Spent a lot of time going back and forth between different sellers and I must say they are all positive to talk to. When I finally settled for one, I got asked to send in my documents just like most review complaints but found them out to be... ok, I guess? It wasn't to painful and I got accepted on the first try so mileage may vary. Overall it was pretty good. I hope I can buy again! :)
This website is the biggest scam, after days of contacting seller I finally received details and then to make it worst they were all listed as N/A. Another few days pass and I got into the acc I payed good money for! Account password has been changed and now I'm locked out of my acc. I knew this website was dodgy asf and NSWRcompany are nothing but money scamming scums. Lucky this is internet because I'd kill you dog!
I recently have bought of of here twice in one day with two different cards and my account needed payment verification. I've tried sending them the documents and everything they needed. They never responded. I've used this site back in 2018 with no issues, but now there's an issue. The customer support is absolutely atrocious.
I mean the site works well but the moment you have an issue and try contact their support team to get your money back after receiving nothing from the seller you will get no reply... it's one week away from being a month since i posted my support ticket and still not a response sadly i can't recommend this website due to the bad support although the site itself operates quick if you get scammed or anything expect no response or help... even as someone who has purchased frequently on the site... recommend checking elsewhere
Hello Brandon,
I'm terribly sorry you were unable to get replies from our staff. For cases like these, it's always best to go ahead and cancel the order, and this is also the reason why we make it available right off the bat. As for receiving gold in the wrong server, we recommend buyers and sellers to talk it out before the order is placed, because once the order goes through, it's usually final because the system assumes the buyer is completely aware of the service/gold he purchased, and also to make it fair to the seller.
If you have any other questions, please write back to your ticket thread so our staff can help you out.
Best,
Richard
I candled my order due to the fact that the website was telling me to pay for what I wanted. After they pulled the money from my bank account which does not make sense for me to pay twice. I still have not received my refund, the directions and "customer support" is completely useless. Please help!
Hello Ricky,
I saw that you were already assisted by our staff on ticket 396217. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and to state what our agent has told you, the payment is already voided and it's in transit already. If you have any other concerns, please write back to your ticket/email thread so our staff can help you out.
Best,
Richard
I have already sent in my photos of my identification and everything else required, however it said my order would be confirmed in a few minutes and it has been almost 3 hours. If a representative could please respond to this with some insight about my order that would be great...

When my orders actually go through it's a grand time, sellers are quick and personable, but the times that actually happens is few and far between because PA loves to lock your account and make you do 500 verification steps to prove you're really you, EACH AND EVERY $#*!ING TIME. I've taken so many selfies for these people and it's never enough, I'm over it. They've forced me into a terrible experience over something that was meant to be quick and fun.

Hi Liam,
I am very sorry for the inconvenience you had; I appreciate that in spite of that, you continued to try purchasing and made succeeding payments work.
I was able to check and the reason you got asked to verify again is because you changed payment accounts. You previously used your card, then on other payments you used Google Pay. We perform a new verification for every payment method used. In the case of cards, once a credit card is verified, it is good to go for the next orders and verification won't be needed again. Google Pay may require several verification processes because Google "masks" your credit card number by giving merchants like us a new card number for every transaction. My recommendation is to use the card you already verified with us so you won't need to verify again.
Again, my apologies about this. Thank you for appreciating the site's services, Liam.
Regards,
Richard
I have never in my life felt more scam vibes from a company. They allow you to pay with things like Apple Pay or PayPal then email you on your personal email, not the on web messaging to request ludicrous documents such as your photo ID with your address, an electric bill, your bank screenshot, your credit card photo and more. I've done some research and they seem legit, but they make it almost impossible to trust them with their super sketchy practices. My transaction never finished by the way. I wasn't about to send a picture of my bank account. Ridiculous.
Hello Jeremy,
I understand where you're coming from and rest assured, your scam vibes are totally unfounded. I'm sorry for the inconvenience with this.
The canceled order will be fully and automatically refunded back to you. As for why we ask the documents: we have this in place to validate the identity of our users and to fully authorize the payment. Your documents are only used for verification and they are treated confidentially; there are never shared outside of PlayerAuctions.
