Impossible to use customer service. However, you can get an actual response when you leave a negative review!
I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find how to contact OzSale, but they offer no other way than their online portal chat. I searched for OzSale's phone number, for Ozsale's compaints, for Ozsale contact information, and found nothing! I found one contact number for OzSale, a Sydney number, but they told me that since COVID they aren't able to staff their call centre. Right...
It makes me wonder what obligations they need to meet under Australian Consumer Law.
Here's how I was able to get a productive response:
Step 1. Want to contact OzSale about a return, or complaint, or issue, or concern, or. Anything to be honest (Because their chat doesn't work)
Step 2. Don't even waste your time contacting Ozsale through their chat or portal, instead write a review here, ProductReviewor, or on TrustPilot with 1 star and your invoice or order number.
(If you're feeling extra generous, like myself, why not go for the trifecta!)
Step 3. Wait. It won't be long, about an hour in my case when their chat was open, about a day to get a reply on the review site.
My original complaint:
Placed an order for 6 items that were never shipped. After contacting them I was told they couldn't fulfill the order and offered a refund, but not a replacement, even though the same items were still for sale on their store. Disappointed, but I did receive the refund.
Placed another order for 2 items on the 9th of November, and only received one item. Had to wait for the latest delivery date before they would even look at it. On the 7th of December I made an enquiry about where my item was, and got computer generated responses. Communication is dismal, with not a single promise of following up (up to a count of 13) has been followed up, rather I've had to contact them. They don't answer my questions in communications, consistently receiving default replies, and there is no other point of contact they've told me because of COVID. I've been asking for a refund since the 7th of January, 2 months after I placed my order. Since then, I get told they are waiting on their supplier and I'll receive an update in 1-2 business days. It's now the 25th of January, and after multiple requests for a refund ($19.95) they still refuse to do so. I'm stuck having to message them every 2 business days for an update, getting the same reply:
"I am so sorry for the delay.
I am still following up with the supplier to get a solution for this issue.
I will provide you with an update within 1-2 business days."
With no ability to escalate or chase it further… (**Until now, see above)

I didn't receive my item (see photo)
I was formerly a huge fan of Ozsale, having shopped with them since their inception in Australia, and I joyfully spent spent many $1k's with them over the years. That was then, now I'll not spend a cent!
Over the years I've watched their service and product decline to a point I virtually stopped buying anything at all from them. There were always small errors such as sizing or description, small inexpensive items broken or flawed that just didn't warrant the hassle of contacting them, returning etc. etc. Manufacturing quality of many so-called brand-name items became woeful, although I appreciate that is commonplace across the board due to certain manufacturer's standards these days.
Their search engine's inadequacies and shortfalls don't allow for specific searching in order to avoid synthetic fabrics, for example, so unless "cotton" or "linen" happens to be in the description, you've got no hope of seeing ALL the cotton or linen only items available. Who can be bothered manually scrolling through & searching 1k's of listings when many, once opened with high hopes, don't have size charts, all important fabric composition, country of manufacture, and lack so many other very important details besides! So many other non-clothing items devoid of dimensions, the most important factor, sigh.
The end of my dealings came yesterday. I recently purchased a small order of just 5 items of BEDDING products. Only 2 were correct as per Ozsale's listing description, albeit they were dreadful quality in my opinion i. E. feather/down pillows compressed down to nothing to the point you may as well not even use a pillow, and a quilt cover's "specialness: way, way over-stated! Like all the other Linen fabric (apparel) I've purchased from Ozsale I fully expect buttons to fall off, holes to form, and massive fading etc. after just a couple of gentle front-load machine cold washes.
The remaining 3 items: One was NOT the size described i. E. "Mega Queen" (to fit deep mattress) but a useless regular Queen size (10cm shorter walls). Another item was stated by Ozsale to have been "Received" yet Australia Post's tracking tells me it hadn't even been scanned & certainly has not been received, The other item ordered was for a 3 piece set, but only 2 pieces were received, thereby making the entire set useless! In the "old days", if they didn't have stock they'd call & ask if you still wanted the other parts of a set etc, not these days, however - easier to waste vast amounts of customers time and money, and then their own having to deal with returns, if people can be bothered. JUST A HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME, EFFORT AND $100's, and such a major, major disappointment on all levels.
