Do not use this company. Like many others have posted, they just want your money. My sweet fur baby was missing for 6 days. Got a random text from a number about the service which we jumped on given the situation only to find out it was a scam. I emailed requesting a possible refund and was told they were going to report me to local authorities for making a false claim as it's illegal. I contacted again but got no response (probably because I called them out on trying to scare me). 2 days later I emailed again as I never got the follow up email with login instructions from the first transaction. Never got a response but got an email stating I forgot to attach a picture (only sign up for call alerts not poster). Emailed and got no response. They don't do a darn thing put play on people's emotional distress.

All the 5 star reviews are fake... notice how they all sound and are written very similarly? I hope everyone who's reading this takes the time to do their homework; even a simple Google search will do it!

Deciding to seek online support soon after my pet went missing, I found the Pet Amber Alert website and immediately signed up for their services. Unfortunately, I neglected to do any further research on their organization prior to submitting payment to them. Sad to say, they basically took my money and ran. They had initially promised to get back to me within 72 hours, but 6 days have gone by and still nothing. I have made several desperate attempts to contact them, but soon discovered that it is virtually impossible to do so because they simply cannot be reached by any method of communication. They do not answer their phones, never respond to e-mails (I've sent them four, so far), and no one is ever in their chatroom. My experience tells me that this organization does nothing but prey on innocent people in their most vulnerable state, and I feel that this is despicable, deplorable, and inexcusable behavior, and one of the most cruel and cold-hearted things anyone can possibly do. Why is this company still in existence?

Tip for consumers:
This is a SCAM organization set up to take advantage of people who are at their most vulnerable.

I paid for a service but then was not prompted to give any information about my pet. I immediately emailed them, as they say they have 24-hour email communication, but 10.5 hours later I had heard nothing. So, I called them during their business hours and received a message that it was outside their business hours (which it wasn't). So, I waited and emailed and called again. The woman on the phone said she'd refer me to their technical team and then promptly disconnected me. I then received a response to my second email that said I was refunded my money in a rather sterile, unwelcoming email that didn't answer the questions I had posed in my two emails. This is far too unprofessional and worrisome for a service that requires a prompt response. I recommend lostmykitty.com or its equivalent lostmydoggy.com. That's what I switched to.

I placed my pet alert and I had not received posters or anything. I had emailed them and calling and had not received a response. After paying $189.00 I expected at least a real person to return my call instead of an answering service.

Absolutely terrible terrible service and performance.
Got payment confirmation, but no email confirmation that the alert and posts were sent out. I emailed, and chatted online to no response. When I called, I could only get receptionists who can take "messages" to pass along. I did this twice to no avail.
In the end, I got a response from "Martha" after waiting for a response for HOURS. Who claimed my request was sent out... ABSOLUTELY FALSE. I asked for proof, and then she quickly posted my request on their website. When I asked for a refund, she said she would sent me email confirmation. After an hour of no response or email, I asked again. Her response? "the alert was cancelled and refunded" AND THEN JUST LEFT.
Absolutely terrible, I will need to wait and see if she actually processed my refund.

They promise a lot, do nothing-we didn't notice them, that they did anything from what they promised, they just got money and then suggested in sms for us to pay them more money for something, that they already promised to do and had to do when we first paid them money! It really sucks, when people take advantage of you, especially when you need help sooooo much!

I paid for the service transaction ID: ******* of $129.00 and this company only sent an email confirming the transaction. I have several friends and families in our neighborhood and none of them get the alert. I tried to contact and call this company for an update of my lost pet but no one gotten back with me at all. My pet's image is not even on their website list. I want my money back. I hope whoever has a similar experience here - not getting the full service should write a review to stop this scam.

Below is the email for what I have gotten from them and that's it! No follow up or whatsoever.

Dear Grace Noynay, we know how upsetting it is when a pet goes missing. Please know that we are working on Inuyashi's case. The alert has started processing and the whole process will complete in under 12-24 hours. You will receive another confirmation email with login instructions once the alert is succesfully completed. Even though there are no refunds once an alert is submitted it is still very important to inform us when your pet is found, otherwise valuable time is wasted which could be used for animals who are still lost.

If you have questions, you'll find many answers in our Frequently Asked Questions and Terms of Service.

