Been in this industry for over 35 years. This place has the absolute worst prices there are. Ask Management for any kind of decent pricing like I've received since 2000 and there is no "wiggle room" at all. Have my friend call random other locations and although I'm assured my business is in the "top tier" for pricing reductions I barely get a break, and I mean 15 cents. No way to keep small business going if I have to pay retail. Been the worst since Covid. Can of brake clean I used to get for 1.00 to 1.99 is now 4.00. Use several cases a week. Hard parts, (water pumps, alternators) honestly have only gone up 20% or so, but electronics, tune up parts, even oil filters? 75% minimum. "It's all the supply chain interruptions bro..." Miss me with that. And don't get me started on the house brand and quality. I only keep this account open because they deliver.

Walked into Dillon SC store to purchase a battery for my wife's 2022 gmc canyon after it shorted out, was told that they need to check the battery and alternator was probably the problem. I have made a living for 50 years as a heavy duty diesel mechanic with numerous awards for diagnostics across the USA, repairing multi million dollar machines, had no complaints of cost wanted a new battery. Store personal said i was rude and would not help me so i will be taking all of business from now on to your competitors who are willing to make sales and help customers had no issues asking to be serviced. Customer service is terrible at this store this is not first time for issues with customer service mostly from the women at the counter who are all younger than i have been making a living working on million dollar equipment in the construction industry. Should close all stores and put employees and welfare better service at grocery stores!

Went in because my car wouldn't start and I wanted my battery to be tested and the guy said yeah you just need a new battery. I am a female and a customer had to speak on my behalf and say she asked for her battery to be tested first. So I got a ticket. He said he would call me the next day that did not happen I had to call back and yes I did need a battery. I asked for it one battery they said it was $130. They said they would set it back with my name on it. I then sent my son in who was in high school when my son got there they told him that they didn't have any left and he paid over $200 for a two-year battery After he installed the battery, I then looked at my bank account and I said why did you pay this much? He said they didn't have any left. I then proceeded to call the store on 100 Street, and the gentleman told me yes they do have one year batteries left! I was livid that you were now lying to customers that go in there to purchase a battery that was held back for me and then you turn around and try to just make an extra $75 or something off of my child because he looks like a high school kid or because I'm a female, he said he called his manager and all the general managers are in Florida right now so there's nothing that can be done, but I could bring my car back and take the battery out and I could switch it out. I said I am in the middle of doing FASFA for my son and it's after 6 PM and it's dark and I was told by the first guy that once I put a battery in my car I can't return it because the seals are popped. He said that they would make an exception in this case, but I would have to come back that night, I cannot change out a battery in the dark. So I am writing all these reviews so women and younger people and everyone knows not to go to O'Reillys! I used to do business with them, but I now go to AutoZone and AutoZone offered me a jump pack, and jumper cables so that I could get my car to them and they would help me with a battery, this was not the customer service experience that I had with O'Reillys, and I knew better not to go back because the last time I went there to buy something they would not help me. They ignored me and help three other people before me just because I was a female, even though I was there. After I purchased what I needed, it was a turn signal or lightbulb. They told me to go up to Valvoline and have them help me put it in. Just want to be aware not to shop at O'Reillys do not give them your business. They do not deserve it the way they treat people, this is not good customer service!

