I can't really tell the difference between your quality types. I'm assuming more expensive is better, but I don't know. Not sure how you would fix that. I didn't look hard for descriptions. The upload process has not been improved over the past year. The same problems persist. E.g. every time I upload a new version of the project I have to re-define all of the default values. E.g. use first page as cover, etc.
I received the books, both have some minor printing issues - but one has major problems with the binding (it's poor manufacturing - there were loose pages / pages coming out at delivery) and it's darker than the other one. There's a major difference between the two books. I tried contacting the company on-line but haven't heard back yet. I'm hoping I can have it re-printed. Michelle Nyland *******@gmail.com *******693
By paying the $99.00 membership fee, I assumed that there would be a benefit to me. The only benefit I see is that I have the option of removing the photobooks.pro logo which I have to pay an additional $10.00 for. I don't know that I'll do much business with his site.
The book options were different each time I tried to order. I edited my PDF to match the 11x14 hardcover specs but when I went back to order the 11x14 hard cover option was gone.
Website is slow. Thumbnails don't show. Uploading photos is not intuitive once you've created a project. Adding photos to page is not intuitive.
I was very disappointed with the 3-week delivery time to France and with the poor quality of the album. It does not correspond in any way to what I had expected. I ended up receiving a wire-o album when I had believed I had ordered a hardcover, which means the explanations and descriptions of the products were misleading and not precise enough. The pages were cut in odd places, almost cutting people out of the album, even the page numbers (which I had never asked for in the first place) was half-cut.
The colors are very dark, making some pictures too dark to mean anything... a black square here and there in my album.
I used to be a loyal customer to Apple's album products (which sadly no longer exist) to my greatest satisfaction every time. I will not use Photobooks.Pro ever again and do not wish to recommend their products to fellow customers either.
