I have used this site for many years and it seems the companies they are promoting are going down hill fast. They are now promoting a company called PC Parts Unlimited which has good pricing but they do not even provide the manuals with the products they sell. I spent $60.00 on a motherboard I can not use because I have no idea how to connect it to the front panel
A long time ago they were ok. Then they messed with seller fees. Making only companies selling expensive or scammers. The whole while the website functionality collapsed. Most of the time it seems to be down.
I would stay away as good chance their site has a virus due to their aparrent level of computer knowledge
This is a great resource that will help you find the least expensive computer part, camera, or other electronics part you might need. It also has ratings of sellers of product so that you can read before you buy. A great site. I use the site regularly when I want to price items for Ebay, or when I really need that part that I can't find anywhere else.
We used to post prices on Pricewatch. And stopped due to excessive fees to sellers. They wanted per click, and most of the clicks were from spammers click bait or auto clickers in viruses. Our last month, we reviewed the "clicks" and we had supposed interest in some items we never sold. ( like 1,000 clicks on an item new in a box we were the lowest price on?) We never had any customer complaints. A long time ago, ( 1995 - 2000 timeframe) it was great,, But when they began charging excessive fees, and they were arrogant with getting new customers for some unknown reason. One of my suppliers wanted to list with pw, and pw ignored their email applications. Currently they appear to only have 10 stores and most of them are only selling 1 to 10 items. Really- The "Microsoft store " only has one item?
Now when looking at it, I think it is owned by new egg or allhdd since I see 95% of ads are theirs and most seem to be over priced items..
Well, I've shopped at this website for years for computer hardware. It is a collection of all kinds of sellers competing in one place, along with seller ratings, and almost always having the best price for computer hardware. The prices are in a very well formatted and shopping takes very little time because all the information you need is quickly and conviniently available. Ebay occasionally has the lucky auction, but pricewatch can't be beat with their prices the rest of the time because of the competition there.
This company covers for the bad conduct of its members that offers computer parts for sale on pricewatch.com website.
Answer: They have been like this for 20 years. Keep in mind they charge by per click. And your items will get a lot of clicks, but not by any customers, just auto clicking bots. = $0.00 for you income, but $1,000 or more per month, = negative return on investment.
