THIS IS A FAKE WEBSITE! This website is the definition of SCAM ARTIST! IT IS A SCAM! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION! onlineTXdefensivedrivingcourse.com is NOT an approved defensive driving course. It IS NOT EVEN A REAL BUSINESS OR WEBSITE. This website is just trying to get your card info so they can charge you and steal your money. If that's not enough they WILL charge you ludicrous prices immediately after paying for their "course" just for you to receive your "certificate"(that you will never receive because it's not a real site that is not state approved) They claim they are the cheapest to get your foot in the door and for you to give up your credit card info. DONT FALL FOR IT! Even if you are able to take a course and do pay all the additional price gouging fees, you will not receive a certificate and your court will not accept this as it is not an approved site and they WILL NOT STOP CHARGING YOUR CARD EVEN MONTHS AFTER YOU USED IT! And once you actually do catch on that it's a scam and try to contact them, their site doesn't actually have a help/contact page that is legitimate. It's a fake page. Then the phone number on their website is a phone number for a different defensive driving website. 100% SCAM ARTISTS! The internet and better business bureau needs to take this fraudulent deceptive page down immediately and take legal action against this person before they destroy more people's lives that are trusting they are using a legitimate defensive driving course site. OnlineTXDefensiveDrivingCourse offers an online driver training course so that you can have a speeding ticket dismissed by the state. This company boasts that they charge the cheapest for their course as allowed by law. What they don't tell you is that they nickel and dime you throughout the process. For example, they want $4.95 for audio, $15 for preferred customer service (what ever that is). Then they really turn it up and tell you that it will take 15-20 days for your certificate to reach you by mail knowing people will typically wait until the last minute for whatever reason to complete the course. The kicker is they don't tell you this until after you paid the $25 and any add ons they conned you into and I am sure they don't offer a refund. So they offer expedited processing and shipping with an email option. The email option is $29.95 and the overnight by mail is $34.95 and then they STILL want to add on fees such and text delivery and lifetime storage. This $25 course ended up costing me $25 for the course, $4.95 for the audio (but offer a coupon, so that nets to $0) and a $3 dollar service charge. The minimum I could have paid was the $28.00 which is more than the $25 they claim they charge, which in my book means they are lying about the cost of the course. I took the course and of course passed (its pretty simple). Then they kindly reminded me that it takes 15-20 days to receive my certificate via USPS and my course is due to the state in 12 days so I paid the $29.95 for a grand total of $57.95. They are taking advantage of those in situation where they can gouge you when you are down.
