PayPal's newest scam

For the last 2 months I've been dealing with a nightmare! I have PayPal credit and PayPal Mastercard and I have payments set up on autopay with my checking account, so out of the blue I get my payment returned stating insufficient funds so I call my bank and they said that's crazy and my account is fine and they don't even see PayPal trying to submit payment so I end up with 29 dollar fee and call PayPal credit and I do payment over phone and it's fine so again this month it happens so I call again and they said PayPal said my checking account was closed which is a lie so this time I pay off my cards and again PayPal stops it so I do it over the phone because the %#*! Shady PayPal is racking up on fees now 40 dollars for each returned payment nice little scam PayPal but luckily synchrony bank realizes PayPal is at fault and takes care of fees and I completely close out everything dealing with PayPal the scumbag of all paying sites

I bought a product from WOOFIXY using PAYPAL. The does not work but to get a refund, they want me to send the product back to China. The product is $40 and the shipping cost to return is $120. Duh who would send it back. WOOFIXY acknowledges product does not work but they won't refund the money. I escalate to PAYPAL and they side with WOOFIXY. Total scam and fraud all around. I will never buy anything using PAYPAL again.

PayPal is scammers heaven

I bought one Makita tools set in Ebay kleinanzeige and paid the seller with PayPal with customer purchase protection. The seller was a scammer and immediately erase all information from Ebay and disappeared.After few days he gave false UPS tracking number to Paypal and they sent me email that the sale is closed. I have checked with UPS and the only information I got from them was that My name and address does not match with the name and the address of the receiver. Classic scam. The seller does not answered my emails and I opened case with Paypal claiming purchase protection and money reimburse. Today I received email from PayPal that my claim is rejected because the seller provide tracking number and the goods are delivered.Where and when...does not matter. I have tried to reopen the case, because I received NOTHING, but MF Paypal act as a mafia. They are the Judge and the Prosecutor. Once they refuse to pay back your money you are done. I have asked to have the real name or some useful information about the seller because I want to chase this scammer and to make official claim in the Police, but they have firewall. Zero customer protection. PayPal is a platform where every scammer feel untouchable. Instead of Customer protection, PayPal should have Criminals and scammers protection policy.
I am very very disappointed. Very bad!

Warning - PayPal will NOT protect you from Scam Sellers. I purchased 2 tops from Modlily. I was unfamiliar with Modlily and I used PayPal because I thought I would be protected. The items arrived and were way off on sizing. I ordered an XL (I normally wear a Large) as suggested on the sizing charts. I could not even get one of the items over my head it was so small. I followed the seller's return policy, I returned the items via USPS (as instructed by Modlily) I have confirmed tracking that the items were delivered. Modlily would not refund my money, so I filed a complaint with PayPal. Needless to say - I have supplied all the supporting documents that I did everything possible to return the items for a refund. For a MONTH I have been in touch with PayPal repeatedly. They are denying my claim as they say they cannot track the shipment as delivered. This is because USPS only provides tracking with City, State and Zip code - not the actual address. What a huge waste of time. PayPal does NOT protect YOU.

Today after 30 plus months of generating income for Pay-Pal they froze my account for an alleged debt of $176.00 from 6 years ago THEY FEEL MAY BE TIED TO MY ACCOUNT. I contacted Pay-Pal to find out the details and spoke with a woman named Jessica in their dispute department. She could not provide any details as to what the debt was and why it was not dealt with 6 years ago. Only could tell me that it may be tied to my account and in the meantime they would freeze activity on my account. The funds in my account far surpass their claims of $176.00 however they will nor release funds until such time they have reviewed this. The account could have several thousand dollars and they will not release any of the money due to the $176.00 so called debt after 6years they cannot prove. I have generated sales in excess of $100,000.00 over the last two and a half years for them which they have received revenue. I have purchased another $40,000.00 in purchases which they have received the revenue. Now you are going to dispute a so called debt you cannot prove for $176.00 6 years later. PAY-PAL really needs to wake up as I will not take this sitting down. WBJ

