Help yourself have a better life experience and stay away from the Popeyes location at 4232 W Central Ave, Wichita, Ks.Thier service is terrible to say the least.

Specifically, on 02/13/2025 at 11:04am, I ordered online 2 chicken sandwiches, 4 piece boneless kids meal. It was supposed to be ready for pickup at 11:12AM. I arrived at 11:13AM, went into the store, and told them who I was and why I was there. Please note that there was another customer at the counter who they waited on before even BEGINING to pick my order. This other customer completed their transaction and left. I'm still waiting for them to finish picking my order. So much for the order to be ready by 11:12AM. Then they told me that they don't have bottled water, only cups. My kids meal, ordering off POPEYES ONLINE MENU clearly states BOTTLED WATER. I'm not going to give my child a cup of water that can so easily be spilled. I suggested to then to skip the water and add s chicken strip or two. I was told 'they don't do that.' I am sooo frustrated by this point (about 11:29AM) I told them to forget the whole uncompleted, unpicked order and left. I came home and immediately placed an online complaint with Popeyes. The ONLY response I have received from them so far is a questionnaire asking if 'Jessica P' was helpful with my complaint. What the heck? I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING from Popeyes regarding my issue and I don't know who the heck is 'Jessica P'. That pretty much sums up why I am here today. One more thing - I have NOT received a refund to my CC yet either. Today is 10 days after this event.

Just protect yourself and STAY AWAY FROM POPEYES LOCATED AT 4232 W CENTRAL AVE, WICHITA, KS.

Total zero, as is customer service of this company WTF, I said Popeys's is a $#*!in LOSER, do not go this establishment

I went to the Popeye's Chicken on Cobb Parkway store #*******, order #39, but I can't recall whether the cashier # was displayed on the receipt for just under $20. I ordered 2 different combos: a four piece and a two piece, each with a drink for which I was charged $.70 extra for each one (Extra $1.40) even though they were to be included with the combo! When I reached the pickup window and complained, I was told they didn't have the drink that came with the combo. I told the employee that fact should have been told to me and I should not bear the expense of what they didn't have as they advertised. That I shouldn't be charged because they ran short of what they advertised as included, and any substitution that would have to be charged should have been passed by me first before they charged me; that it was not right to charge me extra without my consent. But there was no offer to refund my money at all. The problem didn't end there.

When I got home with my orders there was only one order separated into two boxes! When I called to complain I was asked for my "access code"! I had no clue what that should be, and I had no information to enter, and the call was disconnected. I called another number from online (I think they were the same) and the same thing happened. I'm so fed up with dealing with these fast-food places with the non-working numbers; help that are lazy or tired or overworked and underpaid, or simply don't give a hoot what kind of service they provide. I don't know what the real issue is except very poor help! The only bright spot I can relay is after I drove the 3 miles back to complain, I was met by a manager who was very empathetic.

He dropped his head onto his hand in disbelief when he saw that my order (the second order) was nothing but a cold bag of fries and heard what had occurred. The fries which I returned I know wasn't even mine to begin with! They had been included with my son's order as a second side which he had not even ordered. My order had simply been left off entirely except for the drink! The manager did his best to rectify the situation in order to make the customer happy. He did, and my hat is off to him only, for having to deal with such an incompetent staff and doing his best to keep his customers happy and coming back! I wonder who hired the employee as it seems there is a daylight and dark difference between management and employee.

The Chicken Nuggets that I have ever had because the did not have any Chicken in them! DISGUSTED!

