I ordered a Hong Kong PSN digital card and it couldn't have been any easier. Got my code instantly. No problems. Completely satisfied with my purchase. Admittedly I was worried at first. But rest assured after my purchase and how easily it was done. I have no worries or reservations about purchasing anything from here. You have a new life long customer and I will be purchasing more!

“Package lost in shipping and Customer Service could care less”

I placed an order on Feb 25 which was delayed until late May for production issues. The item finally shipped on May 26th and was handed off to USPS. According to their website the package was delivered on June 6th to my mailbox. While I don't necessarily fault Play-Asia for the incompetence that is USPS, the package was NOT delivered. Our mailboxes are the "cluster" type in a residential area and have locks on them. My neighbors did not receive the package either. It was either misdelivered or stolen by a USPS employee. Play Asia tells me that I have to file a report with USPS. Fast forward several days later and USPS tells me that they're so very sorry, but I didn't buy insurance, so they cannot be held liable. (Interesting that anyone should have to pay extra just to ensure that USPS does their job...) Here nor there... Play Asia's website does not even offer an insured option. No alternate shipping method. You're stuck with what they provide. Follow up with Play Asia and they tell me once again to check with neighbors and "if I really can't find it" to file a police report for a stolen package. Again, I realize Play Asia can't be responsible for USPS losing the package, but they bear part of the responsibility for not providing an insured option or alternate delivery (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc) option that is reliable. Further, a large company like this should be insured and able to take responsibility for these types of situations. End result is that I'm out roughly $90USD.

So Disappointed With Playasia.
They sent me a faulty product which was completely unusable, offered me a $5 voucher for a $52 faulty item. Then told me if I wanted a refund I had to send it back to HK at my cost. I opened a paypal case & advised they need to pay return freight so they gave me their fedex account number & I sent it back, then they only offered me a $17 refund for the $52 faulty item so I had to escalate a case through Paypal & Paypal awarded me a full refund. This took over a month & many many emails & messages via paypal. Luckily I used Paypal so I was covered but Playasia was very unhelpful during the entire long process. I donot recommend buying from them at all.

I tried to buy a game through them the other day, they rejected my perfectly good credit card but somehow charged it anyway. My bank called me about possible fraud from them that's how I found out. I canceled the order having my bank reject their withdrawal from my card, they now constantly bug me saying they are waiting for my payment. Dirty rotten crooks, try to steal my money and not sell me the game!

I wanted to order games on Nontendo Switch. River city girls 2 and Signalis. I made my first attempt before the new year. Then the parcel was not sent to me on time, because the stock was over. Then I tried to order these games on January 19th. They were both in stock. But they didn't send them to me, they said that my stock would come only on January 30th. And today, when they are both on the website in stock, they tell me to wait until February 10! I have left $3,000 on the site for the last two years, my status is Shogun. And they have such a disregard for me. Tech support tells me to be calm and wait another two weeks. When both games are available on website now!

This i by far, one of the worst experiences i had buying online. I ordered a game from them way back in July 11/2022, and i still didn't receive it. I have sent numerous messages to which they simply reply as they have sent it already, but i still haven't received it. And it has been over 2 months now since i sent that message. So last week i sent them a message that i want a refund and still haven't received a reply. So 80$ down the drain. That is the last time i have anything to do with them. And i suggest to anyone that's reading this, its really up to you to take a risk with them. But i would suggest looking elsewhere, even Ebay is better than this pile of.

I ordered from the USA. I wasn't on "the waiting list", I ordered by the "availability" of the product. I was satisfied that I ordered the items I wanted. However, a few days later they said they didn't have one of the items I ordered. Apparently, they have a priority of selling to Asian customers? That's where my ordered item went? What a joke! They wanted to send me the rest of the merchandise. But now I don't need them.

I bought an English language version of a game from them but they sent me the Japanese version instead. They refused to send me the correct version or refund my money. I had to file a complaint with PayPal and the Hong Kong Consumer Council and they still haven't returned my money.

