Overstock.com

Overstock contacted me after this review & sent me the replacement parts at no charge to me. They had to send me another dresser for me to get the parts I need and return the rest, but they paid for the shipping. Their pro-active actions have changed my opinion & I will now continue doing business with them in the future.

Their customer service and returns is a nightmare! It's worth it to pay a little more elsewhere. If they mess up, they put the responsibility on you.

Their selection is rather spotty. I've bought from them several times and have had to contact their customer service team on occasion and have always had the best experience with it. They generally seem very enthusiastic and caring. They stopped selling home media/entertainment for awhile and now one of their marketplace sellers has filled that gap, although that market place seller's selection is about as unpredictable as Overstock's selection of electronic devices.

I shop here on Overstock frequently because they offer good products/value and the customer service is great. If you have to return something they make it pretty painless to do so. Great place to find area rugs. My only complaint is that sometimes it is hard to find what I am looking for because of the sheer amount of products the carry and the search function of the website seems a little wonky sometimes.

I began shopping Overstock for many years. They have everything imaginable. For self and home. Designer Brands and great shipping. Prices can be terrific compared to retail but you have to shop around. I think that the prices were better a few years ago.

Had several purchases here and unfortunately some returns. But still I say this is very good! Despite of those being a return - they did everything fast and my money was given back in the shortest time. I recommend!

Routinely find good deals at Overstock. Shipping is almost always free and the quality of all the items I've received is great. One issue with a defective product was handled immediately and easily. I shop regularly.

I bought a gazebo in April and by August is was faded as if I had it several years. I contacted Overstock company who referred me to the manufacturer who was no help and referred me back to overstock. I am requesting a partial refund for the product. I purchased it from Overstock and do not understand why I'm getting the runaround!

Love that they send out discount emails occasionally, free shipping and a HUGE selection of items(ANYTHING) you could need to decorate or update your home.
They only need to work on the ease of using the website. They did not have an option to save your "favorites" for a long time, I like to shop tentatively and then look at everything I "earmarked" and compare prices, stats etc., before I make the purchase. It is hard to make a final choice if you cannot see all options in one section. I believe they may have fixed this recently though.

I like this service for regular discounts. Product's quality is on the top level. Easy to make an order and to communicate with the staff.

Have ordered multiple times. They have responded quickly, and provided good products. I would like to be able to order singles - for instance I needed 2 love seats and a couch, but could not order the extra love seat... I would have liked stain protection, but did not see it offered.
Got a great value on an Oriental - style carpet, well made, but the color online was silver-grey-blue, and the actual is dark blue.
Will continue to shop with them.

I am a comparative shopper and I often check several sites simultaneously for the best deal before purchasing online. Overstock wins so often on price for the exact items I want that I joined their affinity program to get their rewards.

I find that their search function and item descriptions work better than some of their primary competitors. Overstock seems to the fact that it is important to have precisely consistent item descriptions, so that users can search successfully.

I have bought several pieces of furniture from here and never had a problem with them. They always have beautiful items at awesome prices.
So buy as little or as much as you want and you are still only paying absolutely nothing for S&H

I totally forgot about Overstock.com until my old next door neighbor used it a few times. Company is based in China but heck more than half of our merchandise comes from there. While your shipping experience might range from happy, to sad to why is it damaged to where the bleep is it? The website offers items in my price range and that is why I shop there. I feel like I can afford the same quality items as every one else on a limited budget. No one will never know unless you tell them.

I use to be all about Bed Bath & Beyond but their prices are creeping up so high I can't afford them any more. My parents shun me for supporting places like overstock.com but I'm tired of only being able to shop at second hand stores. Used items such as clothing or bed linins creep me out. I'll come here before I go there. At lest here I feel like I can purchase items and feel good about it. The items are the same in my local store and I generically shop for the cheapest bidder. I have purchased the same items from my local store for twice the price and in year later they're dainty, dingy and run down. At least here you can read the reviews and know if you're making a smart purchase.

Shipping is a gamble and can range to amazing to hell but the price is right.

Be forewarned the company will remind you to review a product. Well I did that. The next thing I know i'm being subscribed into OverStock's "yearly" program against my will. They sort of con their clients into their auto subscription against your will. Thought you might like to know. Some times they do not warn you about enrolling you into this program. This is the only fruadulant thing I would caution overstock users about.

They do what they say they do and sell a lot of overstocked merchandise and you can often get that merchandise at 30-40% off. The "Great Deals" are usually on smaller items. We have gotten patio umbrellas from them for $35 that normally cost $100. Pretty fun and easy site to use.

I loved the bassinet I bought from here. It was name brand, beautiful, greatly priced, and came in at a timely fashion.

You can find original stuff, some days you have great deals, still up in the higher end of prices. Need better deals.

Recently I've redecorated my house. I've ordered several items from Overstock. Here is the good, the bad, and the ugly. The good: most of the items I've received were of good quality. What I expected based on the listing and some even better in person. They have great customer service. I've had items come damaged and they were quick to replace them or refund them at no cost to me. I also compare prices for the same products against other sites and Overstock is usually cheaper. The bad: since products are often sold by third parties, the packing is all over the place. I've had items packed so well I could barely get into them and items packed so poorly it was obvious it was heavily damaged in shipping partly due to poor packaging. The ugly: I recently ordered an accent chair listed as "full grain leather" with a photo of a chair with beautiful distressed leather. What I got was made of a material nothing like the photo. It was most definitely not full grain leather or leather at all for that matter. The material was poor quality compared to the advertised photo and not distressed. I wrote Overstock to address the issue and am waiting to hear back (I just wrote them a few hours ago). Because there are third parties, unfortunately not all of them can be trusted. I have no doubt Overstock would except a return if I chose to return it, so I still think they are great to work with... just a few shady third parties on the site.

About a month ago I decided that I needed so me things to spruce up my apartment. I've never shopped at overstock. Well now I guess I can't stop! I got some runners for the kitchen and living room. Amazing. Both are good quality, and look perfect. I also grabbed a lightweight blanket for the summer. Excellent! I didn't know they sold clothing too! I ordered a few t shirts that haven't arrived yet, but they should be here tomorrow. Shipping is quick! So the only thing I ran into that I didn't like. I ordered 4 curtain panels. I ordered grey patterned that looked really great on the site. But when I got them, they are more like sage. So I wrote a review on the site, and when I took a pic, they absolutely look grey even when I took the pic. So I called them to find out about returning them. All I need to do is open the email they sent me, pop the curtains into the package, and bring it around the corner from my house to a UPS return shop. They will scan the barcode that overstock sent me, and when they get my package they will reverse the charge. So easy. I will continue to use them.

I did a lot of shopping around on some dog ramps/stairs. Overstock had the best deal over amazon, wayfair and other pet supply specific sites. Free shipping too. Scheduled to be delivered within 4 days of purchase.

Got some very good deals there and shipping is always fast. Sometimes it takes support a little too long to reply though.

I have bought Furniture, area rugs and more from them-they have special discounts and free shipping on some items are a great return policy-the quality of throw rugs and sheets/towels are especially good-some items do need assembly but I have had people ask where I bought things-and marvel at price and quality