Recently my son and I ordered off of PayPal two kyaks, looked legit, on paypal, but when ordered the money was taken instantly, then everything that followed appeared to be legit, message to email on shipping and tracking, but item could not be tracked, order can't be found on PayPal but yet email says it's from paypal, ips says it is, no phone number, fake, fake, fake, and of course because of the PLANDEMIC by the New World Order there is absolutely no phone contact with Paypal, so it appears that I have just been ripped off $200 via facebook allowing folks to post false and misleading ads, and paypal allowing folks to use their logos and systems to rip folks off. I have now decided to never use PayPal again and let me state for the record clearly. IF YOU USE PAYPAL BE PREPARED TO BE RIPPED OFF, IF YOU ORDER OFF OF FACEBOOK PREPARED TO BE RIPPED OFF AND THEY WILL DO NOTHING AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT IT

I made purchase from two different company. But the item received from them were absolutely opposite to the item they previously described in their advertisement. So I open dispute with paypal. But I was not satisfied with their decision and tried to contact customer service but every time they disconnect with the reason that no customer service is available even calling them in the morning hours before 8am & they simply advised to send message. Their message center is computer generated and every response comes with computer and their is no option to lay our view and complaints. So finally I give off my claim and closed my paypal account and I will never ever use PAYPAL in my life. The company I linked seems fraud. The Contact Information of both Company are "*******@gmail.com" and " *******@vipservice.com".
Photo of items received from the purchase are as under.
1. One local thin frying pan received in place of 10 pieces of reevole clearance sale.
2. A pair of toiletry bags received in place of one shopping chart.

Every time a deposit has been made for 10 years now (immediately) gets converted to Canadian $...and transferred into cheuqing
Acc...no issues...All of a sudden, deposit made and no Transfer to bank, and just sits in Pay pal account, rotting. This amount stays unconverted! 12 days later Still in USD funds,,so i made a purchase (and my preference chosen was strictly to use my checking
Account for purchases, & deposits coverted & Transferred to bank...INSTEAD THEY USED DEPOSIT IN USD WITHOUT CONVERTING
And got rilped off, so super said its unfortunate when these things happen, but ive lost alot, SHAME ON YO PAY PAL...YOU R NOT A PAL

WHY CAN I NOT GET THE CORRECT INFO THE 1ST TIME, OR EVEN THE 3RD. EACH REP GIVES DIFF INFO ABOUT SAME ISSUE, OVER AND OVER. TAKING 10 MINS TO GET THRU NEW AUTOMATED SYSTEM, THEN REP LIES TO YOU. TAKING 6 CALLS TO FIX ONE PROBLEM, THEIR ERROR NOT MINE, FINALLY RESOLVED, AFTER 6Y CALLS, 4 HRS ON THE PHONE, AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED 12ST TIME. I DON'T HAVE THE TIME OT INCLINATION TO DO THIS. A YEAR AGO I WOULD HAVE RECOMMENDED PAYPAL TO ALL, TODAY I WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCY OPENED IN 1999. I JUST CAN'T TRUST THEM ANYMORE. AND ALL OVER LESS THAN 100 BUCKS, BUT A LIE IS A LIE, AND IF THEY'LL DO IT ONCE THEY'LL DO AGAIN. NOT THE WAY I DO BUSINESS.

I had several thousand dollars transferred to PayPal. I tried to withdraw the amount into my bank account however their security system blocked the transfer. There was no explanation from Paypal. After spending several hours over SEVERAL DAYS on chat and phone with their customer service dept, they informed me that the block was due to me logging in from overseas (EU FFS!) and that there was nothing that they could do to override the security block. Perhaps CEO Dan Schulman, CFO Gabrielle Rabinovitch or Sri Shivananda could do something, but why would they bother? They are likely responsible for implementing Paypal's INSANE security system. No other financial company / bank operates with such draconian protocols that humans cannot override. If you value your sanity then NEVER USE PAYPAL! APPALLING COMPANY! P.S. This problem for me is still ongoing...