1.bought alternator for 1995 GMC Sierra with in a week it spun off the bolt, and the pulley came off along with the serpentine belt. O'Riley in greencastle would not bring one 4.7miles away, tow truck was gonna take 3 hours so had call one and cost me 110$ for tow to O'Riley's. Where they replaced it. However 2 before that one failed I'm 2 weeks, talked to another customer whom had same issue with alternator failing.
Bought new tired and ball joint ball joint failed 3xs and had replace tie rod 3xs from where was bent from the ground impact as the nut came off the ball joint stud. Intially the new ball joint I bought the counter but had issues going one so had but another. But nut came off stud 2 xs the 3rd truck veered off the road into a 10 foot revine after ended up 150 foot out in a field with my face ripped open. Had be rushed to intensive care from blood loss where spent day and half to finally be released with 15 stitches in my face. Tried speak O'Riley's whom wanted me turn part over to manufacture cause even though they sold it they try say had no liability cause hidden clauses in the bottom page in terms and warranty. I filled complaint bbb and O'Riley tried shrug it off and say they had no responsibility in it even though they sold it. The issues were reported nhtsa whom ignored it after the same thing happened on my last vehicle 2004 Chevy 4.3 the hub split 3 times, the ball joint nut came off newer 2004 dodge ram. Took part to employees at O'Riley's whom admitted to it being bad, ins company said couldn't believe a dangerous part has not been recalled. Have gotten bad fuel pumps, tps, ball joints, tie rods, egr a few times. At this point no sympathy or remorse has been given toward their part almost ending my life by failing. So they have no disregard for customers after selling cheap parts, have no will to stand behind the items they sale if they fail they do not care they blame the manufacturer, employees being auto parts employees would think now stuff but most are average Joe know nothing except what computer says, if you need help or something after a defective part don't be anticipating a hand, hide their clauses when Indiana statues say it must be on the main page in font that can be seen by a average person to know it was there, but if not becomes void and null... was their reasoning for not helping. Still in process of pursuing yet not ignorant and gona give the only thing have to them to send to manufacture to toss in the incenerator and say yeap

Tip for consumers:
Do not trust the parts or expertise as most them have no idea what they are saying...

Came in here at 8:30 PM on 2/17/24 and asked for some robinair high vacuum pump oil. The website said it was in stock, having previously purchased it here as well I knew it was in the back. So, I asked the employee if he could go grab 25 bottles for me. He comes back a in about 30 seconds and says it's out of stock. I pull up the website and show him that it indicates that they do have it in stock. The guy actually won't go look again just flat out says they don't have any, basically to go pound salt,
25 bottles while not the most massive sale in the world at $20 a bottle its nothing to scoff at.
So, I leave and get in my car to go to the Snohomish location that also says they have it in stock. As I drive there I call and ask if they have it in stock. The guy on the phone says let me go check. Comes back and says I don't think we have it. I am like for real for real. So now two stores that say they have it in stock are both out of stock I highly doubt it. It's not like high vacuum pump oil is a hot commodity,

I wasn't going to be dissuaded from my mission so easily so i continued on to Snohomish. As I knew they had it, so I went up in the store and whipped out my cellphone with the page pulled up and said you all carry this see in stock at this location. Get on your computer I'll provide you the part number you'll see.
Enters it in looks at me, and then heads to the back and comes back with my bottle of pump oil. I only ended up buying one because of the hassle I am going to order the rest off of the internet. Your loss O'Reilly you should really work on training your people on how to find products and not just go give a cursory look and say well we don't have it. I shouldn't have to pull out my phone and make them search the part number they should pull up the website on their own and search for high vacuum pump oil to see if they have it,

Shameful display of customer service at both stores Monroe and Snohomish, but at leas

Every time I go to O'reilly to buy vacuum pump oil it is a fight none of the employees know they sell or know where it is in the back it is ridiculous. It typically takes me at minimum 25-30 minutes of arguing with the employee that they do in fact carry it. I usually have to pull out my cellphone show them their web page and give them the part number and it typically takes 10 minutes for them to find it but it usually happens.