On July 30th 2021, I made a preorder at Play-Asia. I paid in full with Paypal and waited. A week after the release date (September 30th), I received an email from their customer service telling me that they can no longer "source the item". Two weeks later, before we manage to find a solution, the exact same item came back on stock... at three times the price. But of course, I already bought it months ago, so this new price wasn't supposed to apply to me, because of you know, the basic rules of contrats, and even their own terms and conditions. Let me quote them: "Pricing of Product(s) shall be the price as stipulated on this Website at the time when the Customer places an order with Seller." I had to send them at least 20 emails to try to make them understand what's common sense to any professional seller, but of all answers, I was hit by the biggest wall of hypocrisy I ever witnesses: "We truly understand" "The stock was reallocated to other customers" "The stock came from a different supplier, therefore we did not agree regarding your request". And they never addressed my legitimate arguments, not even when I warned them that I'll contact their CEO. They even answered to that last one: "Once again, we still for your kind understanding regarding this matter.", like they are not even afraid of their CEO, or they still don't understand after 20 emails of explanations. Trying to make them understand common sense is like trying to speak with a lobster while underwater, your hands and feet tied behind your back. So their own Terms & Conditions page is just for show. And their customer service is only here to make you waste your time.

I bought Super Robot Wars T and V a couple of weeks later they sent me an email tell me that the games are no longer available due to no stock form suppliers. Play asia asked if I wanted a refund or to buy a different game. When looking at Play asia listing I noticed that they still had the games for sale so I took a screen shot and ask "why were the games not taken down since they couldn't get any copies from supplier no more?" Play asia ask for proof which I provided and even told them that I would be happy to wait if it took longer to get it in I wouldn't mind. Play asia just refunded my money with no more responses. I just check for the release date for Super Robot Wars 30 and notice that T and V are still for sale but more expensive. So they just wanted to line their pockets instead of honoring their original price that how it sounds with me since Play asia could have said that they don't know when they will get it in but could let you know when it does and I could buy it again but no. Need proof just look at my screen shot taken today and my receipt look at the difference in price it is undeniable

Don't buy from Play Asia, I bought a game and had me waiting for 3 months, and even then they didn't reach out to me. It was up to me to have to contact them just for them to say the item had never left the warehouse, from that point they took 2 months to tell me the item went missing. Now the refund part was stressful as they couldn't refund me for the shipping cost. At this point, I felt very disappointed but I had no choice, I really don't want anyone to go through this. This happened between Feb 2019 - Sep 2019 so it wasn't delayed due to Covid.

I have never heard of this site before in my life how in the hell did u manage to take $80! From my account (only found out from this site bc it was in the 80 statement) this site is nothing but a scam especially if u dont even have to go on their site to lose 80 for no reason a bunch of scummy theives

Internal packaging had no support so my item arrived completely smashed to pieces after tons of waiting. It took so long to convince them to actually refund me, and then they said they couldn't refund me unless I cancelled the paypal dispute (and losing all my buyer protection!). I told them obviously I wouldn't do that and they agreed to refund me at last. I got an email saying it would be processed within the day. It's ten days later, I replied to the Paypal dispute saying no money has been refunded, and they replied that they understood that I had been told what to do in an email... Absolutely insane and outrageous! Either a couple of people/departments (don't know if customer support or accounts) are utterly incompetent or the company is just a shambles, but do not buy from this site! Fine if you have no problems, but trying to get your own damn money back is like getting blood from a stone.

My package was sent in 15th may, it should have arrived in my country one week later, but it was stolen in Singaporean outpost, they registered it to pretend it was sent. It never arrived and my country postal service says its still in transit. Play-asia is fully aware of the situation but they dont take responsability and doesnt respect consumer laws to protect the weakest part of the relationship, as they keep answering the same line to ask me to contact my local post office and I provided them all the information the package never arrive here.

MY ADVICE: DONT BUY FROM THIS STORE AS THEY DONT RESPECT CONSUMERS, LOOK TO BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE

I dont recommend play-asia, search for your gaming stuff in a place that respects consumer laws

I have had four or five expensive items very carelessly shipped out to the wrong address, website is poor quality and repeatedly reverted my attempts to update my email to a current one, email validation never succeeded with any email address, including the one it kept reverting to. Logged in to find messages with language implying that i had some responsibility in not getting my items and for the whole hassle, they charged me for the return shipping due to their error. Unacceptable incompetence and carelessness. I will never do business with them again. I usually don't write reviews at all unless they're positive but i got nothing due to THEIR carelessness and disorganization and they STILL had the gall to take money from me. I have never been so livid with a company in my life.

Tip for consumers:
don't. seriously, find ANY other reseller.

i've received product from them in the past. so, IF i got my products, i used them and everything was fine. its the products i never got and still got charged for that sparked my review.

