I'm very thrilled with my first purchase with Pet Circle. I ordered aquarium items on a Sunday and was amazed at the fast speed that my order was packed and despatched in a matter of hours. It arrived on Monday morning and everything was in excellent condition. As a buyer, I loved that they sent text messages giving updates on my order so I didn't have to worry about its whereabouts. Pet Circle offers value for money. There is a wide range of items and they're competitively priced compared to other pet stores - even more when they've got a special. I highly recommend Pet Circle and will definitely use their service again.

They then charge your account 4 weeks later for another lot of product, even if you don't have an account with them. They say it says "auto delivery" on the item at purchase, but that's difficult to see, and it's such a scam to set this up as default. You should have to select this as an option! Dodgy company. Take your business elsewhere.

We ordered rabbit pallets from them, estimated arrival date is Tuesday. On Sunday we live chat with them, they don't even despatch my orders and told me there will be another 24 hr -72 hrs that I will receive their e mail about what's going on.

I use Pet Circle and definitely rate it 5 stars. It is cheaper than other similar providers and they sell much cheaper prescription pet foods (that the Petbarns etc don't sell) and they deliver quickly. Whenever I have had an issue or query they sort it out promptly and always to my satisfaction. But here is why I will stick with them - one of my dogs required prescription dog food ($98 for a small bag). I purchased one and then unfortunately my beautiful pooch had to be put to sleep 5 days later. I didn't even open the bag of pet food. More than a month later I contacted Pet Circle about possibly returning or donating the dog food because I couldn't use it. In less than 24 hours they gave me a refund and didn't ask for the food to be returned but instead gave me a list of dog rescues to donate it to.

I've been using Pet Circle to purchase dog food online for over two years. Since my last order in May 2020 there is a marked decrease in turn around time from order confirmation to packaging to dispatch. Nearly two weeks to receive my order this time. Historically I received order within 3 business days (still at same address). I'm not sure what's going on. I will go back to their competition who deliver on time.

Pet Circle is my point of call for my cat's pet supplies. I love the auto delivery function. It means that I don't run out of cat food especially during lockdown. Their customer service is excellent as well and I love the text messages that keep me updated about delivery. The website offers great value for money especially when they have a sale. I can see a lot of the negative complaints are about auto delivery. Perhaps that could be an opt in rather than an opt out as it might be confusing for some.

Tip for consumers:
If you don't want auto delivery, don't choose that option.

I have a slip disc which prevents me from carrying heavy objects and I live on first floor hence my reason for ordering online with delivery. They delivered the products to unsafe location further away from my front door at first floor, provided a picture of proof which clearly shows that is not my house then refused to refund $186.36 dollars. I legitimately can't carry those products upstairs by myself.

This is the 4th time this is happening and I have been using pet circle for a very long time now. Once, I kid you not, they were delivering the same time as my husband was just getting back from work and actually told him to carry the products upstairs without offering to even help with carrying the products. If they have a specific service to pay for delivering up stairs, then they should mention that on the website and I am happy to pay for that.

Worst of all, they replied by email saying they are not going to refund because they have delivered it to me, which is completely wrong because the proof of delivery document itself shows that the goods have been placed near letterboxes and bins- no front door to be seen in the image (attached the image here). Not sure what logic they are applying here.

I have ordered previously from Pet circle while I was living in Sydney. They give an estimated delivery time on the order but you will hardly ever receive the items on time. I always ended up spending double on my pets food because the order never arrived on time and I had to buy from the supermarkets. The only reason I ordered from Pet Circle was because the supermarkets don't always have the brands my pets eat. Now I have moved inter state and placed an order again gave me an estimated date of delivery today but when I track the order it hasn't even been shipped yet. Customer service is shocking they cannot investigate until end of day tomorrow since it's not delayed yet. Even though I told her I am interstate and if it hasn't been shipped yet how can it be delivered by tomorrow. Apparently they cannot do anything until it is overdue. Tomorrow is Friday I am certain it won't be coming tomorrow which means I won't receive it til next week. Instead of being helpful and escalating the issue the rep was more then happy to cancel the order. This is the kind of customer service Pet Circle has.

I don't write many reviews on products, and I do not like when companies go fishing for reviews. Here is mine, with no prompts.

I ordered on a Sunday, received on the Monday early morning! I work a lot, and to do this was super convenient. Thank you pet circle! I didn't have to traipse to the shop to get something for the cat whilst waiting for the delivery. I cannot write how happy I was!

Secondly, the transportation boxes, are tough enough to hold the goods, but weak enough for me to rip up and put in the recycling.

