I'm amazed at how poorly run a long established business is. After several attempts at fixing the same problem, we are waiting once again for the "parts" and appointment. Problem is no one knows what's going on. Babies in the background when you call service. Tell me my dishwasher and stove is on the ticket yet my refrigerator is the problem! Parts are in yet there not in! Bottom line, no one knows and no one cares.
I have an extended warranty on my LG refrigerator. I have been without an operating refrigerator/freezer for over 6 weeks. Three attempts to repair the unit have all failed. They have no idea what is wrong and when I call customer service they could care less. I wonder how long would any executive at PC Richards do without a refrigerator? I am disappointed and disgusted with the service I have received to date.

My daughter purchased a kitchen set, Refrigerator, Stove, Dishwasher, Stove, Microwave. Upon her purchase she put extra warranty on all her appliances. Her LC stove oven broke down 1 year ago! Yes 1 year ago. It took that long for her oven to be repaired...Eventually she ended buying a new one out of pocket. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

On Thursday January 18,2024, my wife, Krista Jurs, purchased a new dishwasher/installation at your Bellmore NY location. In the initial amount of $652.77. Installation was scheduled for Friday January 19,2024. I used a vacation day to be off for the installation (value $600).
Dishwasher install attempt #1
On Friday January 19,2024, the installers arrived with a damaged/cracked dishwasher that they could not install. The installers advised me that they (1) could not get a replacement dishwasher and (2) to call the Bellmore NY store and speak to the salesman - Anthony. Anthony was rude, curt and unhelpful. I received a callback from Gerald, who apologized for his employee Anthony. Gerald offered a $150 credit which I accepted. Ultimately, the replacement installation was rescheduled for Saturday January 20,2024. So far one day of my life has been wasted.

On Saturday January 20,2024 a new and different team of installers arrived with a new dishwasher. These installers were not proficient in the English language and it was difficult communicating. They installed the new machine and left. Upon leaving I ran a test cycle to ensure it was in working order. During the cycle water began spraying from the door and flooding my kitchen floor (see photos/video). I canceled the cycle and immediately called the Bellmore store and spoke to Jeff. Luckily I was home to stop the flooding or else my new kitchen floors would be ruined. Jeff arranged for a new machine and new installers.

A fourth dishwasher arrived in the afternoon of January 20,2024 and was installed by a "Fernando." He discovered that the flooding issue was caused by the first install team "capping" the drainage line with a yellow plastic cap (see attached photo). The subsequent installers NEGLECTED to remove the cap causing the machine to flood the kitchen as there was no way for the dishwasher to pump the water into the drainage line.
Finally the dishwasher was installed. Two days of my life now wasted.
I subsequently filed a better business bureau complaint, made a google review and was contacted/offered a "service contract" from a Rich Stewart on Monday January 22,2024. Obviously I wouldn't want your employees working on my appliances after such a display of incompetence made during the initial install so I declined. I then received a call from a Mr Russo who offered to refund me some fictional "COD installation" charge that doesn't actually exist, in addition to a gift card. I declined the fictional cash on delivery charge (still have no idea what this guy was talking about) and do not want a gift card that will lead to you having more business. Mr Russo was not helpful and he subsequently hung up the phone offering me zero satisfaction.
Waited a year for Subzero fridge to come in. Went to check on the status to get an idea if it was still arriving on time. Employee assured me that because I had the PO next to the invoice it was guaranteed and not to worry showing me the computer screen. A few weeks later called that it was in and had to pay the balance. Scheduled the appointment for inspection of the area (because it was a commercial fridge) and the delivery. They came to inspect and said everything was good and ready for delivery. A person called to confirm from store. A person called after that from delivery to confirm and told me I would be getting a text with time frame of delivery. Received that text. Waited next day until an hr after time frame ended and no one came. Called the store and they put me on hold and came back in to tell me they can't locate the fridge! What? I told them to call me back and they need to find where it is. Called THEM and still no one knew anything! It was a Sat so I waited until Mon. Finally someone called Mon afternoon and said we never had your fridge.I don't know why they said they did. What! I confirmed 3 times had to come and pay the balance showed me the screen to assure me it was in and now it was never in? Full of crap! They made a mistake and gave it to someone else and now covering their butt! They are dishonest and they don't care about their customers!
At least have some class and own up to it.
Went to the closest store (North Haven) was greeted by a sales person in a leisure suit and all he did was argue; left after 5 minutes. Went to the Newington store and found a very knowledgeable, competent sales person. Bought a combo wall oven (2 ovens) through him, it was installed & 1 of the ovens didn't work.
Service call was useless: response was that a service order had been issued to a separate company; never heard from them & when I contacted them was told they had no service order for the unit.
Still waiting for repair from Bosch 2 weeks later. COMPANY HAS GONE DOWNHILL; AVOID IT!

