I love Pluto! I have been paying for cable TV for decades because I'm a TV addict and I didn't think I could survive without 150 channels. But over the years my cable bill has gone up up up, there are so many commercials I forget what I was watching, and most of the time I checked every channel I had and found absolutely nothing of interest. With Pluto, not only is it free but the movies are not 'edited for content and to run in the time allotted.' Nothing is bleeped out or cut out, the movies are shown in their original state. I always find something to watch; classic TV shows are my favorite. There's a wide variety of decent movies, good documentaries, and the ads are minimal. Wasaaay less than with cable, which I was paying for. Canceled cable months ago and don't miss it one bit. To be fair, I do pay for Hulu, but with free Pluto and small price for Hulu, we're saving $70 a month and I always have something to watch.

Watching on my laptop with hdmi cable into the TV
Beyond glitchy. Constantly skipping episodes out of order. Constantly freezing. Episodes will begin 75% into the show. Again its free but clearly nothing I would ever be willing pay for. Watching the same commercials over and over and constantly having to close and restart. Reminds me of the technology back in the 80s... least it's free. Think of it as a free car that only breaks down about 75% of the time. But its free

The stations. Always freeze up and the video and sound do not match up, happens all the time and not just at my location, happens in several locations, and loss of the video feed that goes to a screen that just shows Pluto with some sicadelick screen. But it's free

Repeat ads
January 30, 2020

Watching back to back and endless commercials about the Hardrock cafe drives me frequently to pay channels. Watching the same commercials back to back and on numerous channels simultaneously is torture. At least on pay channels the commercials are varied. I will NEVER visit the Hardrock cafe solely because of those repeat, repeat, repeat ads is mental torture. Great way to break a prisoner to make him talk!

When you watch it it used to go right to the next episode now they play this horrible music with shooting colors the commercials are fine get rid of the horrible intermission music n shooting colors go right to the next episode like you used to I wouldn't mind a commercial in between but that intermission music got to go play on

I tried this on my Laptop. Every click of the mouse triggered 6 commercials. Change channels 6 ads, change volume 6 ads Look at the program guide 6 ads click on a show for a preview 6 ads click to watch the show 6 ads. From turning on the TV to the first scene of your show you will be forced to watch 24-30 ads. 100% of the content can be found for free.

The shows, all free elsewhere, are unwatchable due to the ads. They run at least 5 times more ads than any other network.

Not worth the trouble

I tried it. At first it seems okay but then it starts messing up. It freezes up, it reloads for no reason, it bounces you back to earlier in the show and when you try to advance back to where you were it makes you watch endless commercials. I will pause it to make dinner and come back to find it just started playing again all on it owns, so I have to back it up to where I paused it and again I am hit with tons of commercials. I end up taking forever to watch a short show or movie and end up being forced to watch way more commercials then I would on regular TV.

Commercials.

Makes you rewatch the commercials even if you are trying to get back to the place the night before. In other words, If i shut down to go to sleep at 30 minutes into the movie in and return the next evening, I have to rewatch the same stuff to get to the 30 minutes where i left off..

A commercial almost every 3 mins or less.
What a $#*!ing joke.
Not to mention it's same damn commercials over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. See just like that.
Deleting this bull$#*! app.
T. V. Service might be free but the $#*!s behind the scenes are getting filthy rich driving the common man crazy with continuos ads.

It has a great mix of content that runs almost continously. Shows are grouped by menus (Comedy, Reality TV, Classic TV, Kid's, etc.) for easier searching. Classic tv shows (the Beverly Hillbillies), reality TV (Hell's Kitchen, Survivor), comedy shows (Tosh. O) and even mma content like Bellator and poker events are all here. My only problem is sometimes it takes forever to start up, it continually buffers for minutes at a time and I get frusterated. But for a free program it's fantastic.

The variety of channels are good, the movie selection are good, the news channels are almost entirely left wing/ socialist propaganda. The ads are also left wing propaganda. The subject matter is mostly for millennials and hippie culture.

App sucks!

Pluto TV need to get it together, whenever a show comes on sometimes it starts all back over, its continually loading and if you turn the channel and put it back on to what you were watching it takes you almost back to the beginning of the show, also I know this is a free app but they need to upgrade to new live shows instead of stuff being played over and over again, i hate this app!