I have used pet circle in the past, and remember being able to change the cat food order with no problems, that was when COVID was more problematic.
I chose this site to review, as I don't understand the bad reviews.

Late last year I purchased dry food from Pet Circle. However, after the estimated delivery had passed, I contacted them and the next day I was advised that my parcel had been lost by the courier and they would send another parcel. I then received two parcels within two days. I advised them I had received my original parcel and I agreed to pay for the parcel instead of leaving it outside for a courier to collect. I was expecting them to send me an invoice through Paypal but instead they tried to take the money out themselves. Good thing I had already blocked them on Paypal after reading about auto-delivery. It is useless trying to communicate with them because they rely heavily on generic responses.

Be warned, this coy. 's delivery agent will abandon your 100+ parcel in your front yard, when you are home. Further it will be in full view of the street & contrary to written instructions to only ever leave at front door.! As a senior citizen who cannot carry heavy loads up stairs this was a very disagreeable experience. Never had this problem with Aust. Post deliveries for other pet suppliers.

I would like to start off by saying pet-circle is one of the best companies or business I have ever purchased from, not only are the prices much more affordable, the auto delivery very convenient but the the customer service is beyond immaculate.
I have never had an issue with pet-circle and I couldn't imagine ever having an issue, they ensure any issues are rectified within a very timely manner. My pet passed away and I had an auto delivery and I asked for a refund and to return as I did not need the dog food anymore, they responded to me via email within less than 30 minutes, sent their sincerest condolences and processed a refund immediately. They also told me I could donate the dog food to a local pet shelter.
I couldn't be any more satisfied and happy with their business, I couldn't recommend them enough for any of your pets needs.

Ordered pet products in Dec. Came home (5/3/20) today and found a parcel from pet circle. Contacted them, was told I had set up an auto delivery - WAIT WHAT! No I didn't! How could I set this up without my knowledge. No email confirmation, no reminder, no invoice! Did they set this up after I purchased the items?

Happy to return the items but they will only give store credit - SERIOUSLY! Never buying from this deceptive company again. Please return my money.

Be careful - hope it doesn't happen to you!

Having ordered a tray of cans of special dog food suggested by our Vet for our dog suffering from Pancreatitis, I belatedly realised he will eat nothing but plain cooked chicken whilst suffering this painful condition and today contacted Pet Circle to see if it was possible to return the tray of cans for a refund. Not only was the cash refund in my PayPal account within the hour but I was stunned to receive the suggestion that instead of having to go to the expense of returning the items to the company, that I donate the goods to a local animal rescue centre of my choice. Pet Circle will certainly be the top of the go to list for pet related purchases in the future. Amazing service as was that of their delightful Customer Service representative "Sam", an asset to any company in her said capacity. A huge THANK YOU Pet Circle.

Order products for my pets. Tracking states that there was an attempt at delivery despite someone being home. I did request for it to be left in the mail box but it was not. No information as to where this parcel is now as the attempt was a week ago. All the customer service could tell me was they would raise an enquiry... so ibam still waiting. Will never shop with them again!

I made a one time purchase last year, was careful not to subscribe to any recurring payments or marketing emails, but BOTH these things happened! The unsibscribe links in their spam didn't even work, so i had to call them. Then, months later I find a recurring payment charge from them. I absolutely never agreed to any recurring payment, yet they tried to blame me! There is obviously some dodgy technical stuff going on, and from talking to their chat agent it's clear they aren't interested in fixing any of it. I'm just glad I was able to get my money back.

Tip for consumers:
I definitely would advise against ordering online, I think my problems were caused by their website malfunctioning.

I have been shopping with Pet Circle for quite some time and whenever there has been a situation when their service did not meet my expectations, they have been more than willing to rectify the issue.
I have been meaning to leave a positive review for a while now and after an incredibly pleasant experience with them (my order was almost 3 weeks delayed), I decided to shine some positive light on an Australian owned business that is doing a great job in my opinion.
I also own an online retail business and if people behaved like responsible adults (if capable, I guess) and took the time to be aware of what they are agreeing to (yes, whenever you order from an online retailer, you are agreeing to their terms of use and that is a legal contract) they probably wouldn't writing incredibly negative reviews about a company that has done nothing but continue to improve their service over the years.
What I am saying is; TERMS AND CONDITIONS, the FAQ and INFORMATION PROVIDED AT CHECK OUT.

