I had such a great experience! This was a present for my husband and son. They incorporated all of the details that I asked for in such a beautiful way. They were super efficient mocking up 2 different designs with both pictures included. Kept me up to date on the progress and shipped quickly once the final approval was submitted. It turned out better than I expected! My husband was so surprised and loves it!

I REALLY love the idea and it would have been the best gift ever HOWEVER the picture of me and my daughter weren't the greatest. Back story…… my daughter who is on the spectrum bought this for me. She doesn't pay attention to detail as much as she should. HOWEVER the people at the company should have noticed the picture was blurry and NOT the best quality. NOW my face looks distorted and I have more chins than normal and my daughters isn't much better. IF you see something that looks off AT the LEAST ask for a better picture of the faces. I'm sure you can make the face more realistic. I do love the thought being my son is in it who passed away and I had thought about doing one and adding my other son(money was an issue for her so I get it), but not now. Again I'm thankful and love my kid for it but just wish I was happier about hanging it in my house.

I put an order in for my granddaughters birthday (1-28-24, she is having a party that day)... her dad passed away 3 weeks after she was born. My daughter loves pictures and has struggled with not having many photos of baby and dad together. I had a great idea, Paint My Life. I had other family members use them and I loved their paintings, plus the reviews were great, I thought it would be a win-win situation, not so. The artist and I went through many edits and it had me feeling uneasy, but after the final edit, I figured, nothing's perfect, and it looked good. Well today I received the painting, I had a "Happy 1st Birthday Princess, Daddy loves you" message written on the painting. In person it looked like a 5 yr old wrote it, and it looks like princess is spelled "prineess" on the painting; instead of prin'CE'ss, it says prin'EE'ss ( the artist made an error and didn't correct it); the c looks like an e, and the handwriting is awful. I said the artist must've allowed their 3yr old relative to show his work because there's no way a real artist wrote that. I was so disappointed. I contacted Paint my life, they offered to allow me to send it back and have another artist redo it, but I need it by 1/28/24 for my granddaughter's BIG event! He said that wouldn't be possible. I was offered a partial refund, was put on hold to see how much (the words on the painting destroyed the' entire painting). With a "fair" partial refund, I planned to find a local artist to fix the wording. I paid almost $600 for my painting (including the frame), the rep came back and offered me a $40 or $45 partial refund, a slap in the face. I declined and requested an entire refund and opted to send it back. I am so disappointed. I really wanted to surprise my daughter and my granddaughter, as well as my son in laws family and friends (over 200 people were invited), there's no way I would present a painting with such sloppy writing. I honestly can't believe an artist looked at it and said "this is okay." I almost feel like I'm being punished for requesting so many edits (because of my dissatisfaction). Now I have to send it back and find something else meaningful for my grand girl's birthday gift.

I placed an order for a painting for Father's Day. I saw the site advertised on Facebook and uploaded all my photos when I placed the order. After 2 days of waiting for an update I was advised they didn't have my photos which pushed back the start of the work so now it will not be here on time due to their website malfunction. Their solution was for me to pay an additional 15% for expedited service which would not have been necessary had they started when I initially placed the order. Definitely regret spending this nearly $500 for a gift that will now not be here on time. The following 4 paintings I needed will be done with another company since I've lost faith in this one, but the pictures they sent me of the painting look great so the review isn't shading the artist it is against the company and how they do things.

Tip for consumers:
Don't trust your photos upload when you place your order and call to verify each step because the dashboard isn't even accurate

I have owned this painting for 7 months. The person who painted it did not listen well. Who ever I was in contact with to make this painting has no imagination, they were working for the dollar. The flowers are dull, not enough flowers, not enough color, my dogs face was never fixed after I asked for it to be fixed, the frame looks like it was cut by a child(none of the corners match up). For $806.00 I do not recommend your company.

I waited to give my review because I wanted to live with the painting for a while. After seeing the painting everyday for the last seven month I decided to give it an honest review. I am genuinely unhappy.

I give it two stars instead of one because the painting was done in a timely fashion and shipping was excellent.

Tip for consumers:
If the "artist" you are given is unable to fix the issues in the painting and just not listening to you than change artists. I just gave up emailing because it seemed like a waste of time on my end. Unfortunally I ended up wasting $800.00 instead of insisting on getting another artist. Don't be like me, don't cut your nose to spite your face.

I approved the edited photo just to be greeted with a painting that didn't look anything like it. I emailed them saying i would like some changes because the painting simply didn't look like the approved photo they sent me. After almost 2 weeks of waiting for the new version, almost to nothing changed. Getting frustrated by the time that's it's taken to get the painting i approved it and here i am, an entire month later still waiting on my painting to be shipped. I was hoping to get it by Mother's Day, didn't happen. Am now hoping to get it for my mothers birthday at the end of the month and it's clear that it sadly won't be the case either. Very much let down by the wait time and subpar work.

So, not only did it take an extreme amount of time for the paiting to come in. *3 weeks, but when I reviewed the final product and approved it I was, of course, viewing it on my cell phone. Well, it came and it's my boyfriend, his mom, and grandma. His grandmas glasses and complately crazy looking. Like one is one size and the other is CRAZY it goes up onto her forehead and the line is the farthest from straight. The color they used is so faint that in the photo review i couldn't see the screw up. Now I'm $400 out of pocket and the painting is ruined.

I saw all the positive reviews--so I dove in! I first requested just head/face sketch-no shoulders. I got shoulders. When they asked me for comment, I reiterated "no shoulders", they then had another artist re-sketch it. Didn't care for it. Instead of modifying it, they had ANOTHER artist sketch it... but it came out fantastic! All we wanted was the print, (unframed). Well, it was delivered in a cardboard triangular-shaped tube, on nice stock vellum paper, but all wrinkled. It's not even frameable. Tried to call several times on several occasions--don't even bother because they will never come to the phone, even though they put the number at the bottom of every email. They will always respond, but very generically. After several communications, they are still trying to re-create this sketch when I clearly said that we do not want another one. Finally, they addressed the situation "unfortunately our shipping companies are not as careful as we request them to be." and "we will have another artist sketch for you." What a lame answer! They do not know how to ship artwork professionally? This is their business! What a shame that we have a gorgeous sketch of a baby photo that's wrinkled and they can't even make good on it, well except keep reproducing it with various artists. Very unprofessional.