We respect your decision not to send them over. If you'd like to try buying again without going through this process, please use crypto currency or Skrill Bank Transfer as your payment, since both methods no longer require verification on our end.
Best regards,
Richard
Honestly, I believe that this is the best website to buy accounts or boost off of. However, I am experiencing issues with verifying my payment. Any information on this would help.
Hello Tyler,
Thanks a lot for the positive vouch!
I'm very sorry but your current payment is being declined because our system noticed you have mismatched/different names between your PlayerAuctions and payment accounts. They need to exactly match; kindly use a payment account that has the exact name as your registered real name on your PlayerAuctions account. We need it as such so we can validate the payment as authorized by its rightful owner.
Rest assured that you will be getting a full refund for this in 2-5 business days, perhaps quicker than that.
Best regards,
Richard
Rather the seller or those on the end of customer service, i've had to deal with both a couple times and I barely used the site.
Just awful, and they want pictures of you and your cards and all this sketchy stuff too. My last time using them was sending photos for a few hrs for verification only for them to send an email back to resend another one atleast 5 times, even with instructions followed. So, I had to wait to get my money back by cancelling when they could of just done their job. They didn't and they won't care about you if things go south.
Tip for consumers:
Don't. I reccommend eldorado.gg
Hello DW,
We're very sorry, we could process the order yet because the selfie we received is very blurry and does not comply with our requirements. We need them to be in high resolution and in clear view, both the face portrait and the ID details, to ensure we're receiving authentic validation documents that prove who you are. We coincide this with checking your payment account to ensure the authorized user is the one actually using the payment on our site, thus complying with our anti-fraud policies.
We actually care and this is why we put this security process first before our earnings. We hope you understand but we have a strict ethical obligation to prevent card theft and fraud.
Best regards,
Richard
Deal went bad due to sellers end and was told I was getting my money back. They claim I should have it but I don't. I have emailed and used the support center with no responses what so ever. Very disappointing.
Hello, Cody,
I'm sorry for the concern this has caused you. I can definitely confirm that you won the dispute and you are scheduled to receive a refund. Please note that upon notification of a refund, it won't be instant and it will have to be processed in a few banking days. This will be completed in 2-5 business days and you may receive it this coming week.
Once you do, could I ask you to update the review so we'll know?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Richard
I bought an electronic item yesterday on this site. When i tried to process the payment the site said that there had been an error. But when i was redirected back to the profile, there had been a ticket created saying that i had competed the purchase and the money was taken off of my cash app account. I then click to view the purchase, there is a button that says press pay now to continue purchase. I am not going to pay for one item twice, but the money i paid was taken out of my account and the service was only supposed to take 24 hours i messaged the services provider and got no answer. I would still like my item but this my first time using this site and my first experience was not very good. Is my item paid for or is it not?
Hi Jamar,
Thanks a lot for posting your concern so we can be of help. The order's payment was not received by our system yet which is why it displayed the "Pay Now" screen, but when this happens, you no longer need to click "Pay Now" and just wait for a few minutes for the order payment to be accepted. Once it does, when you refresh the page, the "Pay Now" button will be gone indicating that the payment is already captured. Since you've canceled the order already, you will be fully and automatically refunded on this in 2-5 business days (if not instantly).
Truly sorry for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused, Jamar. If you need further help, please use SiteJabber's Q&A form so I can help you.
Best regards,
Richard
I've used this site multiple times and had no issues, but as of recently I'm waiting for over 12 hours to have my order approved. I sent all the proper information as requested by them and have not received anything. I tried contacting customer support multiple times and have not gotten a single reply.
Hello Jose,
I checked and the order is already canceled. I'm sorry for the delay that you had to eventually cancel this, but rest assured, the funds have been voided and you should get a full refund sometime this week. If you decide to order again, our staff can pick up where you left of with the verification process.
