We bought 2 tickets for the UEFA Champions League in Madrid a month ago for over 6000 Euros each. The day before we fly, we are asked to scan them a copy of the credit card and a copy of our passport (no reason given why). Then when we arrive a day before the match, we are asked to scan another document confirming the address of the hotel and delivery will be arranged once they get that scan. No one answers the number given on the website. NOBODY! 6 hours later, we are asked to print and scan another document. This time, they tell us that the category that we booked the tickets for is full and we have to be downgraded. They will refund us 150 Euros per ticket (for a ticket we later realised is 3000 Euros cheaper than what we paid for!) - and they want us to sign that we are ok with the downgrade and won't claim for a full refund. The next morning (the day of the match) at 4am, we get another email asking for yet ANOTHER scan to disclaim any refund from them. By then we had already googled reviews for them and found this site - realising that we have probably been SCAMMED and they also SCAMMED a ton of other people. I threatened them to send me the tickets by 3pm Madrid time (game was at 9pm that night and stadium opens at 6pm) or I WILL SEEK LEGAL MEANS TO GET A BLOODY FULL REFUND OF MY 2 TICKETS AND ALL THE 4 SCANS I HAD SENT BEFORE WILL BE NULL AND VOID AS IT ASSUMES THE DELIVERY OF TICKETS. At 2pm, we get a call that the tickets were getting hand delivered by 3pm. That's when we find out that the tickets are like the cheapest of all the categories and worth 3000 Euros (per ticket) less than what we paid for. And they are going to refund us 150 Euros per ticket. WHAT A BLOODY CON JOB! Even then, we weren't sure if the tickets were fake or real... Basically, I think this company NEVER had the SUPPLY OF TICKETS to match the DEMAND and the MONEY they collected. They OVERCOMMITTED and then just tell people that due to 'security reasons', their tickets are CANCELLED. And I pretty much bet they never get refunded. I don't understand why a website like that can continue to exist and continue to CON and SCAM innocent fans of their hard earned money. It's disgusting and disgraceful that people like that continue to exist with no conscience of their scam jobs! PLEASE NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. If someone can SUE them, please do it! Never been so frustrated with such unprofessionalism and bad service from an online ticket website.
Will definitely use this site in the future. Thanks for making it a snap. I was quite dissipointed to purse tickets for Champions League final but hotfootballticketscom made it easy. Just waiting for enjoy Liverpool vs. Real Madrid Match on Saturday, May 26, I really don't have much else to say.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
On 22/09/2011 I had ordered two tickets for the away section for the Arsenal/Tottenham match on 26/02/2012 for my fiance and his friend, both Tottenham fans. The tickets cost £490 plus £30 booking fee, i.e. £520.00 or EUR668.20. When I placed the order, I was actually confused by the EUR amount and called them ... they confirmed they would only charge EUR 668.20.
On 20/02/2012 I received a rather strange email called "Predelivery Confirmation", which I had to sign and return, thus confirming my shipping details.
On Thursday, 23/02/2012, I got slightly concerned because we did not have the tickets. I emailed them, no response. When I called them a lady told me that she would call me back in the course of the day regarding the delivery, because there had been a problem with the supplier. Having not heard from them by 4pm I called them on all their numbers available, either got hung up upon straight away, or they put me in a loop, where I was forced to listen to music for ages.
On Friday, 24/02.2012, I sent yet another email, no response. I called again, didn't get through for ages. When I finally got through I was told to be patient, I should expect delivery Saturday morning. No delivery Saturday morning, I called again, was told Sunday morning. Sunday morning (the day of the game) I got a call saying to meet their courier at a London train station. He showed up late, gave us two tickets (credit card-style in another name) for the home section (Arsenal). We complained straight away and were told that we could either take them or leave them, there were no other tickets.
Having read their (in my opinion illegal) terms of use and customers' feedback on this and other review websites on Saturday (rather late, I know), my worst fears were confirmed. We wouldn't get any other tickets, and definitely no refund.
So my fiance and his friend felt forced to accept the tickets and sit in the Arsenal section. Despite not making a sound it became obvious pretty soon that they were away fans, since they didn't join the cheering and singing. After unsuccessful attempts to relocate to a slightly quieter area, they felt so intimidated and unsafe that they decided to leave the grounds half way through the second half, when things got rather heated.
To make things worse, on checking my bank statement I noticed that they had applied a very bad exchange rate and added some commission to the final amount, thus charging me £601.99 as opposed to £520.
