“Christian Prayer Site”

Kerry M.
11/23/20

This interdenominational website gives Christians opportunity to post prayer and be prayed for. Some are spiritually mature and some are growing. It's really nice. I'm surprised that anyone couldn't see this. Nobody pressures you for a donation because it's optional.

“This website is a wolf in sheeps clothing”

I was an active member of this website. I truly cared about people and prayed for them. There were plenty of times that only 1 or 2 people pray for others. People are have been banned for the most silliest things. If you don't agree with someone there is a backlash and you could be banned. A coupled of weeks ago there was a problem between two women on the site over a thank you leaderboard. It was a contest on how many thanks you were giving for the day. One of the woman started a feud with the other one and accused her of cheating on the leaderboard and changing the numbers of thanks in order to stay in first place. I got an email message from the one doing the accusing asking for prayers and said what the other woman was doing - hence- causing a division and wanting people to take sides. She also posted it on the prayer site as a prayer. The other woman did not do anything. Because of this feud- in which the admin knew days before hand there was a problem and he did nothing about it- started banning people. He posted a public post of shame and said that these set of people have been banned indefinitely and told people not to be foolish like the group of people he had banned- it was 17 people who were banned over that silly leaderboard and the one who started the feud remains on the site as of today. I was one of the ones who was banned over something that was so dumb and UNGODLY to begin with. The admin had a responsibility as the owner/ admin of that prayer site to defuse the situation before it got to the point it did and he had a responsibility to protect others from that feud and he choose to ignore it and turn a blind eye. The site says its free to sign up and its free to post. But its not free to close your account out. You have to pay a fee in order to close your account out and you have to pay fees if you want changes made to your account. If you do decide to close your account out- you are considered banned and the only way you can come back and re open your account is if you pay for that service. You cannot temporarily close your account out without being banned. I personally was attacked on the site and that person was trying to get banned so he didn't have to pay the fee and was using profanity to get kicked off- he has not been banned. The admin picks and chooses as he sees fit to kick people off the site.

Tip for consumers:
Be careful of what you post on this site and who you talk to.

This website says, "free to join and post", but then asks for money to close your account but doesn't allow anyone to delete their posts.

There is also NO WAY to contact the administrator or owner of the website personally.

They also say they keep all of your personal information indefinitely, including your IP address, email, birthday, and all posts made by your account.

This website feels like a fishing site and a government tracking site. I would warn all people to NEVER SIGN UP ON THIS WEBSITE OR POSTS ANYTHING ON IT EVER!

This website claims to be a religious, caring website that allows patrons to pray for each other.
The second you disagree with them, they threaten to ban you.
And if you leave the site states that you are requesting to be banned. Once you agree the site says" Your account has now been closed and you have been banned as you requested. "
I had asked a very simple question. I had a link on my signature to a website that had helped me with scriptural information about restoration of marriages. They banned the signature. I didn't have a link just the name of the site. They banned it.
So I asked the administrator why, I wasn't looking for a fight. Just explanation, I thought maybe they had a resource for the restoration of marriages.
The explanation I got back was that people spam that site and that they end up getting divorces because they meet people on that site. I NEVER met a person on that site other than women ministers (I am female)
The administrator also said that if spoke of it again I would be banned. I am not interested in a site that claims to help you, puts PRAYER on their site name and then uses scare tactics to make people do what they want. I wasn't looking for any kind of contention and that is what I got, I simply wanted to know if they had other resources for marriage restoration.

I have been a patreon of PrayerRequest for 5 years ministering some prayers and personaliized post to others.to inspire them. It's OK, but it is outdated in its design so you would take in a site not so glossy as others modern-day pages. But don't let that discourage you from trying it out anyway. Hear me out. The members will post their prayer requests sometimes only once and others times regulars all the time, so you can help pray for them with post. You can click to send an auto-reply you can customize in your profile, so like other prayers sites, it is like the older version of the prayer counter button. But iif you are someone who wishes to help people, you can put in your eloquence on the Bible to reach out to others for a real touch. You may not interact with others on the forums since they only let you post Christian posts. You can however send each other PMs or post on their Profile Pages for conversations, if you're lucky to pick one up to say hey. But I haven't had many talks with people, running it as a missionary work so it may turn off a few people who wish to feel closeness than a kind of job. Be aware that its website may block your email since the admins told me Domains blacklisted them in the past mistakenly, so you could lose your old account. You may not reset your password or verify. Just keep your account safe or re-register, they said it's OK for you since they are sorry that they hadn't been able to bring up a solution to the Domains yet. Overall, it's allright if you want to do some missionary work online, check out a few friends if you can, and boy they come fast like every 10 minutes a new request. :)

Good site for prayers. I don't know why this site has a minimum character requirement but it means I probably won't usevitbagain
