I love Pandora and the choice of stations, playlists, etc. I listen to it constantly at work. I especially love the Great American Songbook songs; particulary Seth McFarland and Sinatra. I grew up in the 70's and never really bonded with rock, so for me, this is a rare find. My other comment is that is very easy. I listen on my laptop, no messing with a million apps, picking songs, etc. Love the radtio stations. Thank you Pandora.
Signed on ad free for 4.99. We are on fixed income so when bank statement came in surprise! Being charge 9.99 a mth. I know seems like little, but when two homeless people with a rescue dog are living off 1600. A month ssi. It is a lot. Being screwed by Google and pandora. Do not use Google pay they don't care and pandora can't be reached. Use neither. Saddens. E to say they don't care about you or me!
Pandora has some seriously gorgeous jewelry. I'm always drawn to their charm bracelets and those cute rings. However some items, especially those with a more delicate finish, tend to tarnish or lose their luster faster than expected. It's advisable to follow their care instructions closely to maintain the jewelry's shine.
I've enjoyed my basic, paid subscription to Pandora for years. I love the wife selection and lack of ads.
I hate the way they repeat the same songs way too often. The result: I grow to loathe those songs and Pandora!
I usually listen via a Bluetooth speaker and often find myself running to find my phone so I can change the music. It becomes like a water torture, annoying, intrusive, and not much I can do about it. I press the thumbs down or forward button often, and it doesn't seem to disuade Pandora from pushing music I don't want to hear so often.I subcribe to lots of artists, stations and playlists, so there is no need for this over repetition.
For the first time, I made a trial free registration to familiarize myself with the offers from Pandora. After looking at all the possibilities and the range of services from music products, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the customer service process works. I think that I will sign up for a paid offer, I was attracted by the attitude.
I finally switched to another music site today. I got tired of hearing the same seven or eight songs on Pandora. I have 30 or 40 stations, I've liked hundreds of songs over the last couple years, but Pandora seems to be playing the same seven or eight songs on random (yes, most of the groups are check marked for shuffle). Is this a strategy on their part to get listeners to upgrade and unlock more songs, etc.? If so, it worked. I've now unlocked more songs on my Prime account.
Pandora does what it's supposed to, it allows you to listen to music. I can't complain about that since it has some nice variety available. However, I run into the fact it constantly repeats the same stuff over and over on certain channels or I'll listen to movie soundtracks and suddenly a non-movie soundtrack song is in there. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, pandora is an alright music streaming service so shouldn't be overlooked.
Since I love music, I love Pandora- the iPhone Apps. From the time when I have started using iPhone, Pandora is the only choice I have been opt for music. It is very simple, clean, and outstanding for iPhone. Whenever you come hard to take decisions on internet radio, I prefer Pandora for you. It has to be get experienced at least once and you too. If you are a iPhone user, then I need you to use this app for music.
This is just my opinion:
We listen to Pandora every afternoon and have discovered when you create a station utilizing an artist, after about an hour we start hearing repeats, more songs are from free compilations rather than releases by the artist, and after two hours it completely loses the plot and begins to choose songs that are in no way associated with the time, genre or anything remotely connected with the chosen artist.
However, when you select a song for your station, the selections are much more related to the time period of the artist as well as genre & genre evolution of the artist. It can go all afternoon with nary a repeat.
And finally, I mentioned in another review that utilizing Pandora via the online music option of the Marantz receiver, we never hear a commercial on our free account. Although I have to admit we also have a hardware firewall on our network running pfSense, and it could be truncating the commercials. It literally shuts down non functional outbound communications from devices like phones, computers, receivers, Alexa, etc.
After dumping the log of truncated outbound messages, I was astounded by the number of messages every minute being constantly sent from your digital devices to Google (massive amounts), Microsoft, Amazon, and a large variety of marketing companies with cookies on your phones & computers. Alexa was incredible. You realize it sends most of what you say within earshot - so if you are at all concerned about privacy, take some basic steps and control the amount of data they collect from you that allows them to design ways to incent your behavior before outright controlling it.
Hope all this helps, and keep on loving music while maintaining your privacy!

Listening to Pandora
It is okay according to my opinion but there is room of improvement needed.
I just wanted to return my purchase back. Just for fun) It has succeeded but only from the second time. That is why 4 stars)
In my book, Pandora is obviously the leader in streaming music. The free version is enough for me, and seems to have less ads than in the past, so I hope it stays free forever. I've never had any technical issues, it offers a smooth, uncluttered experience, and a favorite feature is the ability to create personal listening stations. The winner hands down in comparison to other streaming music services. No complaints from me.
I like Pandora but one thing I don't like at all is that when it plays back music based on the artists or genres you choose they don't mix up the music enough. It played 3 blues songs in a row, followed by 3 sing-songwriter tunes, followed by 3 Celtic rock songs, followed by 3 power pop tracks. I would like them to mix it up more. Everything else is fine and it sounds real good using Chromcast audio played into my home theater system.
Pandora would get five stars if I had their paid premium service, but the difference in service isn't worth the money for the little use I give it. The big plus is that once you select an artist, title or genre, you get a variety of similar songs just like you are listening to your favorite FM station. You can even skip a song if it's one you don't want to hear. Try it, you'll like it!
Great variety. Commit to customizing a station and you will love it for years.
I am a big fan of listening to movie theme songs and I can choose 1 and pandora selects new ones for me all day long. Best of All it is free!
I really enjoy listening to Pandora, moreso than I do listening to something like SiriusXM. I like that you can thumbs up/down tracks, and their suggestions for music I might enjoy are usually pretty on-point.
My qualms: They should pay the artists more when they play their songs (but all streaming services are guilty of paying bands abysmally), and also the frequency of the ads drives me crazy - but I'm too cheap to pay for the premium service.
I use it a few times a week. The basic plan is ok for me, the ads dont bother me too much. The only thing is that If I make a station for an artist or a band why do they insert others into that. It makes no sense.
I use pandora all the time. I love how simple it is. I am not too tech savy so the simpler the better for me. There are many genres to chose from. My only complaint is that when you give the thumbs up to a song from a different singer, the whole focus changes to that one instead of the one you chose. Example. I put in rascal flatts. Love them but then I liked a megan trainer song. Bam my entire station changed to female pop artists. No more rascal flatts. I don't even listen to that station anymore. Be careful giving the thumbs up.