I didn't want to write this review, This not good vs bad"This is all bad with evil mixed in it. With tears I gotta do this so I can save a teenage.My daughter 16yrs old 11grade A student asked me day to day can she work after a month of asking I said ok you can work part time if your grades drop job ends! Popeyes Chicken hired her If you could've seen this kid Lol, You would think they told her she will be paid 30 dollars a minute! Thats how happy she glowed about working! 2nd day at work my daughter tells me mom can you stop by my job and tell that man to stop staring at me, I told her hell yes I will come to speak with him! I told her tell her manager my daughter said mom I did tell my manager, I went to Popeyes stood inline just to check things out my daughter didn't see me I didn't want her to see me either. Had she seen me she would start smiling and waving after I get my order I set where I can see everything my daughter head still down buttering biscuits, I seen a male work walk up to her right side I don't know what he saying to her, But she didn't look up her mouth never open to talk she use head motions saying no shaking her side to side, This man walks off to the back, After a hour pass I see my daughter walk up to her manager her manager looks at the watch on her arm and say something to my daughter my daughter lips said yes ok thank you, My daughter walks to the coat rack as she walks over the man walks up front by dish washer guy they both turns around smiling at my child like hungry dogs! One say bye little cutie other old dog said later sexy! My daughter looking down never looked up never said a word never smiled she walks out the front door, So it's her time to get off it was 7:00pm I stop by after work round 5:30pm She is gone so I walk up to the front ask to speak to the manager and I told her what my daughter said the manager said he just playing with her that's my uncle he want touch your daughter I told manager I'am telling you that man your uncle don't need to talk to my child or look at her like a piece of meat! I said he 45 yrs old my child 16 years old. She not no wild child she still a young girl all the way around! I asked her what if this was your child? So manager then tells me she will talk to her uncle then I told her about both men and what I seen with my own two eyes, Manager tells me I will talk to them both manager said also I told your daughter they just playing with her when she came in my office to report him. Well now 2wks pass I ask my daughter everyday before work and after work is everything ok how you feel? My daughter said my manager cut my hours I get 2 days a week and every weekend to work! I told my daughter baby girl you don't need to work I understand you want your own money and to save your own money in your bank account but sometimes it's not going to be worth it! Know when to walk away! My daughter told me mom you now I don't party so she not making me miss anything they feel I will get mad about my weekend but they don't know I be home on weekends or my friends come over to my house. I asked her have them man did or said anything to her? She told me no mom they don't talk or speak or look my way unless they look and I don't see them, I told my daughter if they you call or come immediately. All this happened a few weeks ago! This the nightmare that change our lives My daughter had to clean bathrooms at closing time, She was in the bathroom cleaning and the manager uncle walked into the bathroom held my daughter down as she yelled stop help me, the man told my child $#*! yell again yo mom will not know what happened to you are your body, My child trying to kick hit push him off of her this lowlife hurt my daughter bad! Once he was done she say he laughed walking to out the bathroom my daughter set on that floor she said and crying afraid! My daughter got up then told her manager what just happened to her! The manager told my child it's closing time go home and she will check this early in the morning! My daughter needs treatment bad! After I called corporate office 3days later manager calls me saying bring my daughter with me to have a meeting, Once we get to the meeting it's in the front lobby where all workers can see us and customers to, Manager asked my daughter what happened? My child told her what happened then manager asked my daughter did she report any of this to the manager that worked that night my daughter told her I told her the same night! Right then I asked manager is she ok with me recording meeting for our safety she said she didn't care, Then the manager looks at my daughter and say well you did have a customer complaint that night they say you gave them the wrong order! I stop the manager I told wait wait hold on let's just stop I told her my daughter in tears telling you what happened to her and you talking bout customers and food! Manager said well what am saying is she terminated at this point! Hold on I said my daughter only been here 2wks few days 3weeks if told not even 30-90 days and she being fired terminated her employment? I said to the manager nice still claim but angry and holding it all in I say you fired my daughter but your uncle still working here at he here now and working! The manager said I have no more talk am done talking if y'all like to call district manager I asked her for the district manager phone number she told me call corporate office again they will have that phone number then she walked off! I have it all on video recording! I did call corp. back they said give name and number he will call you back, Wow! So I wait 4 days no call yet! I get home my daughter ask me mom can you pick up my paycheck tomorrow I told her yes I sure will cause I knew my child was in fear of this man! So I call asked the manager can I pick up my daughter paycheck manager said yes she have one here, Less then 5sec. Phone ring it's Manager she said bring her work uniform with you when come get her check I said yes ok, Now still I haven't been ugly or rude trying not to explode! I also have that on video! I stop by to pick up her pay check this manager gives me 3 pay checks and I was like what's going on here, So I walk to the car thinking like wait so I walk back in with my phone on record and I told the manager I need to ask you about these checks and I'am only recording for our safety manager laugh looks at other manager then say o your daughter haven't been picking up her checks Popeyes get paid every Friday! I said ok and walked out feeling like you low life dog you could've told her hey You have a check in my office! But instead you let her work for free stacking up checks that will expire! That's how happy my daughter was on that job she didn't once complain about her money! But why did you not offer her check to her! Cops even said this man has a long criminal record how can Popeyes hire him then hide they hands! Do you know Popeyes district manager waited 2-3wks to call me and my daughter to a meeting! At this time I trying to save my daughter she not eating bones showing ran out of class one day cause her male teacher walked up to help her she said the closer he got she couldn't breathe! Popeyes lift her Traumatized without any help! When we got to this meeting district and region manager was there guy stood up to greet us soon as his hand reached out my daughter jumped to me I told him please don't do that she fear all men now, So we set down he asked her to recall what happened and did she tell her manager same question over again but yet no help form Popeyes! After this meeting I told both managers if they need anything anything at all call me don't call my daughter phone for any reason call me and I gave my phone number they gave me a card with their name and number we left, 4 days later my daughter come running to my bedroom saying he trying to help that evil worker to get me! I got the phone saying hello hello hello he hung up the phone so I call back no respon I get the card he gave me in meeting match them side by side yes regional director called her after I said don't this is what I said don't call her! Call me! So I email no response text him no response! My daughter loved her dance team loved singing has a beautiful voice love sports but all of it is gone she stay in her room or in laying on me school and back home now late or leave early she never did this ever! My insurance want pay for her counseling so I had to pay it! This Christmas is the only Christmas my 3 kids didn't get any gifts I explain to the boys why I had no extra money for Christmas this time I do my best to raise them right both my sons told me it's ok mom we want our sister to get better and back to who self! Being a single mother is hard but this makes it die hard please please stand with my daughter and me to stop Popeyes Chicken! They trying to sweep this under the rug! How many other guys this man did this to? The Manager uncle so I know my daughter not the first but Lord knows it's got to be the last! This is not ok and this is not my daughter fault she did nothing wrong!
