It wasn't only me that ended up getting a horrible Staph infection. I mentioned that I got staph to another member of Perdido Health Club and they told me someone else got it too. I talked to the person and they set me a picture of their infection that they got at Perdido Health Club. I am just hoping the infection fully heals and doesnt have any lasting effects. This gym is not sanitary no matter what lies they tell you.

Another member got a staph infection so its not just me. The gym is not sanitary no matter what lies they tell you about how they supposedly clean.

This gym looks straight out of the 80's. Its really outdated and not even good old musty smelling place.
They know this, so they have to put fake good reviews to try and make it seem good. Like this one where they had a person named Liz Tourney (Elizabeth Tourney) have 3 reviews. They must really think people are stupid and will believe it. Go to another gym, several people got staph infections, all they do is deny it and then they put up fake reviews hoping people will be dumb enough to believe the good reviews.

This gym is digusting and not worth the cost.

Been coming to the gym here for a long time and I can tell you Perdido health club never actually cleans properly no matter what they claim. They depend on members to clean and the majority of them don't even bother. Plus they aren't properly trained on how to properly use the cleaning agents that have a dwell time of 10 min for it to be effective as a disinfectant and no one ever leaves it on there that long.
The most you will see is members giving a half effort wipe of the machine. Never had any infections like this in my life and I ended up getting a bad Staph Infection here at Perdido health club and so did someone else from the dirty equipment and mats they have hanging up there. I had to go to the doctor and they have me on zyvox hopefully it clears up the infection soon.

Perdido Health Club is not a clean gym. I ended up with bad Staph Infection, another member did too.
