I feel like I need to write a review for Port Forward. It took me a while to decide to buy their software because I wasn't sure if it would work for me. Now that I've got it, I'm super happy with it. I use it often on my TP-Link and it works great for my needs. I did have to get Allen to add support, but after a couple of message back and forth he got it working.
My ASUS router isn't supported by Network Utilities and they won't refund my $60 after guaranteeing that they support all ASUS routers, They say they need proof and want me jump through hoops when it's clearly not in the list of routers they support! DON"T buy from PortForward.com they are a SCAM

Had to run the software twice, making sure I had all the correct variables plugged into the correct places and my passwords set correctly, but it works! I've been try for week's to get this done correctly to no avail, and finally took the plunge and paid the $40 for the software. Seeing that I have nearly $1,000 invested into my current setup AND pay $100 monthly for fiber optic connection, I wanted it setup proper... and they certainly have delivered.
Jason (I assume the same Jason that comments on here) really worked hard to get my ps4 working. I've been trying to get the mythical "nat type 2" for months and these guys finally figured it out. It seems some of the reviews here are from people who just don't understand. All I know is that for me I got the help I needed. Highly recommended.

I purchased PFConfig and ran into a little trouble trying to configure it to work for my router but I was in very good capable hands with the support help team. They were prompt to act with simple instructions and if I found it hard to comprehend they were there to do it for me. It's nice to use a programme that's backed by a dedicated team giving you 110% support that care about each customer using there software They are very polite and genuine. Jason was really great to work with. I have an 8 camera setup on my from Costco installed on my vacation home and I couldn't figure out how to access it from my main home. After some fiddling around with remote access Jason was able to get me viewing the cameras just fine.
I'm not sure why there are bad reviews on here. I think some people are just not happy if they don't get instant gratification. I haven't had customer support like this in a long time so my thanks go out to the port forward team.
I've been trying to get my security cameras setup for weeks with no success. I need to access them from home, but they are at work behind my router. There's no way to get around the router without a port forward, but I just couldn't figure out the right settings. Jason was able to figure it out and connect me to all 3 cameras. I'm blown away at the amount of time he spent on my setup and his dedication to getting it to work.
I needed to try potential solutions for using a static IP address for database access. Although I ended up not using this product, the support answered all my questions and helped me determine if their product was a good fit for me or not. In the end we decided it wasn't and they refunded my money no problem.

I went and bought the program cause it is an easy tool to optimize your online connection in video games and such. At first it didn't work for me but the tech support guy helped me find a solution when i basically gave up. He helped me optimize my two routers so that i can open any port that i need. He was kind and knew his way around the routers/modems. I suggest this program to anyone trying to open his port cause it is easy to get around the program and if you don't know how to, you get the support you need from the developer.
I can't say enough about Jason B. He rescued a pretty tough situation for me and never gave up. I had an older router that I was trying to get two cameras functional on and it took some time but viola - it's great and thanks to Jason.:-)
Professional. Courteous. Friendly. Those are just a few adjectives to describe Tedie. I was hesitant to allow access to my computer, but, my fears were unfounded as i could see what was going on. The cost for support is well worth the quality of service. The program works as advertised and if it doesn't, they will get it to work well. Although tipping is optional, Tedie definitely deserves one. So hang tight Tedie, a tip will be forthcoming!

Have struggled for a while with a series of routers that are now sold to the domestic market with proprietary firmware and just don't do what they're supposed to do when attempting to manually configure forwarding ports.
May I say that your utility must do something that my manual config didn't do. Weird. As I have input the same settings as the utility but could not get it to work on this series of routers.?

I had issues in the beginning with my router version that wasn't supported. They got support for it and I'm so happy that they were able to fix my issue. Please give them time to help you out before you give them negative feedback they will do everything in your power to help. I'm a customer for life. IT took quite a long time, but today Tedie finally found a solution for my rare and complicated modem. I really very much appreciate his tenacity and patience. It took several weeks (and I was on holiday for a couple of them) and a few attempts but I have nothing but praise for Portforward's help. Everyone has been really pleasant too - which is not a given at all in a lot of online and download circles. Thanks again. Two thumbs up!

I've been trying for a while to get my Xbox One to get open nat. It turns out I had 2 routers and didn't know it, but the support guys tedie and allen figured it out. Once they got that little nugget sorted out it was a snap. Thanks for sticking with me guys, it was a real learning experience.
I'm not sure the software quality, but tech support guy works very well.
In my case, my network structure is a bit complexed but they gave me great advice and finally I could make it. So I think it worth to buy full software for their good supports.
By the way, screen share support is funny, I like it :)
I wanted to play Call of Duty with my friends but I kept getting booted out of the lobby. Someone suggested this software and I tried it and it worked. All I had to do was forward Xbox One and I was able to join the game.

Well, it took some time to find the solution but PFC found the problem and my ports are open now. My CompTIA A+ technician level didn't help me at all this time. When i think of the long list of routers worldwide with and endless list of configurations, it's not too much to say that the PFC support is more than worth the price of the software. But let me tell you one important thing: the PFC guys need a few days of time to solve your problem, as they are hard working human beings and not magicians! I can recommend the PFC port forwarding software 100%, great job and all very smooth and simple to handle. Thanks!
