at all with our situation even though they said they would do their best to help during these difficult times. We paid over $500 and now that money is going to waste! I was told dresses bought in February or March were too far out to return but this was right before Coronavirus got bad and we were unaware of what was to come. Extremely disappointed and will not be buying dresses from them anymore with these absurd return policies.
Be assured that due to corona virus, we made numerous exceptions however; we cannot accept items that were delivered over 60 days ago.

Estimated delivery dates on website are FAR from accurate. My original order said the dress would ship in February. Since we've been burned in the past with dresses being out of stock when we went to order, we placed our order. A February delivery would have given us plenty of time to make sure this was "the dress" The dress actually arrived shortly before Christmas. We should have looked closely right away, but didn't given the holidays. When we called in January to see if we could exchange for a more expensive dress on their site, we were treated curtly and rudely. A 7 day return policy for a dress shipped two months early and during the holidays is ridiculous. And we weren't asking for a refund - we were actually asking to spend more money! Customer service doesn't know what service means. No flexibility in any of their policies. If you know exactly what you want and have tried it on somewhere else, then maybe. Otherwise, go elsewhere.
According to your order the dress was originally scheduled to ship from the designer and stated "Due to Ship: Feb 24,2016" when the order was placed. The dress was available sooner and shipped to arrive on 12/10/2015! WARNING. Bought dress. Returned it. Used credit for new dress. Loved it and kept it. Contacted PromGirl.com to return our remaining balance. They said not they don't do that we get an $11.00 credit. And just exactly what are we to do with another dress. Are you kidding me. As is we followed their dress must be returned in 5 days rules that they were very clear about BUT no where on the site did it say they will not return the remaining balance. WARNING
I received the dress after a week, the quality wasn't good it didn't even looked the same as the photo, i asked for RA and no one got back to me, waste of time and money, left me with stress
Bought a $300 homecoming dress for my daughter. I've never spent that much money on a prom dress, let alone a homecoming dress! However, the picture on the website was very cute, so I made an exception. It is still a very cute dress, but for $300, we expected much more. The material is cotton and has a waffle-like pattern to it, making it seem casual. That doesn't show in the picture at all. We expected a fabric that would present in a more formal way. Also, for $300, I feel like the company should have faster shipping without having to pay extra. I paid for standard shipping and it took 9 days to arrive. Over all, I feel like I paid about $150-200 more than what this dress is actually worth.

When I was on the live chat and needed help, the customer service agents seemed to not want to deal with me. I was being an average customer, very respectful, all I needed was help finding a dress. When I said I may need some more help the response was, "Wonderful."

We bought my daughters prom dress from this site. The dress fit true to the size chart and matched how it appeared on-line. My daughter tried it on and we loved it. We had a little trouble with getting the zipper up when she tried it on and when it was time to take it off we could not unzip it. The zipper was not stuck it was a bad zipper. We ended up having to rip the zipper to get her out (no damage to the dress.) you could tell the zipper was bad. I called Promgirl and was treated poorly. I was very surprised. In order for a full refund I would have to submit photo (which I could provide) and they would be taken in from of a committe to determined if a full or partial refund was allowed. I spent $250 on the dress and had prom in a little under three wks. I was told it would not happened within that time frame. Terrible customer service! I will NOT be buying a nother dress from this site. Which is too bad because the dress itself is beautiful and I loved it on my daughter.
I usually wear a size medium and from any other clothing website I've ordered from medium fits me just fine. I decided to order a large this time, just to be absolutely sure the dress would fit. The dress turned out to be TOO SMALL. And the material was way too thin and cheap feeling.

The zipper sticks on this dress and it cuts into my daughter's skin in some places. Yet, if we purchased the bigger size, it would be too big. The neckline is way to small which is an unusual place for something not to fit.
My dress wasn't as nice as it was supposed to be, nor did it fit according to the size chart. I was (supposedly) in between an 8 and 10, and I went down even though you're supposed to go up, and it was still huge. Never again ordering a dress offline.

Never again. I'm having to pay for a complete take apart and remake because of poor quality. Omg I'm furious with this company. Beware people don't buy crappy quality. They refunded me 20%-25% after arguing with them about it. I couldn't have them ship me another because of timing issue and I was concerned I would end up with another crappy item. Ridiculous how much I'm spending because this company has poor quality items.

I ordered a simple yet elegant dress that I thought would look absolutely amazing on methought wrong. I tried it in the day I got it and it looked like I put on a curtain and called it a day. The zipper barely wanted to close and when it did my breasts felt like they were going to break the entire thing. I sent it for a refund and have yet to hear back.

I ordered a dress and it came a few days later. The color was much darker, and even a different shade, than how it was pictured online. The fit was very awkward and the material was kind of cheap. I went to return it and there is a bunch of hidden fees and I ended up losing almost $24 just to return a dress I didn't like. Wouldn't recommend using this site.

I ordered a dress from this site for my 8th grade dance. The color was described as champagne and in the photo available online looked to be a very elegant color. The dress arrived today and the color is nothing like it looks online. It is a very unpleasant ugly beige. It seems very dumb to make customers pay a restocking fee for a company fault. And also $8 dollars UNTOP of the that. It is never the customers fault for ordering a product that looks nothing like the real life thing.

I ordered one dress for my daughter in a size 8 (she is usually a 6) and the 8 didn't fit. We returned that dress, paid shipping and a restocking fee. She ordered another dress in a size 10 and it was too big. We returned that dress and paid shipping and restocking fees. In the future I wont buy from here as I lost a lot of money from my returns, I will order from somewhere with free returns and no restocking fees...

I spent $100 on a prom dress that came with a broken zipper and a hole in the back. By the time I got the dress to my house, it was too late to return it. So I had to go and spend $125 to fix all of the problems with it. Im pissed off that PromGirl would even send me a dress with all of these problems, especially when I paid $100 for it.
I got this dress and it was super pretty but when I went to put it on a strap broke and then it didn't fit. I have really broad shoulders so the dress doesn't fit around my ribs. If you have broad shoulders and a wide chest either get a size up or don't get this dress.
