Double charged me for the year, filthy dressing rooms and shower. Im.still waiting on hold to talk to corporate but there is a message saying I should just go to www.planetfitnes. I need to talk to someone. I need my money. Planet Fitness is not what it used to be.
I have no problem with the LGBTQIA's but for a transgender male to be in the woman's locker room with a child is disheartening. We can respect them but they need to also respect others. That child could have teams seeing a man in the woman's locker room. Get them their own locker room. No penises should be in a female locker room. They're not females they want to be one. Just disgusting! I hope they boycott all planet fitness. I don't want to give no stars but you have to give at least one
I went in on February 11th to the Millplain location in Vancouver WA. The staff can be very condescending, biased, and discriminatory. I have been a member for some time. I gave up working out there around COVID-19 time. I ended up getting a complete home gym. I went in on the 11th to only see a huge black fist with BLM and hearts. I was offended and decided to cancel my membership. I told IAN, that I was canceling for personal reasons. I got home and noticed on my contract that IAN put "not motivated" as my reason for cancellation. Liar! The bottom line, the gym is cheap, and you get what you pay for. The atmosphere and the people who work there, not all the employees there were horrible. There were some good ones 2%, The other 98% are as ghetto as you can get. After repeatedly dealing with unprofessional staff and a very woke mob atmosphere, I decided it was beneath me and time to move on. The Ownership doesn't care nor does corporate. Just like every other gym this too shall close. I have a picture of the ridiculous drawing from the so-called judgment-free zone. I would love to share. Anyhow, we all matter no matter what race!
They stole from my credit card $375 dollars. I understand the policy is not cancel at time, but twice a month $30.48? They are stole company. Experience Fitness transfer all the customers, but Planet Fitness charge me like the have the services like Experience. Karolina Bacca is the manager but is the worst person that I spoke. Yo tenía una membresía en Experience Fitness, pero ellos al cerrar transfirieron sus clientes para Planet Fitness, cuando traté de detener esa transferencia me dijeron que debía esperar, yo me tuve que trasladar a otro estado, por lo que ellos por 6 meses estuvieron sacando de mi tarjeta de crédito $30.48 dos veces por mes, por que según ellos esa era la membresía que yo pagaba en el gimnasio anterior, lo curioso es que en planet fitness la membresía más cara cuesta $20.00 y me cobraban exactamente los beneficios que yo tenía en el gimnasio anterior. Yo pagaba Sauna, piscina y entrenador personal, beneficios que no tiene Planet Fitness, y para colmo ya sabían mi esfuerzo por cancelar que me transfieran con ellos porque yo no tenía motivos para ir con ellos, yo necesitaba hadas y ellos no tienen piscina ni los otros beneficios que yo buscaba. Hablé con la Carolina que es la manager y puros cuentos. Sólo me devolvieron $30.48 de $60.96 mensual por6 meses. Me indigna la falta de respeto a la gente. No pedí que me transfieran, hablé para cancelar ese proceso de transferenciay nunca fui a usar esa membresía que por su voluntad me pusieron porque no me convenía. Son unos ladrones despiadados. De $375.76 que sacaron de mi tarjeta de crédito sin mi autorización solo me devolvieron $30.48. Miserables ladrones.
I paid for the 25 membership so I wasn't locked into a plan and I was still charged the buy out fee of 59.00 when I shouldn't have been charged it literally states it online that I wouldn't be charged. This company still money and falsely advertises their gym saying that the higher membership has no commitments but in reality they will not let you cancel ur membership until a year from the first charge or pay the 59.00 buy out fee the same fee the annual 10.00 membership is charged! Not worth it and their customer service is a joke! Good luck trying to get them to answer you

They would charge me even when I was on pause! After arguing with them every month when I seen my bank statement I canceled the service. Low and behold I got my bank statement for December and they charged me again. All I got was lip service from the staff. They also said they sent me a email stating that my account was being continued because my pause was up. I never received a email. I told the girl I would bring my phone up and she can see for herself. Bottom line is I canceled my service in November l. Buyer beware!

Then I did get my money back after calling them on June, July and August which they charged me when I was on pause. I called them again in Sept because yet again was charged for October, November. Never received a reimbursement for October. Canceled the membership because they just kept charging me! Was very frustrated with the staff. They said they sent me a email that stated my contract was reactivated in No.
This gym (Wentzville Bluff Planet Fitness Location specifically) is an UNSAFE place. Choose any other gym besides this company. They are not trustworthy, nor do they care about safety.