I have order an iTunes ******* and they charged my cards 388.24 still havent give my code and sudden say it was cancelled and they didnt refund my money still, i have contacted them and they keep saying already give me back my money but i have checked with my bank and still havent pay back. I buy with them 3 times already and sudden they say my security problem and cant give me the code. WTF?! Now im about to call their local police for scamming and hope my lawyer will success bring this to court!

Item was stated to ship within 1 to 5 days from date of order. Its now 8 days, and item is not yet shipped. I ask customer service several times over facebook messenger, they have no idea when to ship exactly! I requested to refund twice, they ignore my request twice. Item is US$377.89, huge amount. This is ridiculous, i want my money back now! I need the item urgently and will order elsewhere.

I've never heard of this company until today 1/5/17. I don't play games as I'm a 46 year-old adult woman with things to do. Where did you obtain my credit card information? The charge was made according to my bank while I was commuting home from work on a crowded train. Please refund my money, that's all I'm asking. I do not buy games or gadgets.

Terrible company, and this is coming from an ex-loyal costumer for years, To be fair they used to be good, fast, and efficient, but unfortunately the reality is that their quality in service have been deteriorating the past few years and have now gone to the point of even delaying their shipments on purpose for weeks, not days, or hours, WEEKS...

This is one of those "how the mighty have fallen" - type story, the worst part is that when i tried to contact them and ask if it was possible for them to make up for their mistake (2 weeks delay which is completely their fault) or in other words take responsibility for it by changing my shipping type to make up for the wasted time, my order has suddenly, perhaps even magically been shipped and cannot be changed but lo and behold when i searched for the tracking number i was given it wasn't even in the shipping company's system.

Now that's fishy to me and it tells me that they haven't even sent my package yet because its not in the shipping company's database yet... the entire situation and how PA allowed it to degenerate it that is simply disappointing...

While they have a decent selection and different kinds of sales, prepare for terrible costumer service and expects weeks of delay. MINIMUM

Just in case PA staff are bored and read through these my order number is *******

Bought and paid for a nintendo mini classic. Did not get any confirmation or shippingdetails. When we contacted their customerservice they claimed payment was not recieved and deleted our order. Although all proofs like transaction-IDs etc was sent to them. We opened a case in Paypal. They did not respond to Paypal. Case upgraded to a demand, still no comments from them inside paypal. After 2 weeks I was fully refunded from Paypal. We wrote warnings on trustpilot but they were removed. (Hmm strange)
Stay away, they will delete orders and bad reviews but will try to take your money and then play dumb.

Terrible company. Has out of stock products yet on webstie says it's instock, then once you order it, it's stuck in "preparing order" for months. Wish to cancel an order? They just say "We are sorry for the late delivery of your package Hang. We have confirmed that we did not receive the stock up until now No need to worry as our purchasing team is doing their best to fulfill the order as early as possible. For now, we ask for your patience and understanding." While NOT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGING YOUR WISH TO CANCEL THE ORDER. Play-Asia is straight up stealing money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Amazon is so much superior in every way where they actually listen to customers and solve our queries.

Horrible and scam service. I am was client of this service more two months, I did many orders and physical and digital. Today I did new order ******* and they asked call to me. I told my old phone not work, I want give new phone number. They not answered at all, just have written message in 3 min after order!, that they can not reach me by phone and cancelled order. Damn. They full spit on clients, which already long time use them service. Also THESE SCAMMERS stole all my old digital orders, ALL. People if you have some problem with play-asia, there is no any meaning write to them, just do chargeback, I hate scammers like they.

This is a company run like garbage with garbage customer service.

Different reps answer emails and leave you in a loop of giving the exact same information on a purchase until you either give up or have to go through your payment choice to resolve the problem.

Twice now I have attempted to buy a digital product key and both times they botched a simple procedure.

Take payment, send some text to the purchaser. Its not difficult. They "forgot" the first time after taking 4 days. I could have gone and bought what I was looking for and been faster at a brick and mortar.

The second time they blamed the "accounting department" for charging me 4 times the original amount ($200) taking 4 weeks to return payment and it wasn't until I forced a charge back that I got my money back. Unbelievably unacceptable.

Tip for consumers:
Find another company or go to a brick and mortar store.

Charged my card without sending me anything. The charge was refunded several weeks later, with a message saying "there are many fraudulent charges from your area, try using Western Union instead". How is that how you do business? Western Union is a big red flag.
