Pixoto was the first photography website I joined and found encouragement in. It's approach and ui is still amazing. But what it needs is a new logo and a mobile app.

Interesting concept for a Photo contest site. Not like the "Other" photo place that professes to be loaded with Gurus where it is a matter of how well you can play the game and not the quality of your photos. On Pixoto it seems that your photos either stand or fall on their own merits.
Rewarding & educational. Learning from what I see others doing and thrilled when one of my photos does well. I am a pensioner and this site gives me expression for what I like doing. Thank you Pixoto!

I am here from very begining and still like it, but you should give more points for every win, so actual photos could achieve app 800 points and be in upper half of best of all time. Because, now, best photos of all time are 10 years old... and actual photos rarely achieve 700, even 600 points because of less participants and photos in duels