Machines and make it impossible to do this training. Front desk says tall them about it because when you tell members they stay there and laugh at you. One threatened my life today. Instead of planet fitness doing the right thing and enforcing rules they made, they ban you. They have caused me emotional distress from negligence. I'm terrified for my life while they had members laughing at me. They make it like it's my problem just by asking them to do their job. I'm scared they gave my info to this other member. This is not a gym where you feel safe and the gym could care less if someone kills you on their floor.
I have spoken with several people and I also went to the airline branch and signed a paper and y'all still taking money from my account and I don't appreciate it I am going to call me a lawyer to see what can be done about y'all stealing out of my account and it is going on every month sometimes twice a month I want my money back legal actions will be coming you can reach me at *******8189
Signed up for a 12 month trial with Planet Fitness of Kingsport. This is the Planet Fitness on Jack White Cir. Near Golden Coral.
My intentions were always to give it a try but Never used the facilities, NOT ONCE!
But I honered the contract every month regardless.
When the 12 months were up I went in to let them know I would not be renewing and to make sure that they did not do auto renewal, which they did not. They told me then that after the 12 months all was good and I owed no more.
Here we are two months later after the fact and I am charged a membership fee of $49.
When I contacted them on this it was told to me that the monthly fees have nothing to do with the membership fee and that even though my 12 months were up I still owe an annual membership fee that IS reoccurring and non refundable.
An annual fee! Even though my contract ended TWO months ago and I no longer have privileges to enter they said the annual fee is automatic and mandatory. For what?!
Even though they failed to bring this up when I clearly asked them if there was anything else I needed to do two months prior they said that if I didn't want charged an annual fee that I would have had to mention it beforehand.
No how much sense does that make?!
They have recently told me that if I don't want to continue paying the annual fee in the future then I will need to pay a penalty fee for canceling!
We will see.
Their cancelation policy requires you to either send a handwritten letter or visit in person. Both options are the loftiest heights of bull$#*! and should not he allowed, and this isnt just how gyms operate because I have canceled another gym membership via a phone call.
Do not reward this company with your money, because, like an abusive partner, they will make it as difficult as possible to end your relationship with them.
I drove 15 miles from port orange to Ormond to find out they closed. No emails, no signs. Nothing. That's not right.
This club is the most unprofessional fitness club in Yuba City, Ca. It starts with their supervision, Patty, to their management, Adrian. Patty has literally harassed and belittled my son every time he goes in. She is a bully when it comes to my son.
I have asked to speak to management, Adrian, about this matter but she refuses to call me back because she is so busy running a gym.
So if you want a membership to a gym that likes to harass you and bully you because they are a "Judgement Free Zone," then this gym is for you.
It's so sad that businesses are still bullying and harassing people who just want to workout. They even took my monthly payment this week and then cancelled my membership right after while keeping my money. I guess that's how this business runs. Very sad!
It's sad that the owners of this establishment have an inexperienced management team running their business.
I will definitely pay more for a membership to a real gym in town.

They do not allow you to end your membership online or over the phone. YOU HAVE TO GO INTO THE GYM OR WRITE A LETTER? How is it 2023 and it's this HARD to CANCEL? Never again!
The workers here are great, but the company itself needs improvement. I canceled my membership, then continued being charged afterwards. When I contacted them for a refund, they refused. Being it was their fault, you would assume I would get a refund, but instead they took my money while I am in financial crisis. That is technically theft and I am going to continue posting this on as many sites as possible to warn others.
You would think that in 2022 organizations would understand than when we don't want what they are offering, we simply want to leave. Planet Fitness cancellation policy is a SCAM. They won't accept an email or telephone call. They force you to go into your home gym and fill out paper work - meanwhile they try to run out the clock and keep billing you. It's shady! Reminiscent of how business was done in the 80's. They don't care about your experience they just want to keep their hand in your wallet. I'm embarrassed for them.

Why has it taken me over a year to cancel my membership?!? First time I "cancelled" it, I had to pay $60… months go by, decided to check my bank statements. BAM my account still showed every month " PLANET FITNESS -$25"
This is complete BS. Did it once more, same thing is happening again… now today I'm told I shouldn't of been paying $60 to cancel my account, it's "free" just need to go up there and sign a paper then it will be cancelled. Get it together! Paying for something I haven't been to in years is just completely BS

I bought my daughter a yearly membership primarily so she could use the tanning salon Customer service closes at 4 o'clock which is ridiculous. She just went to tan and I guess they claimed you need to wait 24 hours to 10 and it was a state law but I checked and it's not it's a recommendation so we won't be renewing a membership at $400 a year. Good luck with them trying to get new members they can put as many ads on TV is they want and it's not gonna fly

Please note easy sign up, have been trying to cancel for 2 months there is always some reason such as "we are in the bank draft period you need to pay next month before you can cancel"...yhe fact that bank draft is the only way to pay should concern you, I am having to change bank account to stop their draafts..
I was a member at the Fort Oglethorpe location for about a year. It has basic equipment, is dirty and the showers seldom worked.
I let it slide due to the inexpensive price.
I needed to cancel my membership temporarily due to health issues so I went on my mobile app to do so. I couldn't find a way to do it from there so I went to the company website and discovered that you have to go back to your home gym and submit a form at the front desk. I joined using the app but couldn't cancel that way. There is only one reason to do that. They are banking on the fact that a lot of people either can't or won't go to the trouble of going in and they can keep collecting fees.
That's not illegal but it's sleazy. The temporary suspension of my membership is now a permanent one.

This young lady has a very nasty disposition for a customer service representative, after rolling her eyes and talking to her breath, after I kindly replied to a few questions, I got fed up and asked what her name was she covered up her name tag would not give me her name I asked her if she liked her job there she said no I really don't care for it, then why work there? Planet fitness employees should make the experience for customers the best they very can we don't need rude people clapping out because they don't like the hours they work the early mornings or the late nights whatever it is you signed up for it, she don't like her job she's rude to customers I see it all the time she needs to go somewhere else try Amazon when you ain't got to deal with people honey. I was a member for over 5 yrs. I cancelled my membership because there was a NAKED MAN WITH AN ERECT PENIS hanging out in the WOMEN'S locker room! I was distraught and informed the front desk. They told me that it was "ok because he identifies as a woman". I am not going to normalize this kind of perversion and accept the cop out of using the gender card and allow myself to feel unsafe and disgusted in a place that never gave me the option during the sign up if I would be ok with that. I'm appalled on how this was handled to appease to this kind of behavior for the sake of politics and cowardness. I quickly cancelled my membership. I felt violated by the sight of a naked man with an erect penis in the women's locker room at Planet Fitness ******* and consider this sexual harassment.
Tons of cardio and strength equipment. Unlimited fitness training. Super friendly staff. And the home of the Judgement Free Zone?. All just $10 a month.