Best regards,
Richard
I have used their services multiple times and all have been delivered same day. However, there are some serious risks associated with purchasing from PlayerAuctions (and I suppose any competing service). First, on your first purchase they want for you to take screenshots of your online CC account showing your account number and the proof of purchase. Be sure to redact all but the last 4 digits of your account/CC number and any part of the URL that is unique to your account. Second, shortly after receiving my last delivery i receive an in game chat stating to visit 'AccountWarcraft.com' else my account will be suspended. A quick 'WhoIs' shows this domain name is owned by someone/thing in China. So, basically the people that I just did a transaction with tried to phish me into logging into a bogus site with my WoW account credentials. I don't think this is PlayerAuctions fault but how do I trust purchasing through them again?
Hi Chris,
Thank you for explaining the concern you have and I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
First off, I'm glad to see you order went through smoothly; your seller is one of our upstanding members. As for the payment information customers send us, I'd like to verify a few things.
We go through this process to be able to validate the customer's identity and his/her authorization of the payment being made. Both are important in order to comply with our anti-fraud/anti-theft policies. The documents and information customers send us are used for verification purposes only; they are treated confidentially and are never shared outside of PlayerAuctions. Further, they are kept in encrypted servers and as an additional measure, all of these info/documents are periodically wiped, and this is why we ask customers for the same after some time. Given the nature and anonymity of online transactions, this method is our own time-proven way to efficiently ensure the security of payments made at PlayerAuctions.
We also make it a point to inform users to cover the credit card number and to only show the last 4 digits, since our desire with this is to validate that the owner is in possession of the actual card.
The person/party who contacted you in-game, as you've said, is not connected with PlayerAuctions. Unfortunately, these are prevalent sellers in online games who "directly market" their services to basically anyone inside the game. Sadly, they resort to concerning threats such as informing people that they will get banned, etc. to coerce people to buy from them. The fact of the matter is that whether you received your game account from our sellers or not, at some point in time, these people will still be able to contact you in the game. Your WoW account credentials are not in danger.
Thank you for expressing your concerns, and I'm really grateful for the constructive approach. I apologize again for the concern this has caused. If you have any other questions, please use the Q&A form here in SIteJabber. I would be more than happy to attend to them.:)
Best regards,
Richard
Ordered 5000 gold for $83. Hit the confirmation and received an error informing me the transaction didn't go through. Look at my bank account online and see a transaction for $83. Reach out to support and they tell me to put through another order and they will cancel the first one. Place a second order. Receive an email from their customer service asking me to provide pictures of my ID and credit card. Send them the info with the number "partially" redacted and a picture of me with my ID. They reply back asking me to make the number on the card more clear.
Not wasting my time with these folks. Took my money the second time and wanted me to verify who I was the second.
Hello, Ryan,
I'm very sorry for the concern and inconvenience this has caused. The first transaction never got through; I am sorry but this happens if your bank did not authorize the purchase or if the "Pay Now" button was never clicked. Another reason could be due to having mismatched names or info between the PA and payment account.
Please note that we never actively asked you to make another purchase and that we will cancel the order—for all incidents like these, we redirect the buyer to cancel the order. We merely informed you of the reasons why your payment never reached us in ticket 1146423.
For the next purchase, the verification process we requested is natural for all new payments. It was never requested in the first payment because your payment did not reach us. While we ask users to wait for 22+ business days, kindly note that this is only the maximum amount and refunds generally complete in 7+ business days or less. We understand you'd like to get the funds ASAP but the refund process is completed by your bank.
Sorry again for the inconvenience and if you need anything else, please let me know.
Regards,
Richard

Hello Youssef,
I'm sorry for the inconvenience—I was able to check and the reason your payment was declined is because the name/address between your PlayerAuctions and payment account are mismatched. This needs to exactly match to comply with our anti-fraud payment policies.
To help with this, I will contact you directly with a resolution message.
The canceled payment will be refunded in 7+ business days or less.
Best regards,
Richard
Great variety of choice when it comes to buying in game gold. But paypal doesn't work! Apparently to do with their risk management. What's worse is that they don't tell you why. If it doesn't work altogether, then why put Paypal as an option.
If you don't have a credit card/bank account then the only other ways are to use bitcoin or skrill which are usually more costly than paypal.
Big disappointment, would have to look for other options
Hello Ryan,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am also sorry that your payment was declined; I'd like to offer an explanation why this is happening.
