“Winter boots are great”

I was really surprised to do an online search and find so many poor reviews of this company! I purchased a pair of tall leather boots last year to withstand minnesota winters and have been very happy with the product. It is hard to find boots that are stylish AND warm (I have been very unhappy with many known brands that fall apart after a year or two of wear) and these are good quality, warm, comfortable, and waterproof, just as outlined on their site. They were more expensive than I normally pay for boots, but my hope is that they would also be more durable. So far, so good.

I can't believe these 500 dollar boots fell apart after a few times! Yes, I bought them years ago but never wore them. Does it matter? I have 2 more pairs, one still has tags on them! Are they gonna fall apart too? A one year guarantee is useless from this company!

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! DO NOT PURCHASE! THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WISH I WOULD HAVE SEEN ALL THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE PLACING TWO DIFFERENT ORDERS HOPING TO GET AN RMA FOR THE FIRST ORDER THAT WAS TOO BIG. YOU CANNOT SPEAK TO A HUMAN. Bought boots from them2 yrs ago. They were good the first yr and the following year not as warm. This year, well they are cold as hell and totally useless. Ordered new insoles which never arrived. Just the useless boot cleaning kit. Email saying they are out of stock. Are you kidding me? It's Canada in.Paid a good dollar for these boots that should last longer. Customer service only say you'll get a refund of the $40 in 4-5 days. You would think Canadian company would be better prepared for our Canadian winters. Don't waste your time. Buy the cheaper boots elsewhere that need replacing every couple years. Insoles are paper thin. Your going to be doing that anyway.

The boots I bought for 250+tx were supposed to be very durable, but it didn't even last a single season. The boots are absolutely ruined from inside, hurting my feet and water is able to go inside, despite being supposedly "waterproof". When I contacted customer service, instead of doing what any moral company would give as service, they gave me quite a political answer and clearly did not care. Very disappointing from a trusted brand like Pajar. I don't recommend these boots at all for anybody. They are barely even worth 30 $.

Bought 2 jackets online. Received only 1. Unhelpful customer service. Still waiting for second jacket 15 days after the order will question charge with my bank given no one really helping on Pajar side. Avoid buying online from them

Hello to all of you! Very bad Canadian company! Don't make a mistake about size...because even if they are new...they will charge you the shipping costs. In addition, customer service is pitiful. Please read the return policy carefully... First time in life that I see a company charge for an exchange! In addition, they do not have a price policy in connection with a price decrease! I bought a boot for $500 and the next day...there was a 10% discount! Never wanted to make a price correction! Finally, there is a newsletter that gives 10%. I had spoken to customer service representative Mika on the phone and she did not mention it at the time of purchase! The product is on evaluation! You will find equivalent quality at Sorel, Columbia and others such as northface, Keen, or Salomon. This company for my part is clearly discouraged and you will see other dissatisfied customers in the reviews and there are several! Believe me, he's not talking about the exchange and return policy on the phone! Quickly go see the exchange policy and go back to the bottom of the page! I should have consulted her before doing business with this company! If there were 0 stars, the score given would be!

Before you buy online you must be fully aware. I had to send 4 emails, 2 messages on Facebook, 1 on Instagram and then twitter before someone responded as to how to return a coat. They finally responded to my email with instructions with no return label. It cost $40 to return the coat. Never again will I purchase from them.
Btw, reason for return: the fur around the hood looked like a wet rat.

I had two items lost by UPS on the same day. One company resolved the issue right away, Pajar has still not done anything a month later. These were very expensive and they have essentially taken my $300 without giving me the product. They did not respond to my last inquiry.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT FROM POOR QUALITY!

These boots are RARELY used and have ripped in multiple places. After speaking with Amalia from Pajar, I was advised to take the boots to my local shoemaker to get them fixed at my expense. I should have done my research prior to purchasing Pajar as this seems to be a very common complaint of poor quality. Don't overpay for this brand as you will be disappointment.

TWO SIZE 8's ordered at the same time were respectively 1.5 sizes TOO LARGE AND 1.5 sizes TOO SMALL. They refused to make correction after politely dragging me along until after my credit card dispute window closed. Over 1,000usd for unusable boots. As I see other reviews, I can expect frostbite as well, regardless of <40f rating by Pajar. Disappointed is an understatement.

MANUFACTURE SIZING NOT TO ANY STANDARD... IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT!

Just... don't.
This is beyond disappointing, having shopped Pajar for two decades.
Next year my boots will be from other makers in Canada.

Received one size >9 and one size <7.
Can't use either, or that thousand dollars.

Worst Canadian brand in terms of customer service. Be extra caution before placing order. There is no cancellation as soon as the order being placed. They don't want you to return as their customer service not replying to your inquiry. I asked Pajar customer service for cancellation or return. When they finally replied, but dodged the real question and never mentioned there would be charge for return, until I found out myself from here. I've been following up but never got a reply for week now. I will continue to try contacting their customer support and pay the extra to return the item regardless.

Don't buy from it. better Canadian brand to choose from.