I bought a washing machine for my elder mom and was told they'don't install under the sink. They knew it was an apartment when I said the number and the letter. A waste of time.
Please think twice before engaging this business. We bought a new fridge that started giving problems within the first year. Their service rep came 3 times and did nothing to help. The fourth time they diagnosed the 'problem ' and ordered the wrong part. The fifth time they installed a different part than they said they would. After he left the fridge stopped working. Called right away to see if he could return and was told ge was too busy for the rest if the day. Fridge currently not working.
Absolutely awful!
Absolutely horrible service. Hung on me more than 3 times when I called and waited for over 1 hour and I waited 6 weeks to fix my electric stove. I bought insurance years ago, and I explained in full detail about the issue. It seems like they still did not notice that I need 2 parts not just 1 part of the stove.
The store is great and i am comfortable with everything that they offer.
But do not buy the maytag mvw6500mw0.
Very noisy and you will get headaches from it.
Control panel not good, have to press many times to establish your buttons ti start your wash.
Purchased microwave plus installation- microwave didn't fit- installers ruined tile around range- when I wouldn't sign for delivery they signed it themselves. Customer service says "not their problem" call installer. Installer won't address the issue at all. So I'm stuck with damages and no microwave.
I ordered an item. 30 days after I paid, no response. I used the chat to contact customer service. I was informed that the item was out of stock. I asked to cancel the order. They said that they could not cancel it online and I had to call. It is not possible to cancel online, so I have to wait on hold for an hour to cancel. All they did was take my money and I got nothing. This place is a scam. Terrible service. Never Again:-(

Shop on another site. You cannot return items for a refund (even when PC Richard never shipped and fulfilled the order) without hours on the phone. There is no online form. The online chat people will not do it. This place is a scam.

Purchased LG washer & dryer 12/9/22. Receipt states items would be delivered in 3 weeks. 6 weeks later they finally were delivered. Paid for delivery & installation & the delivery guys did hook up the machines however the dryer door needed to be reversed. As of now I need to reach over the door to load laundry into dryer. Did not notice this until after delivery guys left as they had machines running & advised me to let them complete cycle. Reached out to PC Richards & was told that it's an additional $50 to reverse the door. I have purchased 3 dryers in the last 30 years from Home Depot & install charge ALWAYS included the door opening to whichever side necessary. This place is just the worst appliance store. When I replace my kitchen appliances I'll go back to Home Depot.
Tried to buy a new refrigerator,took our current measurements to the Hanover store. Picked out a new one,but the size and the opening were questionable. They charged us 50$ to send two men out to check if it would fit. They came unprepared with no information. We had to call the store to get the info. They said it wouldn't fit and left. After five trips back to the store and no help.we cancelled the order. The sales person seemed more interested in the next customer than helping us. Goodby PCRichards
PC Richards delivered a dehumidifier to my home a few months ago ( February 2023) in the process the delivery truck took down the power line running from my home to my workshop. I contacted the company they told me to send a quote and pictures of the damage and they would take care of it. I did as was asked all they did was give me the runaround for $2500 worth of damage and refused to cover the damage that their delivery truck caused. Repeated e-mails and phone calls resulted in no action and steadily denying the claim stating that it was not covered as their responsibility. They still have not taken any action as of May 2023.

