This company is a scam one, all they do is connecting you to different local car rental companies without any guarantee for both to provide the service. I had the worst experience ever with vipcars.com

I booked my car rental ahead of time, two months and a half because I knew the prices will go up during summer. I got my confirmation and called twice one month before the trip and one week before the pick time to make sure my reservation is confirmed. I was reassured that my reservation is confirmed and the agent will meet me at the pick location. I went to the pick location, which is a Starbucks coffee shop (not too professional). Waited for over two hours, the agent did not show up. No car and meet and greet as they promised. I kept calling the company in the meantime but no reply. I had to get a cab back to my place. I tried to contact them multiple times and no answer. Called vipcars and they said they will contact them and get back to me in three to five days (which is absurd). I was extremely frustrated because my plan for vacation was ruined. I tried even to book with a different service but unfortunately, the price for the same car went more than double. On the third day, the rental company replied to me and they said that they car I rented is not available and might be able to provide a smaller, low model car without AC in the next two day. I have a one-year-old baby and there was no way to accept a car to drive in the summer without the ac. They said there is nothing they can do, so I canceled my trip to the Nador (North of Morocco). I spend many days of my vacation trying to find a different car to get around.

After the booking online, they changed the confirmation without letting me aware, plus they immediately charged theirs booking fee before I agreed on the rented car.

Definitely, worst experience ever. IF YOU TRAVELING ABROAD DON'T BOOK A THIRD PARTY, YOU ARE BETTER OFF BOOKING DIRECTLY WITH A TRUSTWORTHY LOCAL COMPANY.

We booked a car with Optimorent which was prepaid in full. When our flight was delayed their office closed early never contacted us to tell us either. When we went to collect the car the next day we were told they cancelled our car (without any contact with me) even though it was paid for in full but could sell us same car at 4 times the original cost. Definitely would avoid, I will never use this company again just scamming people out of money.