I purchased a pair of Trooper boots from Pajar on Black Friday 2022, and after receiving the boots and wearing them around 10 times in 14 days, the waterproofing was compromised, the sole detached from the leather on both boots. After contacting Pajar for warranty (mind you, they claim a 90 days warranty), they shifted the blame on me, my style of walking this n that).
DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS FROM PAJAR, poor labour and poor materials are used, but at a premium price.
These boots became useless due to waterproofing being compromised in less than 2 weeks.

I bought a pair of winter boots and they were too big so I returned them right away. They were delivered back to the company on December 15, and signed by one of the employees. The return process is excruciating because you have to email them to get the RMA number that you have to include on the shipping label, and you have to pay for the label.
I even paid for insurance because the boots were almost $300. I waited over two weeks to get the RMA number even though their website says you have to return shoes within 30 days of the receipt. It also states that you would receive a refund within 5 business days once they receive your return. I've been waiting almost 2 months to get a refund, sent them 3 emails and the responses I've been getting were that their accounting department is very busy. Still, no refund.

Tip for consumers:
If you’re going to make a return, be prepared for your own return label and wait over two months or longer to get a refund with the company responding to their accounting is busy

I bought a gorgeous pair on their boots from the Bay. Warm and comfortable. But within three months developed crippling foot pain with my right foot. After consulting my physician it turns out my issue arose from these boots. No support from the company. Avoid at all costs.

Reached out to customer support needing a boot size exchange.
Three weeks later I still have not heard back from them.
Basically I paid $300 for a pair of boots that are too big and I cannot get the company to respond to me.
Never again will I do business with a company I am not familiar with. Lesson learned.

Hi. I spent $276 dollars on a pair of boots, and only a few months later both the zipper and material ripped! I have contacted them FOUR times without any support, and their customer support agent, Kayla, I'm sorry to say, is very incompetent. My emails and chat continue to go unanswered, and they don't have a phone number.

I can't believe that i am taking to social media to talk about this brand. I never do this, as i usually focus on positive reviews only. But this one deserves a call out.

I was in NYC on vacation and bought some shoes from pajar. Three days later, while boarding a plane to my next destination, the sole SPLIT from the shoe and i was left hobbling around the airport looking for a new pair of shoes.

I called the customer service team and they told me there was nothing i could do. I couldn't return the shoes because i had to be in store to do so. I accepted this, even though i did not think that was right and moved on with my trip.

When i got back home, i went to my local shoe repair and they were shocked at how badly these shoes fell apart in a matter of days. They said they would do their best to patch things up but it was a long shot as these shoes were not made well. They delivered, at least i thought so! I didn't want to throw these shoes out as i spent legit money on them.

Back at the airport today, and guess what... my pajar shoes broke again. This is ridiculous that they have hardly been worn and they just keep on breaking. I now have to throw out hardly worn shoes, because there's no fixing these bad boys.

With all that being said, the product is faulty. I should be able to return these shoes. There are too many amazing fashion brands with epic customer service to ever purchase with this company again. It's just unacceptable in 2022 to pay for damaged shoes, and not be able to send them back for a full refund.

Now this is me, blasting you on social media, so i can get my money back because i assume that's the best possible way to get your attention and for you to take action on the mistake you have made. Please accept my request for a full refund.

J'ai acheté des bottes Pajar et après 3 mois d'utilisation la fermeture éclaire est complètement brisée. J'ai écrit aux services à la clientèle. Ils m'ont répondu que si je n'avais pas acheté mes bottes sur leur site Web et si l'achat faisait plus de 6 mois, ils ne font rien. Leurs produits sont trop chers pour la qualité qu'ils offrent.

I got these expensive boots from DSW upon one of their associate's recommendations. My toes freeze even in milder temperatures. Do not buy these shoes if you are looking for something that keeps your feet warm.

I purchased a pair of Pajar boots from Sail on Tuesday. I was looking for a light weight warm boot for work as I am outdoors quite a bit and these fit the bill. I have worn them for two days and they are NOT rated to -30. My feet are freezing even with wearing a pair of wool socks! NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I recommend you purchase a boot by Sorel.

False advertising, unethical business practices, can list more actions but that should be sufficient. I read another review - $500 boots ordered - never came - I thought it was my review except I didn't write it. Have never brought litigation on my own behalf but glad I am a lawyer today. Items purchased directly from Pajar on advertised sale. No communication. No responses. 2 weeks later, refund issued, canned email stating item no longer in stock. Item is in stock for full price. Looking at options. In consulting for retail establishments carrying this brand. I do not feel this brand should be sold with this unethical practice toward its consumers. I also have never seen a business with ALL horrendous reviews. Duly noted.

Along with all of the other reviews I've seen here, the reason for my review is exactly the same as the others - PAJAR SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FROM CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR... Taking people's hard-earned money is not a joke, especially not during these tough times. I plan to do everything in my power to bring this injustice to light. Pajar debits your account IMMEDIATELY when you make a purchase, but I am approaching ONE MONTH and still waiting for my credit back for the items I returned (which, by the way, total well over $1,000). You can't send something back without an RMA, but it took me almost a week to receive an RMA, you can only return to the address they give you (AT YOUR EXPENSE). Now I am still in the process of them "waiting for confirmation on my return", even though I have UPS confirmation that my returns were delivered almost two weeks ago. For such a high-end merchant, I'd expect white-glove treatment, but I received sewer treatment instead. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!