Flagstaff Arizona to be exact, the West side O'Rielly's store manager is rude and racists towards Native Americans by telling Natives to "Get out of my store"!
"you don't belong here", I tried to return a dead battery for Refund, because it's covered by a 2 year warranty, and not to mention the state laws "warranty of merchantability" means it has to work as intended for the purpose it was made, and if does not work it is covered by warranty to be returned when defective and bad. AutoZone and Carquest, will immediately for refund and O'Rielly's will not honor their promise to satisfy the customer, but instead yells at the customers by saying "Get out of my store"! Does this long haired manager own the franchise? He said he is the owner, and he yelled that it's his store. I will not shop at any O'Rielly's any more, Ever! They lost a loyal customer tonight, not to mention the Racism by this Angleo guy manager behind the counter in Flagstaff Arizona, West side O'Rielly's on Route 66. Boycott this ugly place! Do not shop at this O'Rielly's ever! I have never been treated so badly in my life!

Tip for consumers:
It was the worst experience I have ever had with a parts company, and the quality of the parts is very low and cheap, and is sold for very high price and not worth it's value.

Installed a Microgard Cabin Air Filter 3 years ago on my 2016 Subaru Forester. Started to remove it on Feb 17 are the mounting tabs snapped off like it was a stale cookie. The PN is MGA4014. Called O'Reilly Customer service, talked to Tyler and was told it was produced by WIX...he gave me the WIX Customer Service Number, I called and found out that they DO NOT MAKE CABIN AIR FILTERS BRANDED AS MICROGARD!. I then called Tyler back, asked him to find out exactly who makes it, he called back that is was some odd-ball Chinese Company I'd never heard of, not WIX.
Not happy with the product or getting lied to from the O'Reilly rep...until I finally MADE HIM check it out.
Guess I might as well order from Amazon for all my filters and skip overpriced O'Reilly.

I was replacing the water pump on a 2018 Ford F150,2.7 L turbo. I purchased the water pump from Ford as it was the same price as the aftermarket pump from Oreilly's. The factory pump didn't have the gasket with it. I went to the Oreilly's on 19th and Santa Fe in Moore Oklahoma. Spoke with a young man buy the name of Cash. I gave him the vin to the vehicle, always take the vin when I buy parts.
I returned home only to defined the parts were incorrect. At that point I returned to the O'Reillys to get the correct part and was told I opened the package it's now nonrefundable. How do I know a gaskets right or wrong if I don't open the package to see if it fits. Regardless, they said it was mine and they'd be glad to sell me the correct gasket. I've done thousands of dollars worth of business with O'Reillys. I'm a fixed operations manager for 2 dealerships. I will cancel your contract tomorrow with both of my stores. I will never grace a parking lot with the name Oreilly's again. I will tell my story to every person I ever talk to.

25 bucks, cost this company, thousand

Tip for consumers:
Not sure how I understand that you sell someone a water pump gasket off of the Vin number. I take it home open it up it’s the wrong part and then you tell me I can’t refund. But you’ll gladly look up the part and sell me another one. What makes you think I’d ever do business with your company again after you treated me that way.

This is the united states of America. It is a sad day when you walk into a place of business and pick up three items that total 103 dollars and walk out with out your product. The place would not take a hundred dollar bill. Your company lost a customer today and I will not ever shop here again. If business stop accepting cash then I will shop online. Brick and mortar store fronts with personal attention to customers is extremely important. Obviously You have forgotten that.

Axle seal spring broke causing fluid to leak ruining brake shoes and drum. Seal and bearings were replaced under warranty but $240 worth of additional parts were not. Then they tell me that they shouldn't have covered warranty because all of their warranties only cover parts if a CERTIFIED MECHANIC INSTALLS THEM it on the very fine print on the back side of their receipts. I didn't ask for free parts, I just asked for a discount which they offered $20 off. Wow be a loyal costumer forever but this is the last time I ever buy anything from them.

