Look, I tried to give PacSun the benefit of the doubt. I shopped with them before and had a decent experience (4 stars at best, but hey, better than this). I ordered in May 2020, processing took about 5 days, and shipping took about 7 days.
To give context for the rest of the story, we are still experiencing COVID-19 in the US, and in these times, I do not go anywhere without a mask. Since I have started working again, I decided to invest into some nicer masks to wear out and about. Looking at PacSun's collection, I honestly fell in love with the designs. I added a black mask with a monarch butterfly and a black mask with celestial print into my cart (they were $9.95, which is a little costlier for a mask, but they claimed a portion of the funds went to an organization like Feeding America, so I caved). I checked out on June 17th, 2020, and I waited. I waited for 5 days, and I still had not gotten any confirmation of ANYTHING other than the standard "We got your order!" email. Odd, but with disinfecting and staffing I figured I'd wait it out. Surely with the 5-10 emails I'd get from PacSun a day they'd have a large enough demand in the warehouse to be working diligently to get my order of just two masks out as soon as they could! Close to two weeks had passed, and I had still never gotten any notice that any part of my order was being delivered. I was worried now that my masks may never arrive, and I went onto another fast fashion-esque website and ordered two masks for $10, and they shipped and delivered in 5 days. This made me realize it was definitely not JUST a COVID delay, but blatant disregard for customer service. I did email their awful "customer service" line to get a bologna, fake, and scripted response once again just stating that COVID put major delays on shipping. Right as writing this, I checked my email for dates, and I got an email saying that my ENTIRE ORDER was out of stock, and my money would be refunded. GREAT... I went onto their website, and the masks are still there. Not sold out. In my bag once again. Easily able to be purchased. Part of me wants to buy them again (they were such cute masks...) and see what happens, but if it goes through, I don't want to go knowing that I gave this company my money again after feeling cheated and scammed by them in the first place. Transparency 0. Customer Service and Satisfaction 0. Fed Up-Ness 100. Awfully disappointed and kinda upset at how this was handled. How did the masks I bought 2 weeks ago mysteriously go out of stock? How far behind on orders were they that they JUST got to my order and JUST saw they sold out of the two masks I wanted? Why can I still purchase those two exact masks if they are in fact out of stock? The ONLY positive is that they gave me my money back...
Honestly, if you’re thinking about buying from PacSun, just don’t. Use they outrageous amount of money you’re gonna cough up for these clothes and go a more environmentally friendly route. These clothes are not worth the price tag, and the company will drive you wild in the process.
Couldn’t even get any, but prior I got two shirts and they were ok quality. I wear them sometimes.
I LOVE PACSUN! I SIMPLY LOOOOVE SHOPPING THEIR JEANS! But pacsun.com just totally ruined my black friday/ cyber Monday shopping! In past 72h, I spent over 12hours on the phone with customer service that is located in Phillipines, every single person met me and tried helping me place my $200 order, but California corporate office keeps rejecting my order due to 'security issues'. Manager Kevin at Phillipines CS himself placed last order on my behalf with words 'it has to go thru as they will see my name on the order' and it didn't!:-( It is not Kevin's fault nor any of the person at CS in Phillipines. I found phone number for Pacsun.com corporate office in California and spoke with, I assume to be, CEO of customer service who overseas Customer Sevice in Phillipines (as she said, I quote 'Phillipines customer service general manager reports to me'), lovely lady named Burke who simply told me 'I am truly sorry, I can see you tried placing order 10times in past 3days, but our security department said NO and I can't let your order go thru! If you want to shop our jeans, you will have to go to a local store.' As I told her over the phone, I would gladly do so, but stores do not have same items and deals as I can find online.:-(
I have never wrote negative review online in my life as I truly believe we all make mistakes and I am living proof of trying to solve every problem I can and always find compromise, but in this case PACSUN.COM CEO from corporate office in California herself told me (not with direct words, but in a nice 'sorry, we can't help you ' form), PACSUN.COM DON'T WANT YOU AS ONLINE SHOPPER!:-( I feel like my $200 aren't good enough for them.:-(
PACSUN LIES ABOUT ITEMS BEING "SOLD OUT", PACSUN ITEMS NEVER SELL OUT AND NOBODY BUYING ITEM"
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM PACSUN. They falsely advertise their items as "unavailable", nobody bought item, nobody buys their items or clothes, and item never sell out on their website, warehouse just destroyed items. Items are available they just have a messy glitched up error outdated website. Their items never sell out, and seeing all the bad reviews they have everywhere online, of course their clothes and items NEVER sell out. They have all items available they just don't want to update their messy glitch website and warehouse just gets rid of items. They have many unsold items, none of pacsun items sell out, warehouse just gets rid of them and they have messy crappy glitched up error website that is surely outdated and they have plenty of item inventory, warehouse just destroyed items and messed up website. And phone call representatives don't know anything and they lie and say item "unavailable".
WARNING: DO NOT SHOP ONLINE AT PACSUN. PACSUN LIES AND SAYS THAT THEIR CERTAIN ITEMS AND CERTAIN CLOTHING ITEMS ARE "SOLD OUT", THAT'S OBVIOUSLY NOTHING BUT A LIE BECAUSE NOBODY BOUGHT ITEMS AND NO PICTURES OF ANYBODY WEARING ITEM, AND NO REVIEWS OF ITEM AND ITEM NEVER SOLD OUT, PACSUN USE FALSE ADVERTISING ON ITEMS.
And if any reviews on items, just nothing but fake phony lying reviews just written by pacsun employees who never bought or seen item either, and bots comments, not by real actual people.
It's nothing but false advertising and a lie when pacsun website shows certain items as "sold out", that's nothing but a lie because nobody bought items.
And it's comment bots when pacsun shows the "why did you buy this item?", not by real actual people.
For example: all these "why did you buy this?" are nothing but fake bot comments and the reviews are fake lies too also bots, not real people. And just written by pacsun employees who never bought or seen item themselves.
FAKE COMMENT BOTS REVIEWS AND FAKE REVIEWS OF "why did you buy this?" BY FAKE COMMENT BOTS TOO.
And none of pacsun items sell out online because nobody receiving items due to their extremely terrible horrible online customer service! They are scammers and thieves. So of course nobody buying crappy pacsun items and the items never sell out online anyway, pacsun just lies and uses false advertising. And with all the bad reviews pacsun has, of course the items never sell out online, warehouse just destroys items, and never see anyone shipping in pacsun stores either.
So anybody who says "pacsun items do sell out" IS A DAM LIE! :) Nobody buys crappy pacsun bad quality jeans or clothing online or in stores.
Pacsun sells overpriced expensive, cheap quality jeans and clothing and nothing but bad quality.
By the way, forever 21 is no better and no different, both are worse at customer service and cheaply made, crappy, terrible, bad quality clothing.