Paypal are crimmanals making big money on others like amazon one thing is diffrent they dont have to give your money back and will not. I lost thousands of dollars becauise of the phillipine affrica the uk communitys and why would an American even thinlk about using an offshore bunch of thieves the overseas community act and talk like they are better than you and all they are are to me nothings. Im wishing them all to die and have painfull experiances on the way down. My fgather lkeft his country because of the people not the land and this presedent just destroyed america and it will never be the same

I love it BUT

I swear by PayPal. I love how accessible everything is, including loading the card with cash, how widely accepted it is, how you can pay with your account, transferring money, direct deposit, e. T. c. THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT I have is that sometimes customer service takes forever and I recently had the system flag my account for fraud because I had a large check deposited. When I went to actually use my card to withdraw or pay for something my card had been declined. When I finally got through to someone (thank you covid) they told me that an internal system flagged my account and put hold on my card. The funny thing was is that I could still use the money. I could transfer it to another account (which at the time I did not have... I do now though!) Or I could send it to walmart and withdraw it (which I did not have my ID to get it) or I could send it to someone else's PayPal account and use it online. It took almost 3 weeks for the hold on the actual card to be lifted and there was NOTHING they could do to help me with it. I was stuck waiting, even trying to send them verification of who I was etc.

I have had a PayPal account since 2004 when I started buying on eBay. So I figured when I had a package missing and obviously not delivered to my home, I figured "I paid with PayPal, I'm good." BOY WAS I WRONG. Twenty years and I've not had any claims, and the one I file is automatically denied in under 6 minutes after the seller provided tracking number. Try to fight it - but they will only accept an official response from UPS on official UPS letterhead stating that they did not deliver the package to my home and it's now missing. I will attach all of my proof here that they completely disregarded in lieu of their very specific request of UPS statements on UPS letterhead. I also found that UPS will not allow me to file a claim, and after PayPal decided in the seller's favor - the seller is no longer communicating with me. So I got left out in the cold after 20 years, because they want me to jump through a bunch of specific hoops to get my money back. I'd sooner leave my experience on the internet (the internet is forever) and never do business with them again.

I recently discovered that PayPal has robbed me of desperately-needed funds MANY TIMES, and likely many other people as well! So please do both me and them a big favor!

Because he knows my financial need, at the end of the Foreword in the original edition of my book, Over 38 Years Without Tears my friend Dr. Gary Schwarz suggested that anyone who was touched by my testimony could donate toward my ongoing expenses through PayPal.
However:
1. Because I now have documented evidence on a different issue to support my mistrust of Paypal,
2. Because PayPal provides the option for recurring donations to be made electronically,

3. Because I have yet to receive EVEN ONE PENNY in donations for my 5-star book (even though a search for Over 38 Years Without Tears on Google last month listed over 500 entries, so I know for certain that lots of people have indeed read and been touched by it)

4. Because I MYSELF have no way of knowing either who all of those people are or how to contact them,
I would like for you to please, please inform anyone YOU know who read the first edition of Over 38 Years Without Tears and donated through PayPal that I never benefitted from their gift!
(And warn them to STOP THEM IMMEDIATELY if their donations are scheduled on a recurring basis, because unless they want to continue supporting PayPal, their money is being needlessly wasted!)

As an eBay shop owner since 2008, and a Paypal user for many many years, most of my Paypal-ing as been positive. It's very easy to use and super convenient.

The problem comes in with people gaming the system and Paypal seeming to not care about this problem. My eBay store is NO RETURNS/REFUNDS. Well, people have figured out that if you accept Paypal as a payment, and you deny their refund request (usually it's buyer's remorse or some other fault of the buyers, which I have no time or patience for). They jump over eBay's head and tell Paypal they want a refund and AUTOMATICALLY get it once the tracking shows that they sent the item back. TERRIBLE system. Great for scammers.

I get why this would be great for honest shoppers but more and more I am running into scammers and con artists using Paypal to con people and not follow store rules.

Paypal really needs to do something about this. They give a very long time (6-9 months IIRC) for a buyer to request a refund! Why so long? The time should be shortened. This is ridiculous.