I needed to have my automobiles trouble codes detected.
I went to the o'reilly's store at 1213 West Carson Street, Torrance, CA. *******.
I asked the two employees behind the desk if they could check my car's trouble codes.
One of the employees asked me if the check engine light was on, I said no. That same employee told me that if the check engine light was not on, then the scan would not return any results. I asked this employee if he could check it anyways and he said no, it's a waste of time because without a check engine light being on it would not give any codes. Right then, I remembered that in the past I had problems with customer service at this same store.
I left this o'reilly's store, got into my car in the parking lot and started to drive away. I looked back at the store and I could see those two employees standing at the windows staring at me driving away. I thought that was really strange behavior. I drove directly to AutoZone afterwards and asked the AutoZone employees the same question, the AutoZone employee walked me out to my car, plugged in his tool and found out that there was one code that came up. The AutoZone employee even took the extra step to print out the results for me. I will Never, Ever shop at o'reilly's auto parts store again!
The o'reilly's auto parts company has just lost another customer!
The o'reilly's store at 1213 West Carson Street Torrance, CA has the worst customer service that I have ever seen in any auto parts store!
I am also going to leave a negative review, everywhere I can about this store!
From this point forward I will shop at AutoZone for all of my automotive needs!

I called the O'Reilly store on March 24 to order a part for my 2001 Toyota Sequoia (wheel steering pump) a female employee answered the phone in a bad manner and sounded like she did not want to assist customers!

When I finally went to the store to pick up the parts there was only one employee helping customer and the other female employee was walking around ignoring and avoiding customers. When there was about 4 customers in line she finally decided to help, with a bad attitude.
And to top it off I received the wrong part.

My mechanic purchased a used engine from O'Reilly with 8000 miles. The manager, who is no longer there, gave him a 12 month parts/labor warranty. After 6 months this engine blew. Now they replaced it with an engine with 38,000 miles and refuse to honor the labor warranty. Poor customer service from such a huge magnate as O'Reilly's. They should honor their loyal client who has been buying from them for years. Huge disservice and lack of respect for the small business owner. Who also just experience a family home fire. Huge disservice from O'Reilly's.

At the store on 1251 County Farm Rd. The employees are unprofessional. They were not able to determine what parts I needed according to the Fix Finder code. The saleswoman made me understand that I am not welcome here with my problems. And I was told to go to another store, Auto-zone. The O'Reilly shop was the most loved, but the employee has changed, not anymore!

Went into o'Reillys in Seymour Indiana last week to purchase a car battery. Three employees, one customer. I went to the counter where one employee was ringing up a customer while another employee he watched. Third employee was stocking shelves. After waiting 3 or 4 minutes without so much as a nod of my existence I left the store. Purchased the battery from AutoZone for $200+. Auto zone acknowledged me the second I entered the store. They also had three employees and one other customer. FYI I am 75 years old.

I bought a car battery from them. I didn't have much of a choice since no one has anything else on stock. The battery was defective with a bad cell so I returned it for another.
Then my second battery started dying. It mysteriously had lost 2 inches of acid in 9 months on a new and never opened top. Looks like it is leaking.
They denied the return and said it was my fault.
Two defective batteries. No more O'Reilley for me.

I had my wife (while she was shopping in Nebraska City) stop by O'Reilly and get a caliper for the right rear on her 2014 Chrysler Town and Country touring along with break pads for both rear wheels while I removed the old caliper at home, 25 miles away. She returned with the parts, only to find out two hours later that they were the wrong parts (caliper and break pads). I called them up and told them the issue. They said bring it back up and they would replace it with the correct parts. So, 30 minutes later, I was back in their store, (irate because of the error). I didn't blow up at them, but was ready to. The salesperson that took care of me did so with a smirk on his face the whole time. In the meantime, the brake fluid was draining from the lines on the van. They didn't apologize, didn't offer a discount, didn't give me some break fluid for my trouble. Nothing. That will be the last time I step into an Oreillys store.

I have not had an experience like the one at the Marana, AZ (Cortaro) store in quite some time. From staff that had no idea how to determine the correct parts, to one male employee in particular who was more interested in throwing his weight around than actually resolving some confusion over a refund for a part that they seemed incapable of getting right even though I handed them a spec sheet for the proper part. Rude, obnoxious, condescending and probably has no business engaging with the public.
Never again...
