“Don't buy from them”

Leon G.
1/19/23

I ordered a mirror for a Ram Promaster 1500. I tried to cancel the order after the order was placed in less than an hour. The customer told me the order was in process and could not be revoked. I can refuse to accept the package to get a full refund. But I found out later with FedEx that the shipper put a restriction on the box, making the package unable to be refused. I paid $20 for the shipping, and they charged another $10. The parts were $83.

Bought a part from this company and had to return the same because they send the wrong part. The part was returned and they won't refund the money because the package was open and supposedly dirty. How can you verify if the part fit without opening the package... This company is not a decent company, I call that steeling. Oh and by the way they will not send me the part back.

Tip for consumers:
After writing to the company about it they accept to refund the money back within a few days. Is fair to provide updates also when a solution was accomplish.

First, I have been a customer with partsgeek for going on 3 years, I have spent thousands of dollars with them. I purchased a set of 4 struts in the middle of November 2021 for a 2013 Toyota Highlander. Right after I received them my entire household came down with Covid, we were down for a month, then it was Christmas time. I wasn't able to install them until today 1/3/2022. They were for a friend. The rear struts were not the right ones. I contacted partsgeek and they refused to exchange them due to their 30 day return policy. Keep in mind it wasn't a return it was an exchange for the "wrong" parts they sent. I'm blown away by this! So now I'm stuck with two bran new " incorrect " parts they sent. I will have to eat the cost of buying the correct ones. Not only has partsgeek lost a good and loyal customer who spends a lot of money with them but I would highly recommend to anyone who is considering buying from them to re-consider. They do not stand behind nor own up to their mistakes. Shame on partsgeek. Sincerely, Rick They get a triple thumbs down and a zero star rating from me!

I would give this company Zero stars if it were an option. Never in my life has anyone working in customer service been so disrespectful to its customers. We called several times to discuss a warranty issue, only to be ignored and pushed off. Not only was Rich the rep we spoke to unhelpful and unwilling, but his manager Lee was unbelievely worse. I work in customer service and if I ever spoke to a customer or handled them the way these company reps have, I would have been fired. This company doesn't care about its customers. They forget that we keep them in business, or just don't care. They will not stand behind their warranties, or anything else for that matter. After reading reviews and seeing that this company carries an F Rating from the BBB; and that a lawsuit was also carried out tells me all I need to know about this company. I will do everything I can to make sure that everyone reviewing this company before deciding to buy will choose otherwise. Save your money, and your time.

I ordered 1 part and the total was $146.20. I clicked place order but at the bottom of my screen it says "Your credit card will be billed $288.45.
I submitted a request using their online form (if you call you get disconnected after 10 minutes saying it is because of high call volume) but after 2 days I track the parts and see they were changed to "shipper requested an intercept and to return to sender". No emails, no phone calls, nothing. Their prices are good but customer service is horrible. After finally getting my money refunded I thought I would give them another chance because the issue may have been a computer glitch. I placed an order on Thursday and on the following Tuesday after not hearing anything except the "Thank you for ordering" email I went to their website to submit yet another request. I saw a track order link so I clicked it to see if it would give me an update. It said the order had been canceled. I submitted another online form and got this:
"I understand your initial order with us (11-*******) You had accidentally ordered one too many fuel tanks. I also understand you did leave some negative reviews and continued to do so after we tried to resolve the issue. At this time we will not be able to fill the orders due to the actions taken after we tried to resolve the initial issue."
Just to be clear, I did not accidentally order 2 parts, it was their website that make the mistake.
I went to autopartswarehouse.com and they will price match, have online chat, phones that people actually answer, and excellent service as well as parts. Do NOT do business with partsgeek.com because if you have any problems it will take a long time to get resolutions.

I just bought a replacement mirror from partsgeek.com. They have competitive prices - best I found on the web. But I ordered the wrong part. The mirror needed to be for a sedan not a coupe. I ordered the coupe version which, of course, did not fit. I am returning and reordered the correct part. The point of my 3 star rating and title of my review is that the description did not include the "coupe" or "sedan" distinction until the very end and it is in small print. So, my bad for not checking and double checking. Also, since this was not an OEM part, they do not use the manufacturers part number. They have their own SKU which creates some confusion. But they are the cheapest by far. The mirror I am now getting is $26 vs $60-$90 on some other sites and as much as $200 from a dealer site.
