“High Quality-Totally Customizable-FUN”

Tom B.
12/12/20

I've been using Picaboo for many years and though I've tried other photo product printers, I've always come back to Picaboo. I'm surprised at the ratings, so though I came to sitejabber to search another company, when I saw how PIcaboo was being reviewed, I was compelled to react. Here are a few things I really like; EXTREMELY HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS - Again, I've tried others, and seen examples of even more at a professional scanning company I patronize. NONE comes close to Picaboo. For photo books, paper, binding, cover all are superior. For greeting cards, the stock is far and away better than what I've received from friends who also make their own cards with a different photo printing company. Calendars are better than any I've seen. AMAZING OPTIONS FOR CUSTOMIZATION - I could use Picaboo's pre-set options, but I'm able to create my own style; backgrounds, page layout, content. Effect, text options, etc. I'd ike to use the term 'limitless' but that is an overreach. Please know there are more options on Picaboo than I can imagine every using. I'd have to show you some of the many books I've made. PRINT QUALITY - nuff said. I like it. CUSTOMER SERVICE - Twice in all the years I've used Picaboo, I found myself wanting to ask questions. I could call, or do online chat. Either way, I got courteous, knowledgeable advice. WEBSITE DESIGN TOOL - Picaboo continues to improve their already easy-to-use website. PRODUCT VARIETY - While I've mainly used Picaboo for photo books, cards and calendars, just TODAY I received a tote bag I designed to give as a gift. My daughter is going to love it! QUICK TURN AROUND - I'm surprised by how fast I receive my orders. ALL IN ALL, when I get busy on a Picaboo project, I don't have to worry about the production quality of the finished project. Instead, I can put my engergies into creating something great, all the while having FUN!

“Pictures in book are turning black”

Sandy K.

I have three photo books by Picaboo and all three have pictures that are turning black. The customer service representative blamed it on the way I am storing them. I told him that they are on a book shelf that gets no sun and he said it has to be my fault. He also said that since it has been more than 90 days, Picaboo will do nothing to help remedy the situation.

All the hours I spent ended in less than perfect results because of the poor editing tool when creating photo books. Very difficult to navigate, hard to make corrections in text. Customer service was not as promised with 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Very disappointed with their customer care.
Find another company that's easier to deal with. I can see many others were not happy with them either.

We use Picaboo every year since they seem to be the only one that has something like Cards for Causes where they would donate 100% to charity (on giving Tuesday). Sadly every year the "estimated shipping" is off. You call customer support and they refund you the cost of shipping, but that doesn't make up for the late xmas card delivery. Mine is so far 4 days after the shipping date and it shows still "in production." This is ridiculous. I'm not sure why they can't fix the supply chain issue. This will be our last year doing this. I'll just donate to a cause separately.

This is my 4th year of using Picaboo for our yearbooks. Though I had great experiences with them before, this year has been a nightmare. The software will work for about 15 minutes, then it only works sporadically. I've spent about 12 hours doing what should normally take 3 or 4 hours. So disappointing.

Got three vouchers and was forced to use them seperately - thereby tripling my cost. Very frustrating and not customer friendly. Will think twice about using them next time.

I paid attention to their shipping deadlines, paid for rush priority shipping and the day before Christmas discovered my photo books are still in production and will not arrive by Christmas for gifts. I've used Picaboo for a number of years, good quality books, but this will be the last year I use them.

I tried to change the shipping address (because the book I had just ordered took 10 days to arrive) and they would NOT change the shipping address even though the book was in production and hadn't shipped yet! Will NOT order from them again! I can understand if it was changing anything about the printing of the book, but the shipping address! Very poor customer service!

I really like your product. (once I actually receive my order) However, the rest of the service is making me question this decision. Production and Shipping are never what the website states. There is no communication beyond an email confirmation of the order. My order was placed Dec 10. The website stated it was still in production as of Dec 19 (even though when I ordered production was only to take 3 days) The order should have shipped out on the 14th as the website stated. I called customer service to learn the status of my order, Tuesday, Dec 19. I was told it would be sent overnight that day. I should receive it Wednesday, Dec 20. (Even though she initially told me she wasn't sure why it didn't ship on Dec 14 as it 'should have') The email I received stating my order finally shipped, says it won't arrive until end of day Thursday, by 8pm, Dec 21. Where's the customer service of simply doing what you say you will do?!?
PS. I know it is December; communication is key. Don't make promises you have no intention of keeping.
Side Note: This isn't the first time. My most recent two orders were not produced or shipped within the time frame promised.
I suggest if ordering from this company, make sure you have plenty of time, as the time frame stated, is not even an estimate.

I purchased a book from Picaboo via an Amazon voucher. The ordering process is tedious and time consuming, and unfortunately voucher orders default to an automatic upgrade. Customers need to be alerted to such upgrades or given the option to upgrade. The customer service department is not very helpful and they are not interested in maintaining customer relations.
Very unfortunate indeed.

For a $35 coupon for $100, you end up paying $20 (Tax and shipping). It will end up costing $55 for the book. Expensive, not worth it. I give them 5 star when they offer free shipping at the beginning.

This company is a joke! For one, their website is slowest and most tedious of ALL photo sites. I had purchased an offer to make a photo book and actually just had to scrap the whole idea because it was going to take 4 hrs just to UPLOAD my pictures! I let it load for 2 hrs before I just said screw it. So i ended up just ordering some prints. They took 2 weeks to arrive and several were messed up. They had big pink blotches on my black and white pics! I wrote customer service and received a prompt reply that they would correct the issue. I informed them I needed the pictures sometime the following week. Well an entire week passed and I just now received a shipping confirmation (when I have been looking for them in the mail) and the tracking shows it will take an additional week to deliver! Are you kidding me! For 4 5x7 prints? They SUCK! And I will never use them again.

I make calendars for my family every year. This site is not as easy to use as others and their ordering process is terrible. Look before you buy. The cost of shipping is outrageous. They make you pay full shipping costs for each calendar to the same address! The calendars I have purchased the last few years from another site were high quality and no hidden costs, so I will go back to them. Although their calendars may look good, I won't shop through Picaboo again.

Be aware that there cropping lines are not perfectly accurate. They could crop a little more (especially on the cover). I will try another company next time. Compaints are not handled very fast either. So allow youself plenty of time for the project, and the possability that it will have to be redone.
