After much research and worrying about spending $4,000 on slipcovered couches, I ordered two couches from PB in late January. They told me late February was the delivery window. I received them this past weekend, two weeks earlier than expected. During this time I received updates regarding delivery and instructions via text and phone. The couches arrived in perfect condition. I've only had them one week, but so far, so good. The one thing I did do was due diligence regarding size, material, construction. I am truly puzzled by the low review ratings. Could it be regional differences? I live Williamsburg, VA. After this experience I would definitely order from PB again. Just for clarity, I am not affiliated with PB or Williams Sonoma!
I purchased a king-sized classic down duvet insert from Pottery Barn, which unfortunately turned out to be defective -- the box stitching did not connect properly at the centers, and I didn't notice before I put it in my duvet cover. As a result, over time, the feathers inside the duvet shifted significantly, accumulating at the bottom and leaving other areas under-filled. This has made the duvet useless. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue with Pottery Barn's customer service, including providing detailed evidence of the defect, I was not offered a refund or a replacement for the insert. This experience has been very disappointing, as it contradicts the high-quality standard and customer service I expected based on their marketing. Buyer beware: if a defect is not immediately apparent, you will not receive support or resolution from Pottery Barn.
I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the Pottery Barn Social Media Customer Service Team reached out to me. They are working to resolve this issue in a very satisfactory manner. Their attention and follow-up has been great. My Rep deserves 5 stars but I only gave this review 4 because Pottery Barn needs to do more front line training to avoid customers getting to the point of posting bad reviews.
I have purchased many items from Pottery Barn and in the past (2015- early 2016) any issues were handled quickly and effectively. Unfortunately my latest delivery/customer service experience has been ridiculous. On 7/21/17 I had a large order delivered to my home. The delivery men were very pleasant. After they left I realized that the front corner of my sectional was sliced (probably occurred when they were cutting off the shipping wrap). I immediately called the concierge service with whom I had been working with for this order. I sent pictures/email as requested. Since that day Pottery Barn has NEVER contacted me- I have reached out to Pottery Barn 6 times since my initial report. On the 4th call I also reported that one of the back pillows on my PB comfort sectional was coming apart and again I sent photos. During my last call (8/23/17) I spoke to Michael in your Delivery "QUALITY TEAM" and he assured me that he would be in touch in a couple days. He also stated that the sectional would not simply be swapped out/replaced (as I was previously told) but repaired instead. He stated that the repair team would pick up the piece of sectional, repair it at their shop and return it at a later date. Which means no sofa to sit on and another day off from work to wait for a delivery. Today is 9/6/17 and NO ONE has contacted me- RIDICULOUS!
Essentially a one-stop shop to fill your Calgary tourist souvenir heart's desire! It's a big store with a big inventory in an even bigger city!
I love browsing Pottery Barn because the furniture and accessories are so beautiful and tasteful. But I can almost never afford to buy any of it! Guess it's time for me to get a new job XD
Gave me Pottery Barn old four stars just for the fact that they have gotten very very pricey over the past few years. However they only sell very high-quality items I never skimp on quilts blankets and other types of linens because once again they will last you forever.
My boy loves this place, lost of cool kids bedroom products, very well displayed and organised. The prices are high but you get what you pay for.
Hi Jed,
I certainly appreciate your choosing to shop with us at Pottery Barn Kids.
I thank you for the kudos!

I ordered the Pb comfort sofa with a cotton linen blend slip cover( c class) which the sales woman said was gorgeous... NOT! The slip cover doesn't fit on one side( too big) and the back pillows don't have enough stuffing to fill out the slip cover. The total effect looks like something on sale at Walmart! The sales woman talked me out of down wrapped. Go figure and the cushions feel like boards :( I'm soo disappointed and am waiting for an arm chair and an occasional chair. Uh Ohhh. :( I am worried I've sunk a lot of money into inferior quality furniture. I called immediately and was put on hold for 1/2 hr then given a number to call for international sales and told to call next business day.
This place is great, I have been going here for my home deco for years! Living room, Bedroom, Bathroom, any room you need, they have the hookup! Anything for Kitchen should go to their affiliate Williams-Sonoma they have all the best gadgets and even food! I can't get enough of these people, customer service is great too! Just wish there were more stores in my neck of the woods!