I purchased a very expensive Tempur-Pedic bed with electronic base. Three weeks after the purchase, the base stopped functioning. PC Richards would not exchange the base and referred me to the manufacturer who could not care less that it was not functioning. It's been over a week and I am sitting here with a broken base and cannot get anyone to assist. I've been on the phone multiple times with each department with the store with the store manager Justin in Manch.and no one is concerned. It is bizarre!

I have had issues with multiple appliances and PC Richards customer service has been very unhelpful, disrespectful and rude even when issues have arrived due to their lack of communication. This past Saturday a fridge was supposed to be delivered and the delivery man never showed up. Customer service blamed me for not being home (when I was) and did not offer any solution to rectify the situation. I don't recommend.

Purchased a Bosch dishwasher without problem! Installer came and told me he had to replace all the valves that to which the dishwasher was connected. Since we have a new kitchen, I questioned it and he said I would have to sign a waiver saying any water damage that occurred would not be his responsibility if I did not allow him to change all the valves. I know a little about plumbing but am not an expert. I suspected something fishy and said no. I asked my usual plumber to come over--which he did approx 15m after the installer (NOT a licensed plumber) left. There was NOTHING wrong with the valves!

We purchased a brand new washer which doesn't work. The lid mechanism to lock the machine is completely missing. Customer service stated the that the best they could do is send out a service person in almost 2 weeks. I called the store to see if I could physically return it since it was still new, but they said they would NOT take it back. Now it's holiday season and my family is out of clean clothes even with now owning a $600 washing machine from PC Richards. Next time I'll be buying my appliances at Home Depot or Lowes. I truly believe they sent us this defective washer to punish us for not buying their extended warranty. Buyer beware!
Salesperson Paul in Whippany sold a a dishwasher on March 7th. What he neglected to mention to us at the time of the transaction was there were 31 people ahead of us waiting the delivery of the same unit. Three weeks later we are number 18 on the list. Expected arrival date is middle to late April. We have purchased tens of thousands of dollars at PC Richard over the past couple of decades. We will not purchase one more thing there ever again all due to the dishonesty of Salesperson Paul. Zero stars

Viking fridge. I got the 10 year warranty. Never worked right from day one. They have been repairing it for the last year. They ice maker had to be repaired 5 times (think lemon laws), the fridge does not cool, my food spoils quickly, the ice cream in the freezer is melting and still they refuse to replace (which is what i paid for). I called 5-6 times in the last week trying to speak to a manager, I'm always told 'you will get an email with updates' or 'a manger will call you back no later than tomorrow' never heard back and still my fridge doesn't work. I have no idea where to go from here.

Their customer service is really lousy. Don't buy any appliances that would not be serviced by PC Richards. The current problem I'm having is that for Viking they use an outside contractor who keeps making bogus repairs rather than certify that the fridge is not working so he'll keep getting paid for unnecessary parts and repairs.

Viking fridge, range, range hood, dish washer. The range had to be replaced because of a manufacturer's defect, the dish washer stopped working after 3 years, the range hood does not suction and make extremely loud noise when turned on and now the fridge is not cooling.

On 8/6/2023 my new refrigerator I bought in January 2023 stopped working. They sent a technician out he told me the computer system was gone and with all the other troubles I have had with it, he's sure it's defective and I should have bought a Samsung! I then called cooperative to find out what decision has been made concerning my refrigerator and I was told that their technician put in his report I refused service, and I Continually told him I never said I never wanted service and it was his technician who said the refrigerator was defective. My word ment nothing. Since then no some has stepped up to correct the problem with my refrigerator. I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold for over 50 mins and had to hang up. To this date 8/31/23 NO one from cooperate and or service company have reached out to me! Shame on you for treating your customers at such a low level of customer service and even worse at cooperate level. You need to take an immediate look at who is representing your company at cooperate level.
