I have used Postmates a few times now and so glad they exist! They helped me out when there was no time, we had to quarantine, when I forgot to buy the cake and they got it for me last minute. Always caring, professional and on time. I can't thank the Postmates delivery people enough for the job they do. Thank you!
I spent a lot of money with Postmates, but after about a year, 2 different credit cards got stolen. My card were used in 2 different states, within 90 days. I had to cancel those cards. Once I quit using Postmates the credit card fraud stopped. They are thieves. Stay away from them.

I am a fleet driver for Postmates. Yes we are underpaid but that's what good delivery service comes in for tips. I've never cropped or had food ruined by my driving. I always go over the order when I receive it and if the receipt is correct. I lay out a sanitized Mat so I don't have to put the food on the floor with the new social distancing rules. I sanitize after every order and my mat I lay down. I know all delivery services are different with drivers. Some of us take pride In our services and try to make a smooth delivery for all parties.
So I actually shadowed my gf who just started this job. Looks like the company pays right so far. The customers though just like with any tipping job don't seem to know what a tip is. This is for all you cheap losers who have given a 1 star. Life isn't free. If you use a service to continue to keep sitting around your house your gonna pay a premium. Learn to tip! You won't get a nicer person than my girlfriend you cheap skates! Your not being ripped off!
Order and got my good in 10 Mins. Thanks to ErinnH Annapolis Maryland. The easiest order system ever. Thanks to postmate nd the driver my good was hot and perfect. WILL ORDER AGAIN USEING THIS SYSTEM
I was starving! I just got into town on biz in LA and got lucky and found my fave restaurant " jussepie's from back home in NY. My guy Randy Z texted me when got there. Even said it smelled so good he wanted to open up the order but said he put it in his truck so he wouldn't be tempted! I cracked up! When he got to my Hotel he had this really awesome dog in his convertible that greeted me with affection! He opened the trunk, I got my food and he said " enjoy, it's a pleasure! Will definitely recommend and order again!
GO POSTMATES!
My dad's debit card was used fraudulently at this and other food sites. Postmates did a quick investigation and determined it was fraud and refunded his money. (Grubhub refused to provide a refund after they determined it was fraud)
My experience with Postmates has been really really good. Sure, they should fix the menu typos on their site... I mean, sometimes they misspell really hard words like ' Pizza " haha. They also have hidden fees so you have to know how to work the system. Look for the deals on there and stuck with the Postmates partners when ordering, otherwise extra fees galore. Do not get their unlimited because unless you are ordering for a family every time - you have to hit a 20. Min instead of a 12. Min. Ask for your order to be left by your door- it's just way easier. Customer service has really been good to be for the most part.
Postmates is a legit food delivery service!
They also have the best customer service!
I highly recommend ordering with Postmates!
Hope this was helpful!

Because my experience was awesome! The app is super convenient and easy to use. There is guidance given in the app so you can start using it right away.
I had a personal shopping request which is harder and more time-consuming for Postmates shoppers to do. I had to hand-write my list and explain exactly what I wanted.
The Postmates driver I got, Alba in Silicon Valley, was awesome!
Super fast and got EVERYTHING RIGHT! She not only made the Postmates ETA she had a smile on her face when she arrived.
That has been my 1 and only experience so far. I will definitely try them again. The price was fair considering it was a personal shopping request.
Late night shift at a hospital- ordered locally and it was smooth, app worked perfectly and came here faster than the stated time! Not sure why so many have had issues, I hope they keep up the good work!
So far I've use postmate yesterday twice because I was hungover and didn't feel like leaving house. I was satisfied. Then today I used it again after I took a nap woke up at 9pm. I like the fact that I don't have to drive/gas to get food. I got $100 promo delivery credits to try them out and it's worth it. So far no issue with them and will continue to use them
Postmates was great! They took my order, sent it to the restaurant, picked it up and delivered in a timely manor. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks guys!
Tried Postmates one week free delivery offer and it was great, but we decided not to extend
Because we wouldn't use it enough, forgot to tell them. They charged my account $95. I called them, explained my position and they refunded my money. Couldn't ask for more.
I suggest you give them a try but follow the rules yourself and hold off on screaming insults
And threats.
Tip for consumers:
Treat them as you would like to be treated.