When you make yourself aware of this things, you are less likely to be in a situation that propels you to attack an Australian owned business online, that employs Australians, stocks Australian made products and helps to stimulate our economy.
The amount of people who whinge about being "robbed of $1" is a bit pathetic, it's a dollar mate and it never leaves your account. It's also stated clearly in the FAQ on their website, if you bothered to read it.
And I don't think any person who has posted a 1 star review about the couriers has any idea how incredibly stressful it is for a retail business to put the most important stage of their service into the hands of another company, a company they have no control over, absolutely no say in how they operate and still, the retail business will be the ones who are responsible for every time they mess up.
I use a few different couriers for my business and I can tell you, they have all let me down at least twice. The only refunds I have ever had to give my customers was due to couriers failing to deliver on time.
If you are upset about the delivery time, please feel free to comment the name of a courier that is both reliable and cost effective. I would really love to know as I am yet to find one.

Bottom line is, if you have an issue, make sure you have read all the fine print, which, in this case, is actually all in a very large, easy to read font.
And don't contact them when you are angry. That is a person on the other end of the conversation, they have feelings and for all you know, they may have been yelled at by the last 10 people before you. You can either be a decent person and treat them with kindness and respect or you can be an angry jerk like the 10 before you.

Sorry for the long rant but when I asked the lovely young lady from pet circle that I spoke to on the phone earlier this week if it had been a rough day after she actually thanked me for being so nice, the poor girl sounded so defeated when she said "it's hard when people won't even allow you to help them because they are more focused on taking all their anger out on you than actually coming to a resolution"
I can guarantee you that if you approach this or any other business with a good attitude and make sure to educate yourself on the way they do business, you would never find yourself in a bad situation.

Tip for consumers:
Read the terms and conditions, the FAQ and returns policy. Be aware that couriers are third party service providers and they are not just letting you down, but the business as well and be kind to people. Humanity needs more kindness, not to be robbed of whatever kindness and compassion we have left

I was advised by my vet to change the dried food for my elderly dogs. Unfortunately I had just received the next Auto order. A check on the internet showed Pet Circle had the best offer for the new food.
I contacted the Chat Line. Eliza quickly organised the the return of the unwanted item, at no cost to me and gave me 100% credit to be offset against the new food. In addition she updated by auto order detail to reflect the change.

I would like to commend Pet Circle for their care, compassion and love they have. I recently bought a parka for my dof and unfortunately when I received the parka it was a little too small. I exchanged that for the larger size wit no trouble whatsoever and what made me shed tears was the girl from Pet Circle said to me "no need to return the parka that is too small for your dog, instead can you please donate it to your local shelter or RSPCA or for a dog in need". Oh my goodness I couldn't believe that - What beautiful words to hear. PetCircle cares about disadvantaged needy animals. Ready to donate the parka for a needy dog instead of getting the return. What beautiful people. Love Pet Circle. You are SIMPLY THE BEST OF ALL. Thank you xx

I want to thank your staff for being so helpful and polite to me recently when I purchased some soup for my cat. My cat suffers constipation and I have got her diet right so I was very stressed to get her what she needed. I was a pest but I wasn't sure if you received my emails as replies were not quick due to the extra load from customers wanting to get things for their animals too. I am very happy with hour service and your supply. Her food arrived on Friday so I am very happy that she will be ok for a while. Thanks again, 10 out of 10 I. M not adding a photo bedcause i don't want everybody buying it and you running out of it. MY CAT COMES FIRST.

Customers, BE AWARE Of Pet Circle's "Auto Delivery" Claims. I, like so many have been caught up in this fraudulent practice by Pet Circle. Despite being assured, following communication by Chat & Email that the delivery would be intercepted and a refund processed back to my account which hasn't happened. The unwanted goods arrived on my doorstep a week later - (delivered on a Public Holiday!.) Requests by email (they don't answer their phone) have gone unanswered!.
It's a shame I didn't take the time to check their Customer Reviews.

My first time ordering with Pet Circle and I could not be more disappointed. I placed an order for dog food on 29/11/22, money for the order was taken from my account but no delivery also no order confirmation. When I contacted them several days later via email I was told they'd look into it. Today 10/12/22 they email me with a refund because they've run out of stock. It took them 12 days to work out that they did not have the dog food I ordered?! Shotty service. I will be looking elsewhere!

BEWARE, they charged us $159 payment... what? What the hell for? Noticed the last time we purchased from them back in March was the same price, obviously some recurring payment. I didnt receive an email invoice or receipt, nothing! Only noticed a charge on my credit card. I find this fraudulent and will be contacting the ombudsman and getting my bank to refund me and charge back from Petcircle!