Search all reviews everywhere before giving them your $'s because over the years this once fabulous site has really gone down and down almost to the point of no return. I'll be doing a chargeback on credit card and/or going to Office of Fair Trading if I have to this time, which will be my absolute last after many years & $1k's!!!
Quality is beyond poor, gave most away
I bought a Giantz Garden Shed from Oz Sale. Firstly the shed took up to 6 weeks to arrive in dribs and drabs. Yes I understand that the current Situation with Covid 19 has slowed everything down and deliveries have been delayed. We were told delivery would be made within a week only to have our shed partly shipped in over a 6 week period. Whenever we would contact them they would take 2 to 5 days to reply! In today's day and age that is simply unacceptable. So, the final part shipment arrives and we arrange for an experienced garden shed builder to erect the shed for us. We paid this fellow $400 to complete the job. Three quarters through the build, we work out that OZ Sale in all their wisdom forgot to deliver the package that is the ROOF! Can you believe that! After waiting all that time to have the shed delivered they actually forgot to deliver the roof! We have tried to contact them unsuccessfully! This organisation is a SHAM! We paid them $500 for half a shed.
I now have a half built garden shed in my backyard! To add insult to injury they don't take your phone call nor do they answer emails or messages. As a consumer I am absolutely beside myself as to how this Organisation functions and still has customers! Folks, if you want to throw away your hard earned cash, be taken for a ride and be infuriated and frustrated beyond belief then place an order with OZ FAIL (OZSALE)
If through some miracle OZ FAIL end up finding the roof to my shed and delivering it, I will need to fork out another $200 for the Tradesperson to come back out and finish the job. On the flip side of the equation, if they continue not answering my emails or messages and ignoring me, I will be left with a half built roofless garden shed in my backyard!
Just writing about it is giving me anxiety. Do yourself a favor and keep away from OZ Sale. There are plenty of other Online Retailers that will look after you and do the right thing.
My next plan of action will be to write a complaint to the Dept. of Fair Trading and Consumer Affairs. As a Consumer no one should have to go through this kind of pain when purchasing anything through an Australian Registered Company. It is an absolute waste of time, energy and money!
OZ SALE is nothing short of a bunch of Con Artists and a Disgrace to Online Shopping! HEED THIS WARNING AND KEEP AWAY!
PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM OZSALE.COM (YOU WILL REGRET IT). I hope you read these this before buying anything from ozsale.
1) I HAVE HAD HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE's (I DO NOT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE MY EXPERIENCE). I STILL HAVE NOT GOT MY REFUNDS AND IT IS NOW NEARLY TWO MONTHS SINCE I RETURNED IT.
2) IN 2015-2016 (OZSALE SOLD GENUINE LEATHER). NOW OZSALE IMMITATE PLASTIC LEATHER (PLEATHER). Their plastic leather cost $180 for 1 bag (this is after discount of 40%).
Ozsale product was once great product. I bought many items from them between 2015-2016. But lately it has been fake, and I think it is now imitated in a third world country. Their genuine leather products are now PLEATHER (plastic leather). Their customer service told me that a bag looks different/cheap because it is made of PLATIC LEATHER. I bought so called genuine Versace leather bag, but, it is simply cheap imitation and it is NOT genuine leather as described.
3) Sorry, but, I have to say that ozsale customer service is by far the worse in the whole world. I shopped online A LOT. They are not that educated as well, if their staff are educated enough they will not need more than 1 month to process refund through PayPal.
Ps: Ozsale.com staffs are also the biggest liar. They are lazy and non-productive. They are rude and not listening to the customer. A staff constantly telling me to listen to him talking. But actually, he did not understand me, as evidence he made mistake by producing RAN for an item that I did not intend to return. I tried to explain but he insists that I have to listen to his rude tone. He then hangs up when I tried to ask about my previous return's refunds. He said another person is working on it. How many people and how hard is it to refund money through PayPal?... Ever heard of calling PayPal to help you if your so uneducated to make PayPal refund?
4) I will be reporting this company to the Authority. This company should be jailed for corrupting refunds money and selling FAKE plastic leather whilst promising genuine leather. I can see that there are many other people have had similar horrible experience. I wish I have read these reviews before I bought things from them.
