I ordered a crib and mattress from Pottery Barn (see image). Then, a week or two later I went to check the status since I needed it to be delivered by this weekend only to find out it was canceled (see second image). I called customer service, which directed me to another number - *******113 - so I called the second number. The woman that answered the second number was rude, talked over me, and basically said "too bad order it again." However, when I ordered it there was a sale and now there's not. Now If I were to order it, it would cost more. Never doing business with Pottery Barn again.
Horrible experience worst customer service. I do not advise ordering online because if you have to deal with their customer service it's a nightmare. Supervisor doesn't even want to speak to their customers, so basically useless at their job.
I ordered an everywhere chair a month and a half ago. I still don't have it. Christmas is over thank you. Customer Service lies to you every time you call and tells you it's coming. I must of called them 4x. I will never order anything from them again. Beware, order a year in advance maybe you might get it. Worst company ever. Would never recommend them.

A link was sent to me for a registry of a baby shower. We were unable to attend so we thought this was a convenient way to send a gift. We paid the $6 extra for gift wrapping. A week later a package arrived at my door, not the recipient of the gift. I called and Pottery Barn said, oh, you can send that back and we'll get it to the registered person. While on the call I opened the box and, surprise, it's not even wrapped! You charged $6, know it's a registry, so go figure, I would have never known. Poor way to run a business. Cannot trust them.
Absolutely terrible. Sent us wrong item, then when we returned it, charged us THIRTY dollars as a "restock" fee. If I had known there was a restock fee of half the value, I would've tried to sell the item on facebook marketplace or something
I have been trying to receive information about a crib/mattress/toddler conversion set that has been backordered for the past 2 months. No one returns my calls in the customer service department. I've been told that the crib has been sitting in a distribution center for weeks but cannot be shipped because the mattress is backordered. They will not split the order up for delivery and I am not allowed to cancel the mattress portion of my order. My credit card has been charged for the full purchase price. I will not order from this company again!
I ordered a bassinet that never showed by it's promised date. I called 3 different times and was promised it would show and it's in stock. After my baby was born I called again and they totally didn't have the item in stock. I could've ordered from any other major furniture store and would've had very different service.
I purchased two kids chairs from pottery barn for Christmas gifts for my grandkids. On Christmas day my daughter and her family lost their home in a fire. They lost everything including all the children's toys. It was horrible. I called all the companies I did business with to replace just what I purchased. They all help or sent a new item in its place. Pottery barn told me they wouldn't help because I purchased them in August. I'm sure others can relate that also start shopping early because it gets expensive. I also have pictures of the children opening them up on Christmas.
They dismissed me and said they would not help or give me a discount to replace. Very sad that a company this size has no empathy. I will no longer shop with them in the future for my other grandchildren that I may have in the future. I will replace what I need by doing it myself with material from Michael's craft store. Think twice before you buy. No one knows what may happen in the future.
Beware when ordering a personalized lunch bag. I was very excited to send my nephew a personalized Star Wars lunch bag. My sister sent me a photo of the lunch bag and the Star Wars overlaps my nephew's name. You can't read either because of the horrible overlap. Who completed the embroidery? Whoever made that kind of decision should be evaluated. Why not grab a different lunch bag if you know the two emblems will overlap? Ridiculous.
Buyer be aware! Bought the complete bedding set for my daughter. The pintuck is coming loose from fabric and hanging. I called Pottery Barn since my daughter has only had it on her bed for a month and a half. They will not replace it since it is more than 30 days! Very disappointing. Very poor quality!
Ordered 2 twin beds because website said they were in stock for quick ship. Said would be delivered in 2-4 weeks. It has been 4 weeks and now it website says another 2-5 Weeks. If website advertises it is in stock and ready to ship that should be the case. No help calling customer service.
I have ordered from pottery barn for years and been satisfied with what I purchased. However I noticed they offer percentages off or free shipping and without codes and when you purchase the items they do not add the percentages off or free shipping. I ordered 2 large pictures for Christmas they wereally almost $700.00. I did not receive until after Christmas and only after I complained. Now I ordered the seagrass headboard with matching coffee table and luggage stands. Again should have been free shipping. I complained and they Said they could not help because it was limited deal, I told them I checked that same day and still no response. OK. With the Internet I can find what I want without pottery barn. They have cheated me in the last but when it comes to over! 100.00 in shipping I am thru with that store and site.
I'm sure other stores has better service than they have shown to me.