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would. I paid for a full pet amber alert on Friday, August 25th with assurance from the website that my alert would be sent out within 12 to 24 hours. I sent it out on a Friday at around 2pm, thinking that was plenty of time, and with no warning from them that weekends might delay the service. On Saturday, when I had not received confirmation of my alert after almost 24 hours, I tried chatting to ask when my alert would be going out as we were getting very worried about our kitty and knew that time is of the essence and why I paid $80+ for this service. We wanted the texts and faxes out and wanted to print the fliers we paid for and spread them around our neighborhood. When I called, someone told me they couldn't do anything except take my info and have someone call me back asap. I left my info and waited 2 hours. When no one contacted me still, I called again and got the same answer. By Monday, I was ready for a refund. My alert still hadn't gone out. I called all morning, I believe 14 times, with no answer at all. By the afternoon I received an email confirming our alert had gone out. Too little, too late. I have been calling, emailing and "chatting" almost every day since Monday August 28th, and the few times anyone answers their answering service (for which you have to wait through several minutes of ringing), all they can do is take your info and tell you someone will call you back. No one has EVER called me back. I have tried their "chat" on their website, seemingly unmanned. No one responds, and when I emailed, I got an automatic response to only ONE of my messages, and when I responded, no one answered again. From my perspective, if you get lucky, this service might help you, but if you have any questions or problems at all, these people come across as complete charlatans preying on people worried sick about their missing pets. I have received dozens of spam emails telling me not to waste time and to get the word out about my missing pet as soon as possible, which was like salt in the wound when I spent money I couldn't afford to spend in the hopes that it would be the best possible way for me to get the word out about my cat, in the meantime I was unable to post the fliers I paid for and the alerts were not going out and I didn't have any more money to spend on alternate services while I waited to hear from someone from Pet Amber Alert. I would be very cautious about using this service. See what else is out there and try calling someone and speaking with them BEFORE you give them any money. The free service I found on Facebook was more helpful and useful than this ended up being, it's called Pawboost. They have the option of paying for additional services, but as I said, I couldn't afford anymore, so I just used the free option and got almost 100 shares and lots of comments and support from people in my area.

Tip for consumers:
Don't do it. Find another service. Call first, pay second!

Horrible Customer support

I would give this service 0 Stars if possible! When you lose a pet you go thru so much stress and you want to make sure that you can rely on services like this company promises. I submitted a lost pet alert on Saturday evening and I got an email right away saying that they are processing my request already and that to complete will take 12-24 hrs. Also they told me that I will receive an email with a login to see the progress of my request. I did not hear anything from them since that moment. Sunday evening I have seen that my post under Lost Pets was gone and did not hear anything from this company. I sent an email right away to their customer support - no response. I contacted their Support Specialist on Chat and asked what is the status - after waiting for a couple of hours, she answers and says that my request is being processed. Ok so I relayed on this information. Monday morning still feeling uneasy I call the company; I get the receptionist and I am told that nobody can provide me any status because they are in a staff meeting and I will be called back. This was at 9am. Around 12pm I called again asking what is going on. I was told that they are still in a meeting. I tried to contact the Support Specialist on Chat again and after a long wait she is telling me that my credit card was declined. Ok, total pain, my bank is very skittish about "weird" charges. I asked the person on the Chat how do I update my credit card, should I submit a new request etc. Nothing... no response. I begged her saying that I am desperate and I need to know what to do. Nothing zero response. I called again customer service this time choosing to open a request over the phone. I got a message to leave my phone number and I will be called in a few minutes. It has been 9 hrs now and no call... no email nothing. I submitted a second request on their website and besides an email telling me that they are working my request no communication again. It may work if everything is perfect but if you need customer support you are doomed. What upset me the most is that they had no consideration for the stress that you are under in those moments. Luckily my dog was found due to another company(pawboost) and he is home safe and sound. I will make sure that everybody knows including Better Business Bureau about the "amazing" experience that PetAmberAlert provides.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Dont waste your money, more importantly dont waste valuable and precious time. Every second, minute, hour counts in finding your lost pet! USE ANOTHER SERVICE! My story: Filled out the application to have my dog Red's info and picture posted on the Pet Amber Alert website on May 2,2017 before noon. 24 hours later it was still not posted. The other sites, Lostmydoggie.com, Fido Finder, Paw Boost, PetFBI and Lost found Pets USA posted the flyer immediately. I contacted the company through MARTHA (live chat) on May 3rd to see why he hadnt posted, they said they would push him up on the list and get him posted. They finally did. Then around 11 AM May 3rd (the same day)I decided to do the Amber Alert. I am desperate to find my dog. I chose the 10 mile radius package for 49.95, paid 39.95 (10% discount), which was supposed to send alerts to residents phones, Cellular and landlines within a 10 mile radius, regardless of their privacy setting. Registration time 12/24 hours! An Amber alert did not go out May 4th,, after registration. So, I called the number on the site that evening and finally after a couple attempts and about 30 rings, got a live person. A man, who told me the person I need to talk to is not there and he would have them call me. So, by noon May 5th, I had still not received a call. I called them. Got the same man and the same answer. Not available. The rest of the day May 5th, still no Amber alert. It hadnt gone out all weekend! I know this because I started asking neighbors and friends in the area if they had received an amber alert for our dog, which they had not, nor had I or my family. Suspicious about the service now, I contacted a couple of the vets they were supposed to have sent the flyers to, and they had not received it, but they showed a long list of contacts they say they had sent the flyers to. How legitimate is this service? I am sorry I wasted such important time with this service. This was not what it was made out to be. My bank is now working on reversing the charges. What a crooked business. Not sure how he got praise from the media.

Facts:

1. On Sunday June 24,2018 (just after midnight) I submitted a request to PetAmberAlert for $79.99 to initiate an alert for my missing dog.