Our website has an anti-fraud security system that actively checks accounts for inconsistent or inaccurate information. When these are flagged, our system will have to decline payments as protection for users, as paying users need to have accurate information to confirm to risk management policies and standards. Your payment is never taken and in case it was captured by our system, it will be refunded to you automatically. But in case you don't have it yet, please contact support@playerauctions.zendesk.com and include the order ID—kindly state that you'd like to get a refund for this.
In case you have any more questions, you may send it to that same email as well.
Best regards,
Richard
I TRIED PURCHASING 2 ACCOUNTS AND THE WEBSITE SAID IT FAILED THE PAYMENT. HOWEVER, MY CARD LOST ITS MONEY AND I GOT NOTHING
Edit: They said they will refund in 5-7days, hopefully I can get my money back.
Edit: my money was finally refunded after 7days
Tip for consumers:
It’s a scam at least for me. They took away my money and gave me nothing

Nothing was given to me through my mail
Hi Jun,
Rest assured, you're not being scammed. The funds you paid us were declined so it will have to be refunded by your payment provider, who needs time to clear and authorize the funds back, hence the 2-5 business day processing. Sorry for the confusion with this.
The payment was declined because your real name is mismatched between your PlayerAuctions account and the payment account you used. Due to anti-fraud/anti-theft policies, we need this to exactly match. I hope this information helps.
Best,
Richard
Playerauctions help team and inferior payment systems always seems to fail and leave a rift in your bank for the best part of week.
Then waiting on the other end is when you finally make a buy and it runs into issues. I got a refund for the account. But that is minimal in comparison to to my other investments into the account. They banned the seller. He seemed to want to cooperate but PA stopped any chance of that happening.
Looking forward to the "sincere apology and knowing how frustrating this can be" Richard. Save yourself the hassle and time and go somewhere else so you do not share my experiences.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t buy their accounts and invest in it. You will loose it all.
Hello Josh,
I checked the image you attached and was able to check order 7132065 on our end. Can you verify if this is the correct order ID? Because as per checking, there are no disputes and no tickets received for this from our end. The order completed just fine on our tracker.
If you'd like to check on an order, please confirm the order ID and/or write it in an updated review so I can check for you what went wrong.
Regards,
Richard
2 days ago I sold an account on this site. Someone placed an order for my account, so I contacted the buyer if he would be okay if I changed the price due to high commission(20$) and he agreed, so we cancelled the order and placed a new one. Everything went smooth until I realized they took an extra commission from cancelled order 15$, so that's 35$ for nothing. I wrote them an email and their response was that they can't remove my negative balance. So I wouldn't recommend this site for people who want to sell their accounts.
The site was prompt but it took a lot to get my ability to buy set up, first of all my previous account which was from the early days of the site would not work, had to make a second account. Then the payment verification system required a trip that cost $15 to verify a charge amount effectively making my $10 into a $25 purchase. I hope this is only a 1 time thing or I will be unable to use the site in the future.
* PlayerAuctions attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond
Hello there, Gabe,
I have checked with the team, and there was no excess of $15 on your purchase. The total amount is just $10.56. Could you please check again? The excess on top of the $10.56 could be a from a different payment or order which is outside of PlayerAuctions. I checked and this is your first order, and you have no other orders as of the moment, so it's impossible to have an additional cost like that.
Please let us know about your findings soon. Hope you have a good day, Gabe.
Best regards,
Richard
Done about 20+ trades, 100% feedback with no problems never needed support interaction untill now, wanted to buy an account and my payment got denied through paypal for no reason whatsoever even tho i bought the same way dozens of times before, made a ticket but I just get automated answers like nothing is wrong so there is no way to contact anyone to help me apparently
Hello Dominik,
I'm truly sorry about this, but due to security reasons, we have to decline payments from accounts flagged for security reasons. We're sorry that the only option we can offer at the moment is GoCoin. Rest assured that for the order ID you provided, the refund will be processed automatically. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with, Dominik.

Richard
Latest update - The item has now been returned. It took so many weeks, Im gonna bump the overall rating from a 1 to 2. I honestly wanted to keep it at a 1 star because I had to blast them on sitejabber for anything to even start happening. I contacted them twice through their contact forums on playerauction.com and had no response, nothing
I accepted a trade offer though their bot July 16 for a CSGO item. I waited over the 15 day waiting period to see my item on PlayerAuction site. Contacted 10 days ago and still haven't heard anything back. What a joke They are obviously trying scam people.