I purchased the Catalina Twin-over-Twin bunk bed for my son as a Christmas gift. I placed the order on December 2. My estimated delivery window was Dec. 9 - Dec. 23. As Christmas neared, I called Pottery Barn (PB) for an update and they said I should expect a call either Dec. 24 or Dec. 26. I received no call. On Dec. 30, I called back and spoke with a woman named Jodi. She assured me PB would straighten this out, apologized, and told me someone should have already called me to set up my delivery. Jodi went ahead and scheduled the delivery for Jan. 3. My wife rearranged her schedule to be home for the 9 AM to 11 AM delivery. Nobody ever came in spite of the fact the Track Your Delivery' link in the email said the delivery person at one point was 10 minutes away from our house.
Having heard nothing, at 2:30 PM my wife called to inquire. She was told they were missing a piece and would not be coming. This was completely unprofessional on the part of PB. My wife waited 3.5 hours past the end of the delivery window when all along PB was never planning on coming and never bothered to let us know. Days went by without hearing about rescheduling so I reached back out to Jodi via email. Jodi said the PB system showed the product had been delivered on Jan. 3 (the day they never came!). When I informed her it hadn't actually been delivered, she told me to stand by and somebody would call me. Of course, nobody called me.
On Jan. 8 I called back and was told my delivery wouldn't happen until later in the month because a piece was still missing. I asked to speak to a supervisor about a refund. Of course no supervisor ever called me, but PB set another delivery date of Jan. 11. PB finally delivered the product on Jan. 11 nearly three weeks after the last day in the original estimated delivery window. I reached back out to Jodi requesting a full refund. SHE TOLD ME POTTERY BARN WOULD GIVE ME A FULL REFUND. On Jan. 27, PB refunded me $640.39 of the original $1,067.86 purchase price. I again reached back out to Jodi about why I was not given my full refund, and she never was able to give me an answer.
I eventually called PB back again on Feb. 14 and demanded to speak with a supervisor. For the first time in this entire saga and despite repeated requests to do so I was finally able to speak with a supervisor, Courtney **. She asked me to send her the email correspondence with Jodi in which Jodi promised me a full refund. I did so. I never got a response and had to send Courtney multiple emails over the course of two weeks before she finally responded that Jodi made a mistake in extending to me a full refund, thus PB would not honor the full refund promised to me by one of its employees. Rather than bending over backwards to make things right (like any reputable company would have done by now), PB decided to tell me that it will not stand by representations made to its customers. Its word means nothing.
My wife and I have spent countless hours either on the phone, conversing over email with PB and its employees, or waiting for a delivery that never came. Every single employee that touched our purchase should be reprimanded and retrained on every aspect of their job. All I asked for was a full refund one we were absolutely entitled to AND promised by Pottery Barn. Even if we get a full refund, the amount of time taken away from our jobs dealing with this mess would mean we would have still lost money on this experience. It is time for some accountability at Pottery Barn.
It may have been just an isolated case, but it took us almost a year to get a "faulty finished table" replaced. There were lots of poor communications that took place. We love are table, chairs and stools that we purchased. We have many other Pottery Barn items in our home.
Pottery Barn offers home furnishings, tableware, barware, and furniture. They are often on the crest of the shopping wave, but prices are a bit high for the quality. Quality varies depending on the items.
Bought some star wars bedding for our son, instore, and it was a great experience, and even after several washes the design held up well.
Buy from you people is like buy from wish coming true land. Everything i want is available with you. Thanks alot
They have very pretty items and I love most of them. I just find them more expensive than it should be. But overall, they are great!
It is expensive, yes, but it's well worth it. I would always opt for something more expensive and then have it for years and years than some cheap stuff that will be gone within a year.
I have found better deals on line at other places. Not bad, just not very economical.
Em pretty much satisfied with the services you provided. Thank you
This store is my favorite. They have truly best customer services.
PotteryBarn is good. I have mixed experience with it. But i am sure they will make it excellent in future.
I love this place! I used to laugh on friends when the weird girl hated pottery barn and her roommate filled their house with the pottery barn catalog... Now I know why girl #2 couldn't resist! All the stuff this place sells is amazing! Great quality, very comfortable and durable. The one thing that costs them a star is the crap-shoot with furniture shipping. I ordered a new bed and a custom sofa last year the week before Halloween, the website, the receipt, and the lady who called to confirm my custom order right when I placed the order all confirmed that the item would be here around Dec 18th. I was so stoked to get things before the new year. Didn't happen =\ The delivery finally arrived at the end of January of this year, over a month late. While they were more than accommodating credit-wise, I just felt very off-put that they were so well in contact the day of ordering, but come Dec 15th, 20th, 30, Jan 15th, etc... no calls... Every step of the way I had to hassle the company for updates. That system needs improvement, but if you aren't ordering big furniture, no complaints.
Lovely and worth trying for any buyer. I have tried it once
