Ormond Arms

I have to say that at first I was skeptical buying from Ormond Arms. I haven't heard of this business before but recently I've been seeing their site come up in my browser and couple people sharing some videos of what they got from here. I made a decision to buy and placed an order for AR15 rifle kit. Basically in a kit you get everything, all you have to do is assemble everything yourself including milling out the lower. The parts seem to be top notch quality. I just finished completing my build yesterday and looking to two more business with these guys.

I bought an ar9 kit and jig from Ormond arms and it was delivered in early February. The jig I received did not fit with the lower. I sent pics and video to Ormond and they confirmed that the jig was not fitting the lower.
I was told that the lower style has been changed and that they contacted the jig manufacturer and were going to get the problem resolved.
2 weeks later I received an email telling me that they haven't forgotten about me and that the jig was being worked on.
When Ormond emailed me to tell me what was happening I thought it was great. So I was willing to wait.
Then the pandemic hit so I figured that Ormond might not be open or were working at reduced capacity.
In late March I received solicitation emails saying Ormond was open for business and shipping.
So I emailed asking where was jig was. The first email got no response so I emailed a week later. Ormond got back to me and said they were looking into it and would get back to me "in a few minutes". Then I never heard from them again.
It's now mid June. I emailed again asking what's going on with my jig. They did not respond.
I have been more than patient with this company.
Ormond arms has absolutely incompetent customer service and they obviously do not stand behind their products. They admitted to a mistake and will not follow up to make sure that mistake is corrected.
I wish I had bought from someone who has a clue how to run a retail business.
In my opinion Ormond arms is a terrible company and I would strongly recommend not buying from them.

I don't know about experience of others but I can tell you my experience. I first bought a rife kit from OA and it worked great for me. I came back second time to buy some more parts, I needed a 80 lower for my other build, I put it together, have been testing it from two weeks now and it's been good. I will for sure buy from here again in future.