No - the item has still not been returned. Its not in my Playerauction inventory nor my steam inventory, So who ever said they returned it failed or lied
Hello again, John,
Our staff has just resent back the item for this offer. Could you please check on your Steam account and accept the trade offer? I will be here if you need anything. You may also reply back to the email I sent you a while ago. Sorry for the continued inconvenience.
Best regards,
Richard

For reference, this was my earlier reply:
I was told by the respective department that your skins are now returned, John. Could you please check on your end if you have them already? My sincerest apologies again for the delay, I hope you could look into revising your review for a possible upgrade. Thank you in advance; Please let us know if we can help you with other stuff, John.
Using PA.com few years doing well but got some issue currently, i am on rage by now.
My money stuck at PA.com side then they still did not refund.
Live customer support broken, no respond support ticket, their phone number useless. And PA.com keep saying that "please contact through to my twitter and facebook".
A company doing 15 years still in garbage like this.
What should i do now?
Hi Jummer,
Can you send me a private message with your Order ID so I can check your payment/refund status or why it got stuck?
Actually, we don't encourage contacting support through social media like Twitter or Facebook; we would love to help you out through our Help Center and email. Currently, we don't offer phone or chat support, but we will be looking into these in the future.
I hope to hear from you soon,
Lei
Customer Support Manager at PlayerAuctions
This site needs to work on their security verification process. I've been on the site for almost 4 years and I'm treated like a brand new customer when I want to buy a listing. There's no communication unless you contact them first. Player auctions used to be a really amazing site but their old school security works effectively as a wall to keep honest buyers and sellers out. I shouldn't have to verify myself every time I try to make a buy or a sell, especially as a long-standing member with absolutely no negative actions on my account. If you're willing to constantly verify yourself, then go for it. It's a great site. Otherwise, stay far away.
Have had to place two different orders, had to cancel first order because it was stuck at verification despite all instructions being followed and am yet to receive a refund for this attempted purchase, created a new order and now I'm back at square 0, having payed twice as much as intended just to receive nothing, would not recommend, doesn't work properly and receive uninformative automated responses which just make the experience even more frustrating.
Hi,
I apologize for what happened and I'd be glad to explain the delay with payment verification The secure order verification process is often completed within minutes. In some cases when the volume is high, it may take longer. Since they're handling payments, they are carefully reviewing orders to avoid fraudulent transactions. I sent you a private mesage with more information about your concern.
The other order that you are talking to has already been refunded. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Regards,
Krys
I've bought multiple accounts on player auctions without any problems. But recently i tried buying an account and the order was canceled but my money was taken and never refunded. And it sucks they have no customer service or any type of help service. I cant make contact to anyone because i cant dispute.

PlayerAuctions runs a marketplace for buying and selling characters, virtual goods and virtual currency from massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs).
PlayerAuctions was started in 1999 by a group of gamers in the states. It was one of the first player to player marketplaces around, becoming a famous hub for earlier games such as Ultima, Diablo 2, and Everquest. It survived on a small scale for years and grew entirely organically through word of mouth, until PlayerAuctions was acquired by Itemmania in Korea.
Being rebuilt from the ground up with proprietary risk management systems, and investment meant to provide a stronger support network for gamers, PlayerAuctions was re-launched in 2008 with offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Korea. Since that time, PlayerAuctions has supported hundreds of games and activities within the wider gaming industry.
At the end of 2013 underwent a structure change to a Product structure which has shifted development focus to an agile development system which resulted in many product expansions in 2014 including Gaming Accessories, CD Key Sales, Cosplay, Trading Cards, and Software Downloads. PlayerAuctions also opened a new support center in Manila 2014 to directly manage and control the quality of services rendered to its users.
Hello Eymon,
Thank you for the heads up and I sincerely apologize for the delay in processing your order. I have now notified an agent and requested an urgent follow-up for this. I'm really sorry again.
Best,
Richard