2. My bank account was debited the $79.99 an hour after I my request was made.

3. I immediately received an email which contains this text "The alert has started processing and the whole process will complete in under 12-24 hours. You will receive another confirmation email with login instructions once the alert is succesfully [sic] completed. Even though there are no refunds once an alert is submitted it is still very important to inform us when your pet is found". No such email has been received, 4 days after they took my money.

3. Their FAQ states "We provide extensive documentation with every alert. You will receive an alert coverage map and a full detailed report (including name, address, phone, time of contact, etc) of every neighbor/business contacted by us for your verification." No alert coverage map or anything of the sort was received.

4. On June 26,60 hours after I submitted my request I phoned the "company" only to discover I was talking to a call center, not PetAmberAlert. They said they would forward my message for "Mark" to handle and call me back right away. They added that "Mark" is to only contact person for the company and there are no other employees to tal with. Mark never called me back.

5. On June 27 I phoned again with the same results as above, no one exist at PetAmberAlert to speak to, only call center employees that have no affiliation with PetAmberAlert.

6. I submitted a claim to my bank to reverse the transaction.

Conclusion: Based on the above fact, PetAmberAlert is a scam. Do your research, don't get caught as I did by their fancy website and bogus claims. You will notice the positive reviews about them here on sitejabber have no actual facts and appear to have been created by people other than actual customers.

Spend your hard earned money elsewhere and run away from this fraudulent "business".

I am not going to go into detail about the package I paid for because it's similar to the reviews from the other unhappy customers. Here's what I will say... They have NO customer support via email, phone, or chat. They hide behind a answering service. The operators no nothing about the company just take messages. I am pretty sure that their testimonials on the website are fake. I called many of the phone numbers listed and was unable to reach anyone. Very convenient for them. I am pretty sure they don't have pet detectives working on anybody's order. That's just marketing fluff on their website. In fact, their site is out of date. They haven't posted anything to their blog in a long time. Not a good sign.

When my cat first went missing I tried Pawboost which is a fairly good service. However, I decided that I needed to send out another alert since it's been several months that my cat has been missing. Out of curiosity, I decided to try this service to see what the difference was between the two services, PetAmberAlerts and Pawboost.

I've had it with companies taking advantage of people. This company either better straighten up or they are going to have a reputation management nightmare on their hands.

Do not use this service. It is fake. Don't enter your credit card info. My card got charged even though I was unable to sign their so-called online contract. There is no customer service or live person when you call. I called credit card company to cancel transaction and was told the charge was pending. How can they charge you when you haven't agreed to or signed their contract.

DO NOT PAY THESE FRAUDS!
After using another facebook site that did what they said for the price I got a message from this site... so I logged in to check it out and saw the voicemail blast and the flyers. So I thought like anyone else would great more ways to find my pet!

Wrong this company took my money on a weds and NEVER sent me any copies proofs of either, the ONLY thing they do is send generic copy and paste guides from google to your email...
I called the company several times and nobody answered and my vmails went unreturned.
Friday I went to the animal shelter and they hadn't even heard of this company let alone any notices from them to watch for my pet.
Today Monday I get a reply back to a email I sent saying I was filing fraud charges to the bbb and my bank to reverse payment... I got a reply back an hour later...
They claimed they canceled and refunded me 2 days ago... I went and looked and nothing refunded in my bank...
Either way they canceled me but didn't even have the decency to call or email me this happened 2 days ago?
So a total of 5 days have passed after paying this site for my lost cat to send me the flyers so I could go to staples and make color copies... That's 5 more days she is gone:(

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

First, it is very difficult to get anybody on the phone. Tried several times at all different days of the week and never was able to get through. I was trying to get proof of the alerts they were supposed to send out via the package we purchased for our lost dog. My account did not show any evidence that any alerts online or via Social Media had taken place. I finally had an online chat with their customer service person. She was able to show me the faxes that were sent but I asked her twice about showing me the online alerts and social media alerts and instead of answering she just stopped responding to me in the chat. I inquired a few times to see if she was still there and got no response. For a "service" oriented business in which dealing with people is the key, their customer service is horrible. I regret ever purchasing their service.

Purchased a Lost pet service that offered calling homes with an amber alert type recording. There are many services that offer your pet to be listed on their website along with notifying local businesses, vets and shelters and a printable poster all for free. We received nothing, This was a total waste of time and my money. We contacted many people in the area, businesses as well, we couldn't find anyone that received this alert. I spent a week making endless attempts to contact this company through, phone calls, messages, emails, chats, with never one response. They say they will call you back but don't. We have lost priceless time trying to work with this pitiful company. Time is of the essence. We want nothing short of a full refund of our $119.
I wanted to attach my reciept but it only takes 300 x 300 and i couldn't get it edited to that exact size.
Good luck getting what you paid for, any help or any refund
Run from this site and also Findtoto.com. They owe people alot of apologies, their poor service if there is any, wastes the precious time to find your pet. Findtoto. Com is exactly the same worthless. No communication and can't get a refund. We were desperate and they know it.
