I checked this site thoroughly prior to subscription as I only wanted someone to talk to. There were a good few suitable 'candidates' so I applied to pay but my bank blocked my card. I called my bank and was informed that such sites could be suspicious and as two attempts had been made from my bank using different, acceptable names I asked to allow me to subscribe. I tried to pay again and this time everything was ok, I only paid for 1 month due to my banks information, but instantly the candidates that were suitable for me, had checked my profile, etc, etc were not online. As mentioned in another review, there are dots of different colours to indicate whether one is online, had been online and so on. Everyone was instantly off line. I was asking for candidates within a 60 mile radius from various places near me and then the suspicions began. There were people who had no interest in chatting, asking for me to contact them directly, some rather vulgar names suggesting to me that chatting was not on their agenda and certain people who were 'available' under different names over and over again. I experimented and within a 60 mile radius from me only 2 were 'suitable' and I use that word very lightly. Only 2 women within a120 mile circle? I'm aware that I'm not everyone's cup of tea but I'm also not an alien from planet Ziggy. Oddly enough Bill and Joe, 2 middle aged men were suitable apparently even though I'd asked women only to chat with. None of this was acceptable to me so I checked my bank and 'bestbrunettes' had charged me! Bestbrunettes, who were they? Certainly not the company I thought I was subscribing to. I emailed the contact us address asking for a full refund as I'd only been subscribed for 3 hours and was offered a 30% refund. I asked them to not insult me and asked for a figure nearer the full price, I had asked for a full refund as mentioned earlier. Luckily I am not hard up for £35.00 or whatever it is but it was the principle of the whole set up. I have not had a reply for some 16 hours later. I've messaged 3 people who appealed to me as I was still paying for the 'service' and nothing has occured other than the multi woman has disappeared. They ask subscribers to report topics that appear to break their rules but it seems to me that the lovely, 'Flange, lollilicker' and many other inappropriate names for normal people are allowed to advertise and blatantly break the stated rules. If I could I'd not leave any stars and having only 4 earlier reviews also seems suspicious. Again, luckily for me, I can cope with reviewing this poor site at nearly 2 am as although I cannot sleep much due to a medical condition, hence why I wanted to chat initially, some other souls would find this kind of app unsettling. I certainly don't fancy the call I am making later today to my bank regarding 'bestbrunettes'. It appears that changing the name to something risque could well be a ploy to deter dissatisfied customers. As I said, bestbrunettes was not who I thought I was making a payment to. Writing this is kind of amusing as it's given me something to do at this time of night. PairApp is not recommended at all as I feel that they have acted in an inappropriate way to obtain money from me. By the way, I shall ask my bank to demand a full refund due to the unprofessionalism of the 'contact us' dept. Goodnight...