You people who are on here crying about postmates are ridiculous. Postmates drivers are paid less than hourly minimum wage and you're complaing about your delivery fee being too high?! How about you leave the house and go do your own food shopping! The nerve of some of you. You give postmates your huge list of groceries then 95% of the time you don't even tip your delivery person. Cheap! Lazy! Some of these orders take over an hour, upwards of two hours to complete and you complain about the $6-$9 delivery charge, then don't tip. If you expect someone else to do your weekly food shopping you better be prepared to pay that person a decent wage. Ffs!
DO NOT ORDER FROM POSTMATES. THEY STEAL YOUR INFORMATION AND SIGN YOU UP FOR SPAM TO MAKE YOU MISS BANK ALERTS.
Gotta love them. The driver's have family's they have lives,, don't bite the hand that's feeding you.
It's simple really. TIP YOUR POSTMATE WELL. And I mean well! First of all, we have your food in our hands, unsupervised, from point A to point B. Soooo... uuummm. Yea. It would be wise to realize that.
We don't get paid for parking and parking is always tough. We are subject to tickets with every pickup and drop off. Imagine the stress of that.
Not tipping your Postmate is the same as not tipping your server in a restaurant only worse because we have expenses, including a ton of wear and tear on our vehicle.
This service is not the same idea as tipping the pizza or Chinese delivery guy from the joint down the street. Those days are gone. This is an elite service, treat it as such and you'll be treated the same in exchange.
Second, it's not uncommon to get the same Postmate more than once. We remember. We remember you and/or the address and what you tipped. Trust me on this.
If you don't tip, next time your food could mysteriously not make it to you. I have never done this but have been very tempted to when I'm hungry and I know I'm going to a place that hasn't tipped before. We're not in it for the food, we're in it for the money. We much prefer to have a good tip than eat your food. I
I have talked to Postmates that have no qualms about taking the food when they feel disgruntled. This trickles down to Postmates management, unfortunately, and lands on the customer if you get a certain Postmate that feels justified.
Postmates (as with Lyft and Uber and all these companies that are of this new way of doing business) do not put any stock into moral practices one way or another.
They really don't have our back when it comes down to it so we have the same type of complaints as you do, on our side of the coin.
The only reason I haven't taken food is because I have a strict moral and karmic code with myself. I know it's simply not worth it in the end. That $#*! always boomerangs back. Because trust me when I say, I could totally justify it with all the $#*!ty tippers and/or entitled rude people I have encountered.
That's another thing, you are no better or worse than us, so get off your high horses. Just like it says a lot about your character in how you treat your server, the same holds true here.
Also, as a side note, if any restaurants are reading this, this goes for you too. I can't tell you how many places I used to love and frequent often that I have crossed off my list since doing this side gig.
I will never patron them again simply due to how they treat Postmates. It's mind blowing to me. I was a customer much longer and more often than I ever was a Postmate with these places. It's interesting to see their true colors.
Humans can be $#*!ty and it makes us want to lash out. So why don't we just be kind and honor one another? I promise we will have a better experience with one another if we do.
Like with anything, there is an opportunity here to act and respond differently. Speaking for myself, and a lot of creatives and entrepreneurs I know that depend on this kind of work nowadays, the freedom and access to instant cash keeps us in it (although Postmates needs to work on the "instant" factor).
For the customer, (and I'm a customer too) it's not cheap and when you decide to do it, you want a 5-star experience. Anything less is very upsetting. It's not cheap.
So with that, we can take care of each other. Think of it as the honor system, of sorts. We police ourselves when it comes to your food and overall experience to make it what you want and deserve it to be. And with that, you honor us in the same. Be kind and tip.
There will always be a bad seed to this code; historically speaking, there always is. They will weed themnselves out and will have to endure their own $#*!ty energy when it comes back around, and it always does.
If the majority are doing right by one another then it enviably creates a tribe effect. Let's create that.
It may seem like it's only Postmates and a small thing, but I assure you, it counts in a bigger way than is often realized.
THINGS TO KNOW THAT YOU MAY NOT KNOW: we often have to place the order when we get there and wait for it. It's important to realize that.
If Postmates quotes you a time and it ends up taking longer, that is not on us. The only way this works for us is if we get it to you as soon as possible and move on to the next one.
We lose money when it's not ready, or we have to order it when we get there. Do not penalize us for this.
The wait times are literally compensated with pennies. It's so not worth it. To do order and wait for your food is 100% out of service. The only way we are compensated is if you tip for that.
If you don't, then of course you're going to encounter the aforementioned disgruntled person next time around. Or if they are really $#*!ty, they still know where you live. That is always is in the back of mind as a customer.
If you can pre-order and prepay, you will get it faster.
Fast-food drive-thrus are the worse. It costs you the less but us the absoulte most. Please balance that out by tipping.
If you live in a compliated building where there are parking limitations, long hallways, elevators and twists and turns, it takes longer to get it to you. Also, it's tiring to do it over and over. Please compesate for that as well.
Thank you for reading. I hope it helps to make your future Postmate experinces more pleasant.