Worst customer service, they take your money and do not care if the order is completed. You can not speak to anyone who can give you answers and they always say we will put in a request but they will not give you an idea on when it will be resolved. This is the second order that they have not completed, but never again!
I spent the big bucks on the Chelsea play kitchen for my grandkids thinking it would last and be passed down in the family. Well it lasted only a year before the front of the sink broke off. Turns out it's made of cheap mdf board tacked together with tiny nails. We tried glueing it but it didn't hold up to a 2 year olds play. Customer service was useless calling it normal wear and tear. Save your money and buy a kidcraft. This company doesn't back their overpriced kids toys.
I had ordered The Charlie 4in 1 crib (and Dresser which was delivered but damaged) over 60 days ago after massive delays and several phone calls and broken promised of expected delivery dates I have yet to receive my baby's crib. It has caused a severe amount of stress and headaches. PB Kids needs to step their game up and rush order with their vendors or not sell items they don't have in stock! This is suppose to be a special moment in my life the joys of setting up and decorating my sons nursery and all it has been is delays and nightmares! I have contacted the corporate office to speak to someone but unfortunately its only a voicemail. There is no representative to assist. Go Figure!
I will never buy anything from your company again!

My daughter wanted a ski outfit for her American girl doll and I saw one from pottery barn kids and fell in love with it. So I ordered 2, one for her and the 2nd one for her cousin as a Christmas gift. I wish I would have never did and could have bought the one from American girl, since it has lots of good reviews. This was the worst outfit I have ever bought for 18" doll. As soon as we opened it the parts for the ski boots started to fall off. And unfortunately you can not even write a review for their product.
I have ordered personalized Abigail Jewelry Boxes for every one of my 7 granddaughters. They're incredibly overpriced for the quality you receive, but it's hard to change a tradition I began many years ago, tonight's experience may force me to.
A couple months ago, I ordered another box, but it arrived with terrible overspray on it from the monogramming process. They acknowledged there was a problem with that service, and reluctantly agreed to replace it. When I received the second shipment, I opened it and found the monogramming corrected, so I put it away for her birthday. Tonight, after she unwrapped it, we discovered that now the windup music doesn't work! I called AGAIN. They refused to replace this box saying it was outside their accepted time period. So, now I have a beautifully monogrammed 'musical' jewelry box WITHOUT music to gift my granddaughter on her 1st birthday.
They granted me a minor 15% discount if I would re-place the order, but of course Im expected to pay shipping, tax and surcharges all over again, making this small jewelry box cost over $100. I feel completely robbed!
Poor quality and service for a company that charges premium prices. Buyer BEWARE! :/
I would love to see this place go out of business. Nice stuff, but WAY overpriced. Which I wouldn't mind if there was a pottery barn within at least 30 miles of my home. Because I'm not paying a ludacrous $30 shipping and "processing fee". Then they have "20% off + Free Shipping" which doesn't work because of course "exclusions apply" and you can't find a damn thing it actually works for. Maybe the shipping is so expensive because no one is actually stupid enough to buy from this place online. I'm annoyed because I actually like the product and am willing to pay, but the shipping and processing cost is outrageous.
I ordered the oversized kid chair in light lavender with a monogram. There were no instructions in the box so I watched you tube videos 4 times. First of all this chair was $262.00 with shipping charges. I think I paid more for the chair because I wanted the light lavender. The chair was a nightmare to put together and the wrinkles in the cover never smoothed out. I read somewhere(after the fact) that you could put the cover in the dryer with a wet towel to help get rid of the wrinkles. The quality of this chair is a big disappointment. When I give it to my daughter-in-law for my granddaughter I'll see what she wants to do. I complained to customer service and they told me I could return it. This would be a big production. The flimsy box that it came is is huge. I'm sorry I'm having trouble adding a photo so you would be able to see how the slipcover does not fit properly!
Ordered bedding in July and each month for three months I have received an email that the item is still backordered with pushed back shipping dates. Finally spoke with a rep who said I shouldn't expect the items for another three months. Cancelled the order. This isn't the first time this has happened to me and I'm not sure why Pottery Barn is allowed to sell items they cannot deliver. Unreliable company.
Answer: Hi Vicki: We are so sorry to hear about your recent experience when you inquired about your order. Please email our elevated team at support@potterybarnkids.com and we can then reach out you directly. Thank you.
Answer: It's not possible. Buy from somewhere else. These people are useles
Answer: Both! They sale items that they do not have in stock and have no idea when or if the items will be back ordered. Impossible to get a refund.
