SCAM! STAY AWAY!
August 20, 2020

Ordered Capstar on July 28,2020. Paid for tracking and didn't receive it, called August 4,2020 and got charged again for tracking, so I called again and was told my bank had my money and just wait for processing to be completed. I asked why the charge said it was an international charge and was informed that they are based out of the UK. NO WHERE ON THE SHIPPING PAGE DOES IT MENTION THIS. I told him I wanted to cancel my order and get my money back because it's coming from the UK and that I am still waiting on packages from 2015 that are coming from the UK, his reply was if I don't want to keep it, just return it when I receive it and then I could get my money back, I asked him when will I receive it since I don't have tracking, he said it could take up to 20 days. After arguing with the customer service about how it needs to say something about it coming from the UK and how it can take up to 20 days to receive the order on the shipping page, my husband called the bank and disputed the charges.
Today August 20,2020 I received a call from the manager of the company, I guess? Wanting to know why I was disputing the charges. I informed him that I did not know that it was coming from the UK and how I still have packages I'm waiting on from the UK. I told him he needs to put somewhere on the checkout shipping page about how they are based in the UK and how it could take up to 20 days to receive the order. He started to argue with me that it's on their website, he doesn't have to put it on that page. He asked if I received my package yet, I replied no and if you go to their website to track my order it doesn't even show that I placed an order! I told him that this sounded like a scam and he told me not to accuse him of being a scammer since he's not accusing me of receiving my package, he told me he didn't need this kind of business and if I didn't want my order all I had to do was call and they would refund me my money, I told him that's not what the guy told me before. Then he wanted to argue about how his business is ballooning and has been for the past 10 years and how he didn't need to hear this and that I shouldn't call him or his business a scam.

*Scam Alert*
July 17, 2017

Early this morning, I placed an order at www.petcaresupplies.com. Shortly thereafter, I received a flagged email stating that "Norton Shopping Guarantee (sent from nortonshoppingguarenter.com) had been chosen to guarantee my order. Since this has not been something I have ever seen from Norton, and Gmail flagged it as suspicious, I immediately googled to see if there was even such a service offered through Norton. After some online research and speaking with my financial institution, we concluded that there is no such guarantee through Norton, as they only provide internet security, not consumer buyer protection. On top of that, I then looked into whether the site itself (www.petcaresupplies.com) is legitimate. From every single site response that came up, it looks as though customers who have ordered from this company: a) have found out through either customs charges, or contacting the 800 #s listed on the site, that this company is NOT located within the United States. Yet, their site says they can be contacted between the hours of 9am-6pm CST. Central standard time, as well as the 800 #s without the "+1" suggested the company was located in the U.S. After I called the 800 #s provided (as suggested by my bank's online dispute center), I only got an answering machine with a recording stating to leave my name and number so someone could contact me during open hours. The voice on the recording had a middle eastern accent, suggesting the "company" may be located in the middle east. One of my biggest concerns is the DECEPTION this "company" uses to seem trustworthy and lure customers in offering lower prices than other sites offering the same pet flea medications. Had I thought for one moment that this company was not legit, I would never have entered my name, email, my home address, billing info or debit card number and completed checkout. But because the site claims to be secure, and appears as real as any U.S. website, I trusted it was. Now, I wish I hadn't! I only "saved" myself about $20 shopping through them, and from what other reviews have stated, I probably will not receive the actual k9 advantix I tried to order. Instead, I will (maybe) receive some strangely cheap package that looks nothing like the actual k9 advantix packaging, with some chemical (who knows what kind) not licensed to be sold in this country. My puppy is 12 weeks old and I will NOT be putting whatever may come from this company onto him. If anything, some reviews state that whatever chemical arrived in their order gave their dog a reaction and offered no protection but made things worse for their pet. There was one "good" review, but who knows if that was one of their employees trying to make themselves look legit?! My bank was kind enough to cancel my debit card to prevent future hits by this company. But now I am out the cost of purchase. The bank said it is not likely I will ever get my money back, they cannot stop the pre authorized debit I made when I completed the online purchase, I am out a $10 card replacement fee, I am without a debit card for 1-2 weeks, and my personal identity information is floating around out there in cyber space, accessible by God knows who. My puppy will also NOT be protected by k9 advantix now, and I will need to repurchase the product from another outlet in order for him to be. My suggestion: AVOID THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY ALTOGETHER. LIKE OTHER REVIEWERS HAD STATED, IT WOULD HABE BEEN BETTER TO PAY THE EXTRA $20 AND GET A LEGITIMATE PRPDUCT THAT IS SAFE TO USE ON MY DOG. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CARD NUMBER AND PERSONAL INFORMATION. IF YOU DO, YOU WILL ONLY REGRET IT! :(