Last month I subscribed to Pluto and they said I had 7 free days and I can cancel and I wouldn't b charged. Surprise they charged me the 25 dollars. I called and the lady said once they charge me they don't give refunds. This company is a scam and liars. I would rather pay another company more money then to ever give this lying thieving company a penny for all the tv the have. I disabled and on a fixed income and this was a huge problem for me since I ordered another streaming company who cost more but I am very happy with. I got DIRECTV stream and Hulu for 1 price and I love. Pluto will steal from you so run as fast as you can. I know 25 dollars isn't a lot of money but it is to me. Ordered 1 day canceled either the same day or the next didn't try to watch it after I cancel then they stole from me a disabled American they don't care about ppl they just care about stealing as much as the can

Worse ever

Can't watch or take anymore of it. Worse ever. Tried watching a movie. It kept jumping back to the beginning or the middle over and over. Could not get through the entire movie. When I traced back to where it jumped back from it would go straight to commericals.
Out of the 1 hour I watched 30 minutes were commerical. My time is far to important to waste trying to get through a simple movie. I wish I could give it a zero rating but that's not available. It is offical uninstalled forever. Bye, bye.

Ridiculous

Pluto TV started as a decent free streaming service, but things are just ridiculous at this point. I understand they have certain restrictions on how many episodes of shows they have, but why is it that for shows like Steve Wilkos or Dr. Phil, hell even COPS, we get the same circulation of about 40 episodes in a constant loop? Shows that have HUNDREDS of episodes reduced to the same ones day in and day out. Not to mention the commercials. In the last month especially, they have been pumping the Facebook regulations twice, EVERY COMMERCIAL BREAK, no matter the channel you are on. Last but not least, none of the channels match up to their time slots. More often than not, at the end of the episode, you have the blank Pluto waiting screen for the last five minutes because they don't know how to broadcast their catalog. Ridiculous!

This app maybe the worse movie app I've used. I been watching this movie that's only 1hour and 45mins for 2:30 mins. It keep exiting out the movie starting the commercials over just to take me back to the 20 min mark. I thought I was tripping at first but it is the app. I will be undownloading this app off my tv just as fast as I added it. Need to fix bugs. Worse streaming app ever.

I was watching something on Pluto that was about 2 hours long. After about 75 minutes I had to leave and came back to watch the next night.
Not only would it not resume from where I stopped watching, even when it did ask if I wanted to resume, it started from the beginning. Then, instead of being able to fast forward to where I left off, you can only FF to where the next ad break is. So FF past 13 minutes, watch the SAME 4 commercials for 2-3 minutes. FF for another 13 minutes, watch the SAME 4 commercials for 2-3 minutes. You can't go past them, you can't get back to where you want to resume.
SO, to get back to where I was, 75 minutes in, it stopped 6 times during FF just to show me the SAME 4 commercials. You want to make me watch ads for free TV, fine. But not letting me resume and forcing me to watch 15-20 minutes of commercials just to get back to where I was? Nevermind. GARBAGE app.

I am accessing Pluto TV through my Xfinty cable provider. I've had this service for 40 years and never an hour of trouble. I was thrilled to start watching The Beverly Hillbillies that was on Amazon, however it was only a couple of episodes. Most of the other episodes was available with Pluto. Lo and behold I can't watch most of the shows (I'm into the 2nd season). The shows keep freezing and I spend at least 20 minutes trying to rewind, starting over and fast forward. Can't go anywhere. I have to skip the rest of that episode and go to the next episode and sometimes I can watch a whole next episode on the and sometimes I have to give up and skip the next 1 or 2 episodes.
I understand this is an old show, however if you're offering this show, please make sure t works.
Lastly, the voice is sometimes a minute or so faster/slower and not match the actual voice. That is very annoying. Sorry Pluto, this was the first show I tried to watch and this is the last.

Just being able to watch shows like this is wonderful! We have FUBO, Apple TV (comes with a package my family has from Apple), Netflix and Amazon. I personally only watch the Inspiration Channel out of all those (I like Gunsmoke and Bonanza). I put PLUTO on one of our Apple TVs...saw Johnny Carson and that alone was worth the download. It is a free app, so I certainly didn't expect much. However after spending a bit of time looking through the selections of older shows, I'm impressed. Heck they even have a bunch of Elvis movies playing!
