Placed my order on Aug 23, received ONE of my two items in record time... before Labor Day. Then the bull$#*! started.
I contacted customer service to ask where my second item was - specifically because the receipt that came packaged with the first item didn't even make mention of the second item I paid for.
Customer service kindly asked for a week to ensure the item arrived... it didn't. I waited ten days. Then customer service replied with an excuse about the holidays and weekends, it could take "up to a month" for my order to ship. So I waited four weeks. Still nothing. They asked for me to wait one more week, and if the item hadn't arrived by then, they would either send out a new one or give me a refund. Naturally, I waited ten days, no item. I asked them for a refund. Suddenly, they responded saying that the storms that happened consecutively affected my shipping order - except I'd ordered my items a month and a half before any storm hit!
They responded asking me for my name & address so they could send me a new item. That's when I started losing my patience. At this point, TWO months later, I could give less of a $#*! about the item, I just wanted my money back. After two confirmation emails and a text, no refund. Replied back saying I would be taking legal action, and the money appeared on my bank statement the next week.
People, understand that if they do NOT send you your items, that is THEFT, and you can and SHOULD call your credit card company to file a report with them. You will at least be able to get your money back, and the bank will deal with Pioneer Revival.
I should also point out that while this email - *******@pioneerrevival.com - will respond (albeit in two or three days at a time), you should also reach out to *******@gmail.com
For a minute, I believed their sob story about the holidays and the weather... until I read up their reviews online and realized they're just a $#*!ty company, period. Their materials suck, their items are not even that great quality. There are much better online stores out there with much better customer service and better quality items. Do NOT buy from Pioneer Revival. And if you've been afflicted by these people, remember you have options. Call your bank. File for theft. Email them. Demand a refund for your items.
UPDATE 10/31 - The team STILL comments on my review asking me to email them (Ive already marked any and all of their accounts as spam at this point), IF YOU ARE A COMPANY AND YOU ARE EXPECTING DELAYS ON ORDERS YOU NEED TO COMMUNICATE THIS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.
I ordered an item off Bespoke not too long after Pioneer, and received an email update saying my order was going to be delayed a few additional days because of a piece that needed to be ordered for completion - the item even arrived a few days earlier than this anticipated delay. See what I mean? No fuss, no constant back and forth, no rage-inducing please wait twelve more days! Nonsense - if Pioneer had done the civil thing from the start and told me, BEFORE LABOR DAY, that my order would be affected by the upcoming hurricanes, I would have waited without any stress. But they failed to communicate anything to me, their customer service is a colossal failure, and I am very curious to know how theyre doing with the Better Business Bureau. Running an online shop and leaving your customers in the dark + not giving any helpful response beyond wait longer is UN-$#*!ING-ACCEPTABLE
Im abandoning this review, I dont want to add any more to this, but Pioneer responding to my review just ticked me off again. Stay away from them. You will not get your items, you will have to wait 2+ months for a refund. Scam site
